I had a chunk of primarily skin but also fat that just hung. You could see it in almost every outfit I wore. I tried shapewear, but that didn't even hide it. I was so self conscious for so long. After I met Dr. Lundeby the decision to proceed was easy. He is very attentive, explains everything in detail, and even cracks a few jokes to ease any nervousness. My husband and I drove to Spokane for the procedure, by the time they took me back it was almost an hour past my check in time. I was a little frustrated about it, but they had a medical emergency so I understood. I wish my husband could have come to pre-op with me, as I have pretty bad anxiety, but I managed to get through. The day after surgery I removed my bandages and cried. Although there is still bruising and swelling, my stomach looks AMAZING. It is finally flat!!!! Apparently the extra x-rays were for my insurance. I really like Dr. Maxfield and the staff. I thought it took longer with my tiny cavity than when I'd had a root canal. They did have to go through my crown and take it off, order a new one. Today I was early and had to wait 35 minutes which is very unusual. We have been loyal clients for many years.
