To the Walsh Honda Service Team, I wanted to share my disappointment with my recent visit. This is the second vehicle I've purchased from Walsh, and I chose to drive from McDonough to Macon for my maintenance because I trusted your service. After driving an hour, I was told my free oil change could not be done because my Maintenance Minder wasn't at 15%. That requirement was never mentioned when the free service was offered. I was also told I needed a differential fluid change at 6,000 miles, even though Honda doesn't recommend that until 15,000 miles under severe conditions, and I only drive regular highway miles. Because of these experiences, I want to let you know that I will not be purchasing another vehicle from Walsh Honda. Sincerely, Bruce read more

There's a lot that can be said about a car dealerships. More times than not, the anxiety of buying a vehicle and feeling the pressure of the salesperson makes for an unpleasant experience. This is NOT THE CASE with WALSH HONDA and JENNIFER MILLER. Jennifer is a reliable, down to earth person who takes the stress out of buying a car. She makes the dealership feel as if they are all patient and understanding of your needs. She will go above and beyond to try to accommodate your financial needs. If you are in the market for a vehicle, I recommend swinging by Walsh Honda and ask to speak to Jennifer Miller. read more

Blame the Call Center I was given an appointment for a recall repair. I arrived for the appointment and was told they didn't have the part and couldn't make the repair. Doesn't matter they made the appointment or that I drove over an hour to get to the appointment. No accountability or understanding of customer service. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT VALUE CUSTOMERS. read more

Walsh Honda - A reminder for service they don't provide - Car Dealers Near Me - Macon, Georgia

Premier customer service where you treated like family. Highly recommend them. The car was ready as promised.

First time customer and I couldn't be happier with the service. Rick is incredibly kind, as is the rest of the staff. I appreciate the transparency and options. I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off or being taken advantage of. As a woman, that's important to me. The service is excellent! read more

Absolutely PHENOMENAL experience! From the beginning of our search through Tina and the closing of the deal with Jennifer, this dealership gets it right! The customer service from the moment we arrived (from about 2 hrs out), was greater than expected and the overall customer service was exactly what you hope for when purchasing a vehicle. We couldn't be happier with our purchase or experience and we greatly appreciate Tina and Jennifer for their AMAZING service! read more

I have been a loyal customer for two years and have NEVER been given or offered a coupon for services. I asked if they would honor the coupons from the Honda dealership that I purchased my vehicle from before relocating to Georgia and they declined that suggestion. If you are willing to wait for long periods of time although you may have an appointment and consistently pay high prices for vehicle servicing, then this is the dealership to go to. read more

When a service department does not re-attach a gas tank to a vehicle that was brought in because of a recall notice, and then proceeds to argue with the customer by saying, "How do we know you didn't detach the gas tank on your own?" that dealership receives a 1-star rating. In addition, the service manager, William Sawyer of Walsh Honda, continued to argue about it was our fault that they didn't run through their safety checks prior to giving us back our truck because "well, you guys were in a hurry to get your truck back." Um! The dealership had our truck for two days, and I'm pretty sure that attaching the FUEL TANK is a non-negotiable when it comes to safety service checks! Do better Walsh Honda, and especially Mr. Sawyer. DO BETTER! read more

I have purchased a used vehicle from Walsh Honda twice now. The second time around had a few hiccups along the way, no fault of Walsh. The customer service I experienced during this time was unrivaled. You won't find a better dealership. They heard my concerns and never batted an eye to help. I wasn't just another number, I was treated like family. Walsh came up with a game plan before I could even ask for one. My family and I will continue to drive the 90 miles south of us to do business with them. We are forever customers. Thank you Walsh! read more

Went into Walsh Honda with pre-approved financing ~ Their Sales Manager refused it! ~ Then offered higher financing! = Lawsuit Fodder. Stated clearly I do not pay, "$699.00 Documentation Fee" or "$79.00 Filing Fee". This is all dealers "demand" for zero earned, free money dealers attempt to put over on customers, in varying amounts, that has zero to do with the value of the vehicle or the mere filling in blanks on paper or e-mail forms There is no reason whatsoever for any "documentation or filing fee": A 0.52 Cent stamp or fill in the blank e-mail form, for title and tag. Refuse to pay these fees with Honda and all car sellers everywhere. I look forward or not to Honda's response wording: Stay away from Walsh Honda. read more

