Sorry I haven't dealt with this office in years and keep hearing all the same complaints that the office staff is rude- will never go back- there are plenty good ENT's in town read more

Dr Schroeder removed my tonsils/adenoids and straightened my septum. His team took excellent care of me. I can breathe well for the first time in my life and will be forever grateful to Dr Schroeder for fixing me. read more

His bedside manner is amazing! My surgery was successful and I've never felt better. I've been in for a couple follow ups and well and am still very happy with him. Couldn't be more pleased. read more

I honestly cannot say enough great things about Dr. Schroeder. After 5 years of being rejected by previous surgeons this good doctor said he would help me. Doctors Scott Manthei and Vincent Nalbone performed surgeries that didn't work and made my breathing unbearable. I can't thank Dr Schroeder enough for going through this extremely difficult surgery and actually giving me my life back. Thank you again. read more

WARNING: do not come here! Besides horrible service and customer care, they smartly set up a clinic and surgery center as separate units to play insurances and take your money. Avoid, you are warned. read more

Tried since March to get an appointment still waiting...... Something's wrong with their procedures. read more

AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS. Here's what happened to me: I was supposed to have septum surgery back in October 2024, but Dr. Schroeder's office rescheduled it to today, March 4, 2025. It is impossible to reach Dr. Schroeder's office by phone or email, but back in early February, I tried to find out what pre-op orders I needed to handle. I left several calls and emails and heard nothing, even after sending letters, so on February 11, 2025, I went to Dr. Schroeder's St. Rose office to find out what tests I needed to have done before my surgery. I needed a chest X-ray, EKG, and blood tests. Thanks to my own GP, I was able to get the EKG and fasting blood test done by February 14, 2025. I got the chest X-ray on February 13, 2025. I called more times, with no response, so on February 27, 2025, I sent a letter (overnight, UPS) to find out what time my surgery was supposed to be and to see if I needed to do anything else. I heard nothing back until last Friday afternoon, February 28, 2025, when I received an email (not a phone call) from Dr. Schroeder's scheduler to say that there was an abnormality with my EKG and requesting a prior EKG for comparison's sake. I saw that email Friday evening and replied to the scheduler to say that I would do my best to get information to her on Monday (yesterday) but that her waiting until the last minute was inappropriate and inconvenient. She and I had to trade emails and calls most of yesterday, but thanks to my GP's office, I was able to get the scheduler the old EKG and clearance by late yesterday afternoon, around 4pm. Not only did she make that process exceptionally difficult (given that the office's original fax machine was down), she had me racing against the clock in the hope that my GP's office would still be open and could be responsive to Dr. Schroeder's last-minute needs. At 4:39p yesterday, she said that I was "good to go." The anesthesiologist left me a message last night walking me through what was to have happened today. Dr. Schroeder's team called me at around 8:20a today to say that the surgery center was canceling my surgery, which had been scheduled for arrival at 9:15a, because the surgery center did not accept Dr. Fakhouri's clearance. Technically, that was the fourth call from ENT-C of Nevada this morning, because the first three were hang-up calls or calls at which I just heard someone breathing. Finally, Sofia from ENT-C of Nevada called to say that I needed more EKG tests and that my surgery was canceled. She appeared taken aback that I was upset. That alone is stunning, but the office's failure to communicate and to plan ahead is completely unacceptable. I have paid for several tests out of my own pocket; I have rescheduled several important meetings; I am "out" both money and time. There were no apologies, and there was no acceptance of any responsibility, from Dr. Schroeder's team. I have asked for a refund of my prepaid surgery costs. Of course, I have not heard anything back today, despite several more messages. There is literally no reason to go to a doctor whose staff is this non-responsive. read more

Some people have messaged me regarding pricing and recovery time. My recovery time was about 2-3 weeks and the swelling fully went down after about 6 months! My insurance covered everything except the "rhinoplasty" portion. I can't remember exactly but I believe it was about $5400. read more

Was amazing with my daughter's surgery! His personality was great and he really put it minds at ease.

I recently went through a septoplasty and rhinoplasty with Dr. Schroeder and am very satisfied with my experience. Leading up to the surgery he provided me with recommendations for the surgery, collected my feedback, and ensured that I had an understanding of the recovery process. It's only been about ten days and I am already noticing and loving the results for both my breath as well as the appearance of my nose. Dr. Schroeder delivered a beautiful and natural nose with noticeable improvement in my ability to breath, despite being swollen still. Thank you Dr. Schroeder! read more

He was great until my deviated septum surgery. Excellent doctor did my thyroid surgery. However, he waited until the end of the year to fix my deviated septum, my deductible and out of pocket had been met so the surgery was ultimately free. He promised me he would fix my nose, and I would be breathing much better. I ended up in the ER that night, clogged with blood and swallowing blood, couldn't breathe.......he did A HORRIBLE JOB! I'm worse off now than I was before the surgery. He's never been accountable, just brushed me off. HE NEEDS TO RETIRE, make your appointment with his partners. read more

Think twice. I think I rushed into something with a provider who is too busy to provide reasonable follow up support.

6 month wait to get an appointment. No prompt phone service. 2 hour wait, even when you do have an appointment.

