I was frazzled when I went in and Walt Sr. Listened and then took me out to my car to give me a realistic observation and aplan of action. We agreed on a mutually convenient time and I was given realistic time expectations and updates from Walter. The front end of my car looked beautiful and more important, it was safe to drive. My only constructive criticism would be to remove the email address from the business card or get in the habit of checking messages first thing in the morning. Brought my Toyota for a bumper damage. The service and work was great!! The price was also reasonable

My car broke down in the worst possible spot on Rt 80. the other night, splayed out across four lanes of traffic. After about 10 minutes of attempting to push it back into the Dollar General parking lot with no success, I see a tow truck pull up (I didn't even call Triple A yet). The driver hops out, immediately hooks my vehicle up to his flatbed and moves me out of harm's way. When I offered to give him some money for his troubles, he declined. I asked for his name -- turns out it's Walt of this auto body shop. Here to leave a review to say that this man was Heaven-sent. God Bless you, Walt. If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would. I just had Walt's Auto Body spray my new F150 with the Rhino Liner and they did a great job. They took care to do the prep work properly and removed the box-link locations as well as the new "work station" on the tailgate so they could spray the tailgate. I had a great experience with Walt's. They were very courteous and seemed to operate with very high professional standards. I overheard one of the owner's phone conversation with an upset customer (her complaint was a little off-base), and he refused to badmouth other auto body shops and was respectful but adamant about the quality of the work they had performed. He was willing to work with her despite her unjustified claim. Walt's helped me sell my wrecked car for parts after I was in an accident. I was surprised that they could find a buyer who would want anything for it. If you are looking for a used car, they will help you find one. The owners often go to auctions with their customers' wishes in mind. I don't have a car now (RIP), but if I get one again up here I will buy it through Walt's and take it there for service. My friend who coaches soccer at the Sportsplex in N Branford accidentally locked his keys in the trunk of the car while getting an ice pack for an injured player. Walt's was recommended by the police dispatcher and they were amazing. They arrived in less than 10 minutes. Tony spent about 45 minutes with a metal rod and finally got the door lock popped. Helped turn a horrible experience into a decent one. Used car dealer knowingly sent me home in an unregistered car with an illegal plate, and Walt's towed it and would not take my money and said the dealer would need to come and pay for it and pick it up themselves, even were nice enough to give me a ride home. Walts does great work! I have a 1994 Ford Bronco that was restored by Walts. They originally were just replacing the quarter panels and painting the vehicle but decided to do a full restoration for me. The Customer service is awesome and they called me every step of the way to give me progress reports. The Bronco came out looking awesome as if it had just rolled out of the Ford factory. I took my 2005 Toyota Sienna to have a radiator replaced because they were able to charge me about $200 dollar cheaper. I drove the car home after the replacement and felt it was driving rough. My car got worst and the transmission shifted really bad. I decided to drain the transmission fluid and discovered the fluid was thick and orange. There was antifreeze leaked into the transmission. Somehow when they replaced the antifreeze, they got transmission fluid in from the transmission cooler line that goes to the radiator. I tried to save $209 bucks but is now in need of a transmission that will cost $4,000. I would stay away from Walts Auto Body read more
