Roach took time to fully explain his plan of care and he explained the reason for applying onlays rather than crowns.

Any fillings or work that has needed to be done is always great! His staff is wonderful and super friendly! My kids enjoy going as well and they love the treasure box. Thanks for all you do Dr. Mohlman!

We regretted taking our 3 week old baby there- she was mildly tongue-tied so we scheduled a 'free…read moreconsultation'. I wish it'd been just that. Dr. Mohlman persuaded us by saying she was "severely restricted", and leading me to believe she needed both tongue and labial (upper lip) frenulums "released" - the sooner the better. So we had it done that day- the laser is an intense, painful burn that takes a long time to heal. I discovered doing research after the procedure that 76% of babies can be diagnosed as 'lip-tied' and do not need treatment- they will grow out of it. It was traumatic and painful for her. Her mood shifted from happy and content to fussy and at times inconsolable. We were told after the procedure that we needed to consult with a lactation consultant and chiropractor because her mid-line base had been compromised. We didn't need either or those prior. I wish I had waited and done more research before the appointment (I'd done a fair amount, but not enough to give me sufficient confidence to disagree with a dental professional that I wanted to trust). I wish I'd not trusted him or his consultation.

I had been a loyal patient at Southridge Dental for over seven years! Then during one visit DDS…read moreSimper made a mistake, which is only human. He broke a very visible crown, while working on another tooth. The accident I can understand, even if I thought he was spending far too little time with each patient. His actions next are what I find deplorable! DDS Simper then dropped me as a patient, not because of something I did, or some unpaid bill. He dropped me as a patient because of something that he did, and he did not want to fix! Which is why I was forced to take legal action against DDS Simper, and Southridge Dental. Be warned loyalty to this dentists will not be returned, if it inconveniences him; BEWARE!!!

I was once a dental assistant myself before having gotten cancer and gastroparesis which paused my…read moredental career and destroyed my mouth. I went to Dr Safford in desperate need looking for help. I was in so much pain and shame. I cried every night in pain super glueing whatever teeth I could into my mouth crying upset I was probably giving myself cancer again. I was so depressed. I had already lost my oldest son 5 years earlier to an unsolved murder. I had been trying to fix my teeth then but life happened and this was the first time I was able to get back for help. At first they seem to care and want to help. Made the best promises to take care of me and quoted me almost $23k to fix my mouth with partials. I thought I would be able to fund my mouth pretty quickly when I first visited the office or I wouldn't have even gone in. However long story short it ended up taking longer then expected. At first we got denied loans because we had just bought a house. We were also denied care credit until we got a co-signer. In the mean time from me not getting the money fast enough they went from a very caring office to a very not caring office overnight. They would cancel my appointments before I could even though I would call to cancel it over a week and a half before and no one could find my appointment to cancel it cause the office manager did it herself when she thought I couldn't pay fast enough. I ended up getting some carecredit with a co-signer up to $6k to start some work approved. So I did end up getting a appointment with Dr Safford to start in my mandibular anterior teeth at the end of it. I was still working on funding the rest of procedures I would need. They assured me they would take the best care of me. I had my doubts after the way I was starting to have been treated. If you look at the photos the first time Dr Safford fixed my teeth the colors did not match and there was a huge hole in the composite material on the buccal surface of the tooth that you could easily stick an explorer into. The tooth was very rough in many surfaces, and my bite was way off as they never once checked it with articulating paper I did not find this to be acceptable work nor work worth $23k. So I had to reach back out to Dr Safford staff to get an appointment for her to fix it. They were not happy about this. When I left Dr Safford said if I wasn't happy she would fix it later. I feel like she rushed her work and she knew it or she wouldn't have made the comment. Even after fixing it...the color match was better but it wasn't really matching or very pretty. It's now been fixed properly by another dentist in Costa Rica. She sat me up in the chair after 2 hours or having to fix her previous work and tells me I need to go home and really think about it she's the dentist for me because she felt like their had been a breakdown in Dr patient communication and trust. She felt like our last appointment had went very well and she didn't agree with me needing her to fix her work. I hold her why I felt the way I did. How I was very hurt they were so wonderful when they thought I had money only to be so horrible when they thought I didn't have it. They the promised me the best care when I found some money, yet did not deliver, and then told me I needed to go home and think. No I don't need to think. For my health and mental health we agree to disagree. I let her know at that time I was gifted the entire loan amount plus $24k in cash and that I need that care credit refunded because I would be paying in cash from now on. That's when she unhappily had me sent to the front to check out. That's when I found out they went ahead and over charged my care credit for $6 at once even though I didn't have that much work done yet. They had to refund me $6k and I turned around and paid them $197.40 that owed out of pocket. I asked them twice for my dental records to be emailed to me because I was going to be looking at Mexico or Costa Rica for dental care since I had been gifted cash and I wanted to see if I could find better for my health and mental health. I walked away. I found a great dental tourist company in Costa Rica and I got my dream treatment plan with full mouth restoration with implants and crown. 6 implants, 18 crowns, 5 root canals, iv sedation, flights, hotels, sight seeing..two trips..all expenses paid...$20k in Costa Rica. $4k under budget and I got the best care in the world. Lifetime warranty on my dental work if I return once a year to Costa Rica for a cleaning. It's not expensive to travel. Amazing care! Beautiful country! I'm so happy that Southridge Dental was mean to me. However the same day I'm getting implants in Costa Rica Southridge is still sending me certified harassment letters talking about how they won't accept me as a patient anymore because I called them out on their sloppy work. . I absolutely would NOT recommend Southridge Dental nor Dr Safford.