My father lost 95% of his hearing overnight due to a viral inner ear infection (according to this ENT) and when we went to the nearby ER that night, they recommended that we go to the best ENT in town the next day, this one. My father was also experiencing severe tinnitus and vertigo, so he literally could not hear, stand, nor communicate!! I took him to this ENT the very next morning and he was in there for 4 hours. No hearing, nobody by his side. they spent 4 hours blaring noises in his ears and trying to talk to him!! The man cannot hear!! All of this into his already infected and inflamed ears for their hearing tests. Basically, they "rushed" him through as slowly as possible with doing the least amount of work possible. They prescribed him steroids for a viral infection. (???) Also, they gave him the same amount of steroids that they give a child when they get an ear infection. Not to mention, they set his follow up appointment for 6 WEEKS LATER. The poor guy lost all of his hearing and they told him to come back 6 weeks later!! Good luck!! I highly do not recommend this place. Very unprofessional. Very disorganized. If I could give a zero star review I would be one star will suffice. I wish I could put into words how much of a disservice this place is to people with ear problems. read more

I was referred to Dr. Schroeder as a second opinion regarding my deviated septum and the septoplasty surgery to correct it. As another reviews stated, Dr. Schroeder has the best bedside manner and really puts your fears to rest. I opted to not only have the septoplasty but a rhinoplasty as well to alter the outward appearance of my nose. Both procedures turned out flawlessly! I can now breathe out of my nose and it's completely straight and looks much better post surgery. He stated "you are still going to look like you but a better you". He was exactly right! I know 3 other people that saw him for similar procedures and that's what made me decide to see him. I'm so glad I did!!! Both surgeries were done on 2/26/19 and I couldn't be happier! read more

He is a wonderful surgeon! His bedside manner is great. Had multiple friends seen him too with nothing but great things to say!

I had both a septoplasty and a rhinoplasty. Dr. Schroeder is great! My nose looks fabulous and I can breathe!!!

Dr Schroeder did a great job on my husband's sinus. For the first time in a few decades he can breathe well. He even got a little dizzy from getting oxygen when 3 days after surgery splinters were removed. Those 3 days were kind of hard to handle, but there is no other way. The staff was always friendly. But I have to admit, schedule times for appointments and surgery are very long. It worked out well, though. Big thanks to the doctor!!! read more

Great office and I loved the doctor! I was in and out in under an hour. I strongly suggest doing your paperwork before your appointment because I feel like that helped tremendously. The doctor was straightforward. read more

Dr Schroeder is highly recommended. He has the best bedside manner which makes you feel as though you are his family. He is very efficient and effective with his treatment and education on what his assessment. From start to finish, Dr. Schroeder has been successful at easing any worries I may have had with my procedure. read more

Be careful of this surgeon. I went in for a septoplasty and minor rhinoplasty only to raise the bridge because of the collapse septum made the bridge look flat. What I got out of the surgery was a bone spur on my left nostril that has crust build up everyday which gives me irritation 24/7. There are also a lot of pockets on both of my nostril that has build up crust and mucus. There hasn't been a day since the surgery where I did not have blood in my nose. Dr. Schroeder tells me I'm fine and there are over the counter drugs but I was already taking a saline spray, neilmed wash and putting oinment everyday. So after the surgery I had to do more care and I still cant breathe. That defeats the whole purpose of the surgery. By having this it eliminated me from the Air Force (which they can testify by the way becuase I been in contact with them well before the surgery that I was going to get my septum fixed). On top of all these, my nose is now crooked and I loss the tip of my nose which was confirmed by 3 other doctors that I have seen for other opinions. I have loss my job, my house and the air force opportunity because of this and Dr. Schroeders advice was go see a therapist so that I can spend more money that I dont have. He denied my disability (for work) because he said I have facial dysmorphia when my other doctors can confirm that his procedure was a failure (I have documents to prove this). He pretty much is accusing my other doctors with facial dysmorphia. I'm glad I have a lot of documentation to pursue the lawsuit. I even started recording our conversations our last few meetings because there was something sketchy going on. He asked for my other doctors information three times and yet when I contacted my other doctor, they said they never heard from him. Last, he didnt do a one year follow up photo like he said he would in the beginning. I was counting he would do this to help my case. The last 1.5 year has been a living hell for me and I will dedicate my life to get justice no matter what happens. read more

Since I can't give a zero out of five stars, I'm giving Dr. Schroeder a one out of five stars for the aweful mess he made of my nose during surgery. Another doctor was able to fix some of the mess, but I will probably need another surgery to make my nose normal again. read more

I could not have picked a better Dr to perform my sinus surgery and corrective rhinoplasty. I gave suffered with severe breathing problems and sinus infections for years. Cosmetically, my nose was too narrow, deviated septum and the tip came to a point. I could not have asked for a better result. My nose looks beautiful and natural and I am breathing much better. He nailed both form and function. I highly recommend Dr Walter Schroeder. read more

He might be good but I may never know. The office is not willing to truly assist this patient.. hard to reach for initial scheduling of first appointment. Surgery was rescheduled and they failed to communicate and still received a preop call.. With apologies I was told I would receive a call back to reschedule an appointment but still waiting..I was reassured their error was not to be a problem with the schedule. High expectations? I think not., I have dual insurance with my primary as an hmo. They only perform surgery one day a month for HPN patients on the hmo per his staff. That means thousands of patients and only surgery 12 days a year ? According to their staff.. one day a month for HPN... nice Dr. read more
