Apparently this is the time of year when the water table rises, and my pumps are on almost all the time and I was concerned with the noises so set up an appointment with Riedell. They offered to come out between scheduled calls (which I thought was awesome), but I told them it wasn't an emergency -- I just wanted an opinion from an expert. They scheduled an appointment for two days later, and the tech (Glen) arrived on time. He was friendly and professional and went to work studying all the pumps in the basement, as well as the pump in the septic system. Now he absolutely could have told me they all needed to be replaced immediately and I would have cut a check. Instead, he assured me they're all in working order and in good shape. As this was my first appointment, he also took a look at my other equipment (on demand water heater, washer hookup, main water line, toilets, faucets, and furnace), and gave me a solid walk-through, providing some thoughts on what I should be looking at over the next year or so. Even though nothing was wrong with my equipment, I happily signed the check for the visit. I have piece of mind and have found my plumbing and heating company.

    Company has gone downhill in the past two yrs. new ownership or next generation taking over…read more poor,chaotic communication between multiple staff when new water heater installed in Fall. now double the cost to have water turned on after winter closure. manager refused to explain why i was charged for two hrs of service when the past ten yrs it was one hr. he arrogantly told me he "did not need to be accountable to his costumers ". I am disappointed I can no longer depend on this company who had previously provided exceptional service.
