Dr. Rhoten is fine for regular dental business, but I would advise against using him for a occlusal guard. I had regular jaw pain before, but I was in life altering chronic pain for months while trying out the guard and getting adjustments. Even though I shelled out hundreds on the piece I had to start using my old retainer piece just to function. He's a fine person and regular Dr., but please use caution in regard to jaw issues. This experience was very upsetting and I will not be returning because of it.

I've been through a root canal with them, and I think they were pretty good about it, though I don't have any other experience to compare it with. I have never paid more than $60 for nitrous during a cleaning. They had a somewhat new hygienist that took 1.5 hours to clean my teeth (which are in good shape...normally takes about 45 minutes...no extras were needed such as xrays, etc). When I checked out, I was told there was no charge for my cleaning (insurance covered), but handed me a bill for $180 for nitrous! I was flabbergasted.
