They suggested I call one of their Nest Pros to assist. I called several HVAC and electricians before I struck gold with these guys. I called on Friday afternoon and Ray was on the scene first thing Monday morning. He sorted out the wiring and had the stats set up in no time. All the while, Ray was super professional and patiently answered my questions. Thumbs way up from me. BTW, Nest also agreed to reimburse me for the service call because they weren't able to help me by email or phone (I didn't ask, they offered). Let's see, I also got an instant $100 rebate from Nest on the stats and rebates from my energy supplier totaling $200 for the two units I bought. Bottom line: $100 instead of $250 for each stat. The energy rebates go until Dec. 31st, on Nest and other stats.

First off the person who came was very friendly and professionally. Was done with the job but the he said the boss wanted more testing done even though he knew what was wrong. Then the next day they send a different person without the part and wanted me to pay for the job like it was new. He looked at the part and went off t get it. I canceled service. The right way to do this is the person who first came should have ordered the part and whoever was going to finish should have picked up the part so u pay for the install not for someone to start the job from scratch.

So I wanted a local electrician to come out to figure it out and fix. I wanted an actual local electrician not some company 2 hours away that pops up at the top of the list just because they want to start providing "service" in the area. (Found that out when trying to find a "local" deck builder a few years ago via Yelp). Anyhow, I called Ed, explained the problem, he had me check a few things, and pretty much identified the problem over the phone. He said he was on another job at the moment and would get back to me later in the day. Unlike many of the other services I've reached out to on Yelp lately, he actually followed through and came by late afternoon.