Cedric Green had to have been the worst car salesman I've ever experienced. Upon asking if my girlfriend can test drive the lovely type R, he told us that we had to talk numbers first. He didn't get our names, makes us feel welcomed, nor try to work with us at all. Thankfully Carmax had lovely customer service and helped us right away ! read more

Never bought a car here, but my family has taken their total of 4 Hondas over the last 2 decades to get serviced at Walsh Honda. The staff is professional and kind. They'll give you an honest estimate of how much it'll cost, and rarely will try to sell you on an additional service. My most recent trip, I had to ask THEM if I needed to add anything else and they said not to worry until the next tune up. Of course I would recommend calling ahead to make an appointment. I've rarely had to wait more than a few hours to get a basic service done. They do have a courtesy shuttle if you need to get back somewhere. The prices are good too. My 0W-20 oil change is right at $30! I've had some crappy little oil change place charge me $75 before, for the very same service! This is why I keep coming back to Macon even though I live in Atlanta now. I know that I'll get good service, and that I won't get ripped off. read more

WOW!!!! Is all I can say about this place. Jennifer Miller makes car buying fun again. From the moment I came into building she put ALL of my nerves to rest and handled everything efficiently and professionally. I even got lunch! If you want someone who makes you feel like family and is completely transparent in the process Jennifer is your girl. Thank you so much for all of your help and patience with me! Five stars just doesn't seem like enough read more

I'll never use Walsh Honda Service again. I had my Honda towed in and would call everyday for updates. Everyday they had an excuse for not doing anything. After two weeks I had the car towed to a different shop. That's totally unacceptable. read more

DeWayne did a great job! I made a few specific request and all the work was done as I asked. It was done quickly and I'm please with the experience. read more

Our family has been getting our cars serviced here for 13 years now. My current vehicle was purchased at this dealership and my experience with their sales and service teams has been phenomenal. They've earned my trust over the years and it's the only place I'll bring in my car for servicing. I recently visited for a service and was thrilled to see they've implemented safety measures to keep their team and customers safe during the pandemic. It's reassuring to see everyone (even mechanics!) wearing masks and to see seating inside and outside of the dealership if people need to wait for their vehicles. Shout out to Ricky, Hunter, Shawn, and the gentleman checking in cars (so sorry I didn't catch his name) in the service department! You guys rock! read more

We were working with Kevin, the manager at Walsh Honda, to assist a relative living in Macon with a purchase of a Honda Accord. Kevin and his staff gave first class treatment all the way with great knowledge about the vehicles and his team's customer service skills were top notch!! Highly recommend Kevin and Walsh Honda if you are looking to purchase a Honda in Macon!! read more

William and Shawn in the service department did an outstanding job assisting us with our 2008 Accord repair. It was a very difficult situation that required William to make a bunch of calls to other Honda/Acura stores and Honda's tech line. Over the course of several days he communicated with us regularly and was straight forward and honest regarding the status of the repair. He took ownership and was our point of contact throughout the process. Outstanding job by William, Shawn and all the mechanics "behind the scenes" who revived my Accord. Very pleasant experience. I highly recommend Walsh Honda's service team to everyone! read more

WORST CAR DEALERSHIP EVER! BUYERS BEWARE!!!! They sold my reserved car AFTER they took my down payment, I got insurance for the vehicle, and was pre-approved for car loan. And their own people (Matthew, Shavon & Kevin) didn't even know. They did not apologize & did not try to find any other options. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Visited Walsh Honda for the first time on 3/25/2014 for a timing belt & water pump change. Fantastic help from William Sawyer in the service department. Went over the entire process of the repair and explained everything in detail before any work was performed. Allowed me to have a loaner car also while my 2000 Accord was being worked on. Highly recommend this dealership for vehicle service needs. No kind of haggle or hassle whatsoever. Very pleased and will refer others to them. read more

