I am writing this review as I am totally not satisfied with the service that was performed on my 2003 Crossroads RV, I had it brought in for some service on the A/C, have tensioner for my awning and a few other things that needed done. I had it there for over three weeks and in that time, I had to have two new batteries put in it and a new converter with old breakers put back into it. The A/C was not serviced as I had wanted, they said it had been wired to an outside outlet so it could run on 110 a/c, so I had that rewired back, but according to there mechanic who did the work they could not test the A/C to see if it worked. When I got there to pick up my RV they were repairing my front steps as they said thay had gotten broken. When I left it there with them, my steps were in very good shape. Since bringing my 5th wheel to Arizona, I have had many problems with my A/C not running properly, my frig not working properly either, breakers popping all the time and I have spent an additional $400.00 to get things repaired and in working order. I have since found out that my new converter was wired wrong causing my A/C, Frig, TV and other appliances to not work properly. Yes, Ron is a nice guy, but the mechanic don't know jack about repairing RV's. I spent almost a thousand dollars on getting things repaired in my 5th wheel and am still getting the things I have paid for, fixed again because nobody there knows what they are doing. My converter that I had in their when I brought it in had no problems when I bought it, because I had everything checked before I bought it and it worked fine including my refrigerator, everything on my RV was working as it was supposed too. I feel that i was taken advantage of as I am a new RV owner and really don't know much about them. If you need parts, yes go to Stardeck, but for service, find another place that does the work properly. If I was still in the state I would take it back and make them fix it all at their expense, but am in another state living in it. Also was told they could not check the A/C due to no 30 amp service to check if it would work, all they could tell me was that the fan worked, when I got it fixed it was dirty and the condenser fins had to be straightened and a new capacitor for the compressor had to be repaired, so now it works fine, but keeps popping the circuit breaker all the time, which has caused my refrigerator to stop working and not get cool, plus it also pops my TV off too when the A/C circuit pops. Really guys it not brain surgery to wire a converter, but putting in the old breakers in a new converter, there should have been new ones installed. I don't think I will be using Stardeck again for repairs on my RV. You really deserve no stars for your service. read more
