I recently had an issue with my mini split, and I called for a service. I was told to service the unit the cost would be between $159 and $250. The service person came and went, no information was provide on the service he perform expect to say it was a deep clean. A few weeks later I received the bill in the mail for $380, well that is way more than what was told to me. The bill also did not have any details on the service performed, the bill states a "Tune Up Ductless". When I spoke to the person who handles the billing, she said that is the price and sorry I was told something different. She did offer to deduct $25. Also the office person said the credit card they have on file is no longer valid, I did not even know they had my credit card still on file and never gave permission to charge without my knowledge. This is terrible customer service and a dishonest business. When a price is given every effort should be made to honor that price and if it is going to be substantially more like, in my case, then that should be told up front prior to work being started.

Mitsubishi models are not cheap, but they are the best quality on the market. Most importantly, when the oppressive muggy weather finally came, having the unit proved its worth. I randomly called Baystate, 45 miles from my house, trying to avoid the scammers on Cape Cod, and it was fate. He was happy to do the ride.