I worked with Richard and he was the best! I had a difficult situation for him to work with but I left with a brand new car and have zero complaints. I am a disabled veteran due to a back injury. It was Veterans Day and I was told there would be great deals on this day for veterans. When I arrived I was told that if I bought a car that day and financed it with Honda Finance I would get $500 check or $500 Off the price of the car. I listed the male model and year of car I wanted. I made my list of accessory items I wanted on the car. Gave the list to the salesman. It should have been in and out. Was kept at the dealership for over five hours while they kept changing the configurations of accessories to the car. I finally told the salesman he had 10 minutes then I was leaving. I was in pain and ready to go home. I gave him 20 minutes. I went to my car and backed out then the salesman came running out along with the manager and promised to have me out in 10 minutes. I was so damn tired I did not notice that they removed more accessories on the car but did not reduce the price. Now I will have to buy them on my own. I generally got the car I wanted but they messed me over on the accessories. I should have kept driving when I got in the car. I had my dream wish list and did not get it. I financed with Honda Finance and did not get any money off or a check. These are words of Buyer Beware of their deceit and games. They are not there for you, they do not care about you. I discussed issues with dealership. We could not resolve issues. They offered to install options if I paid almost full price for all work. Stay away. They say at cost, but it was with labor markup. $15 Off $530.00. Not a deal. Stay away. read more

Been doing business with this dealership for 30 years and they have never let me down on any of my purchases.

My family and I visited just to look at Pilots. We had one a few years ago, and bought a Ford Explorer last year that just didn't turn out to be all we hoped. Cedric was the salesman who approached us first and he was top notch! He was very nice, helpful and no high pressure at all. He was understanding of what we wanted, and he showed us exactly what we asked for. We ended up trading for a new Pilot and I can't say anything but great things about the service we received. Everyone from Cedric to the sales manager were excellent to deal with. They made us feel like they valued and wanted our business. They truly tried to get the deal we wanted. We have bought many cars over the years, and Cedric was by far one of the best salesmen we've ever dealt with. I highly recommend asking for him if you visit and I also recommend giving Walsh Honda a shot at earning your business! read more

First and foremost - Tony Stephens!! We are returning customers, after purchasing a 98 Civic at Walsh Honda new in '98. I could not have been more pleased with my experience after returning to Walsh for a new Pilot. I did shop around and came back to Walsh and could not be happier with my decision. Tony Stephens was awesome! I could not have asked for a more pleasant, honest, no "typical sales tactics required" Sales Professional. From the very minute I approached Tony with what I was searching for he was able to provide down to the detail assistance on locating our not in stock vehicle. Tony's personality and use of a no nonsense approach is very highly regarded in my book. I told Tony this, I'll write it here. It's like I have known Tony for years, he truly treated me like a good friend and that rates very highly in my book. read more

When I went to the dealer in Warner-Robins, I was treated like an idiot and they tried to blindside me with fees and taxes. They saw military and new to area and felt they could rush things. Huge mistake. I took my business to Walsh and got the service and deal I expected. They clarified my tax exemption, gave me 4k more on my trade-in and gave me the advertised deal from Honda. I have since referred 3 people to Walsh to buy cars. read more

I got my car's oil changed here when I first moved to Macon. I had called the day before and the lady who answered said I could try coming in as a walk-in. When I drove up to the service lanes a woman smiled and told me they'd take care of me right away. Talk about great service! Some of the service men seemed a little "annoyed" that I did not have an appointment but then I informed them the woman told me I would be helped and there were no problems. The gentleman who helped me set up my account, I can't remember his name at the moment, was very nice! He chatted with my fiancé and I discussing Florida (where we both were from) and made us feel right at home. The waiting area is nice and the coffee machine is a nice choice! The gentleman checked on us and informed us that our vehicle was ready - quick service! He gave us his card and told us not to hesitate to give him a call for anything. For my initial service survey I did include his name so he can get the recognition he deserves. I will definitely be making this my Honda location for all my needs! read more

Beware. When you buy a car here you are told you get free oil changes. They make it as difficult as possible to use this benefit. I had an appointment at 2 pm and showed up on time. I was told they were running late (two cars ahead of me) and was told the first time they would be caught up until 4:30 pm so I could come back then. Unacceptable. Also, they do a "full inspection" with every oil change so the process takes an hour! Really??? The service team was disrespectful and did not even apologize for their service failure. My family will be buying two new Hondas over the next year and we will not buy from Walsh again. read more

Kevin and Jennifer were great! No pressure, they gave me all the options and answered all my questions. Jennifer did a great job of showing me all the features. I was there a long time and not once did i feel rushed. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The car has everything i want and more. Kevin has a terrific personally. I felt respected through the entire process. This is not something you get from every dealership. read more

