I brought in a mirror that had separated from its frame, and honestly wasn't sure it could be saved. Jonathan not only took on the challenge, but completed the repair right then and there while I waited -- and the finished product was absolutely perfect -- you'd never know it had ever been damaged. What truly set the experience apart was his efficiency. He was respectful of my time from start to finish, and the speed of the repair exceeded my expectations. Before I left, he carefully and thoughtfully packed everything so it could travel home safely. That attention to detail really speaks to the level of care he puts into every piece. Orion Custom Framing is the kind of shop you feel lucky to have discovered, and Jonathan is the kind of craftsman you want handling your most treasured pieces. I'm already looking forward to bringing in my next framing project. Highest possible recommendation -- five stars, without hesitation!

One of the staff (an asian woman- didnt' get her name) was so nice to help me find the exact colors I needed and patiently explained the sales and discount pricing for the huge aisle of liquitex acrylic paints. Then when I got to the counter (albeit really overwhelmed by too many choices) Jayy was at the counter and smiled and was a calm beacon to my shopping anxiety and confusion - with only like 20? minutes left until closing time! She painstakingly helped me look at each of the colors my art teacher wanted me to get and helped me choose two paint sets that I could afford that met my criteria for both watercolor and for acrylics. Jayy sat there patiently scanning and calculating all the different permutations of paints and even gave me advice about what colors to get now vs maybe later when I save more money up! She even helped me maximize my discount and coupons. WOW. Jayy was so knowledgeable about the colors and types of paints I needed and this AMAZING experience was why I was SO GLAD I went iN PERSON to the store! thank you thank you Jayy for making my shopping experience so much less stressful!!!

The staff there was able to do this while I waited, and even popped the print and mat back against the glass where it had not been done correctly on one of the prints. And the most unbelievable thing of all, they refused to charge me for any of it. While I was waiting, I could see another member of the staff helping another customer with various options in framing some prints and they were so patient and helpful. The funny thing is I almost went to another frame shop a bit closer to home that I've been to before, but decided to try a new place since the other one had sort of lackluster customer service. Underglass has definitely earned its place as the future spot where I will definitely be going to for all of my framing needs. Can't recommend this place enough!

I looked around my neighbourhood to find a place nearby since it looked like my regular store had shut down. I couldn't find *anything* nearby but Frame123 wasn't too far out and looked near where my previous store was. I texted the shop owner and while it took a few days to get an appointment set up, it was entirely reasonable and within the same week. I headed on down at the appointed time and imagine my surprise when I found that this new shop was located in the exact same spot as the previous shop I used to go to! When I walked in, I recognized the owner as the same guy (and he asked me if I'd been there before as well). Apparently this new shop is the same guy, same stock, everything as before, except new name! I was so happy because I've loved all his previous work before and the prices are good. I spent some time with the owner, working through different mat and frame options for the two pieces I brought in and between his opinion and my tastes, we got both of them worked out pretty quick. I'm still waiting to pick them up (but it's only been a week and well within the estimate I was given) but I trust that they'll look amazing. I have had several pieces framed over the years. Most recently, I had a photo from a NYT article framed alongside the headline. The recipient LOVED the finished product.
