Where do I start with James! LOL. I'm not even sure how I can describe all he's done for us…read morebecause its frankly gone beyond the scope of his job as a real estate agent. We met James by chance after requesting to view a home on realtor.com. We immediately liked his style and personality and decided to work with him full-time to sell our home and purchase a new home (we just closed today, yipeee). He is one of the most friendly, understanding and authentic people I have ever met and made the entire home buying/selling experience about as seamless as I can imagine it being. We were in a pickle because we needed to sell our home before buying a new one and in THIS crazy housing market, a "contingency" is just unattractive and difficult. We learned that the hard way when we put an offer on the first house we loved and didn't make the cut. Thankfully, with James spot on pricing and beautiful photos etc, he sold our home in TWO DAYS! He got us an outstanding deal that we just couldn't believe. We were baffled by how savvy he was in negotiating things for our sale. We were extremely happy to say the least! James was always available when we needed him or had any questions about the process of buying. A home popped up on his radar and before the listing agent even had all the photos, he had scheduled a showing for us. He knew we would love the home and he was right lol. Before midnight that night, he had written up an offer and submitted it. We were so fast even the sellers were shocked. We ended up getting this home (we are SOOOO excited) and we sincerely feel that it was because he was very punctual and attentive that we were able to be first in line. The home received many other offers but with James' help we got it all done. Beyond all of this, James has become a friend. He golfs with my husband and is truly an enjoyable person to be around. We are so glad we met him! Definitely will recommend him to anyone who needs a realtor as you will not find a more attentive real estate agent. He makes you feel like you are his only client!

Mark knows the ins and outs of homebuying, even in this complex scenario, and was able to answer our questions and provide all our options clearly. I've bought and sold a couple of homes now, and this was the smoothest mortgage transaction of them all. Considering how complicated my life was when making this purchase, it speaks well to Mark's expertise and the support he provides to his clients.

Did we buy a home? Yes Was it smooth during the time? Yes…read moreDoes Mark care about what happens as soon as he sells your loan? No It was during one of my initial conversations with Mark that I expressed how important it was to me that my loan was serviced with a reputable provider and that I worried about it getting sold and causing me issues down the line.  I had done my previous mortgage loan through Wells Fargo and since it was a large bank they managed my mortgage loan and it was really smooth. Unfortunately, I had heard horror stories from friends and coworkers who didn't go through large banks and had their loans sold only to experience issues down the line. Mark assured me that mortgage loans almost always were sold and that it wouldn't cause issues for me. He was 100% wrong. My loan was sold shortly after we purchased the home and Mark or someone from his team wrote down our address incorrectly on the paper work. This caused our mortage paperwork to be mailed to our neighbor. I almost missed my first mortgage payment because the information on how to pay was only included in the mail that had been incorrectly sent to my neighbor. I had to spend several hours on hold to track down what had happened to my paperwork and retrieve my account number. I thought I had it all corrected and now yearly a year later I had to spend 10 hours on the phone with the mortgage provider becuase they incorrectly dispersed my property taxes to the wrong account because of that initial paperwork that was incorrectly filled out during the loan transfer. We made it clear with Mark, we did NOT want to deal with our loan being sold to a horrible loan service provider. Lo and behold, it was, and it's caused us a lot of pain. With so many lending people to work with, I would not recommend Mark. Find someone else.