After three months of driving my new 2018 CR-V, I received an email from the dealership stating "If you bought a Honda then please contact our service department to schedule your first oil change." BTW, The oil changes are free. I made an appt using their online service schedule and drove 40 miles to the dealership on the day of the appt. Once there, the service manager REFUSED the free oil change as he said that the oil usage indicator must be at 15% or below. Mine was at 50% (4448 miles). I showed him the email, and he said, "Oh, that's just a courtesy email". Some courtesy, I drive 40 miles (80 miles roundtrip) for an oil change AT THEIR REQUEST and get turned down. IMHO, A good customer service rep would have a) apologized, b) offered the free oil change, and c) made every effort to correct the emails that are obviously being sent out to customers automatically. For my first time dealing with their service dept and service manager, I was not impressed. read more

I am blown away by the friendliness and efficiency of Walsh Honda! From my initial inquiry on a used vehicle on the lot, Doris was eager to help answer any and all of my questions. She responded rapidly to all emails and calls. If she didn't know the answer, she was happy to find one and get back to me immediately. I drove 75 miles from metro Atlanta (with a plethora of Honda dealers) due to her willingness to assist me. Once I arrived I was greeted by Melissa who handled everything from there. She KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! All of my concerns were addressed and fixed to their best ability. The most personable sales person I have ever encountered. She made the car buying process enjoyable and quick! Melissa worked with me on the final APR with a smile on her face. Every aspect of the process was explained to me so well. When I met with the financing department, I just had to sign all the papers and was on my way. I truly cannot say enough about how awesome my experience was. Even with a Honda dealership 5 miles from my house, in the future, I will drive the 1.5 hours to visit the fantastic staff at Walsh Honda! Thank you all for the stellar service! read more

Took my car in for an airbag recall Monday afternoon; my car was running perfectly fine before I took my car here, when I drove it into the service drive and, when the car was taken into the shop for said recall. After 3 hours of waiting for my car to get finished (I was told it would only take an hour and a half AT MOST), I was approached by the service writer who had written up my vehicle and was told, "your vehicle is finished but it will not start." I was puzzled as to what had happened and why my car wouldn't start, I asked to go retrieve some of my belongings from my car and once in the shop, asked the service writer to try to start the car. The car started but died after just a brief second. I asked what they did to the vehicle during the recall procedure and was told, " nothing that would prevent the car from starting," and nothing further. I asked them to try and see if something had potentially been damaged during the recall procedure, I was told no. I was not given any paperwork once I was given my key, no explanation as to why my vehicle wouldn't run and no help at all in the following days of my car "being serviced". All I was told is there is no answer, if I wanted more information I would be charged a diagnostic fee to do so, and still no answer as to why I never received any paperwork (legal documentation) on what had been done to my car. After multiple phone calls with no helpful responses or answers only excuses, I had to have my car towed to another shop on THURSDAY to correct the issue. Still no answer for the paperwork; still no answer as to why my car does not start or what had been done to it. The service writer was acting very shady and didn't seem to know what was happening, rudely handed me the key and walked off, offered no further service or help following the discovery of the issue and no one has offered any help since, even after calling those of higher positions in the dealership concerning the issue at hand. I do NOT recommend having your car serviced at this dealership. Completely unacceptable. read more

I was interested in getting new tires for my automobile, I went to Walsh Honda in Macon but they did not have a good price but the customer service rep. told me if I could find comparable tires at a lesser price they would honor it. So, I did my research and found the same tires at a different dealer they did not have 4 tires however, so I called the Rep. at Walsh to ask if I had a better offer on the tires from another dealer, would he honor the price and he said that his GM authorized him to do so. When I got there about 40 minutes later, I was told by a different Rep. that I would have to talk to his manager. Long story short they did not want to honor the price but they could not argue that the tires were the exact same tires. So we went back and forth for a while until the manager finally agreed to honor what they told me in the beginning. I purchased a set of brand new tires for my car and the service was awful. The technician put 3 tires on correctly and one tire on backwards and splattered white goop all over the new tires and the rims on my car. They actually gave the car to me that way AFTER I had paid them. I brought the car right back, the tech. had left the premises but he was called back to correct his mistake. The tech cleaned my rims and all four tires and turned the backwards tired around. As I left Walsh Honda the car was driving rough but I was so exhausted from all the nonsense that happened before, so I went home got some rest and had to bring my car back the next morning. I showed the manager how rough the car was driving and he agreed to take a look and correct the problem. Even though the manager made every effort to correct what was done I was very disappointed by the service I received at Walsh Honda I hope they retrain their technicians to do a more thorough and professional job on the next customer. read more

I searched the internet/dealerships for the car I wanted. Found it at Walsh Honda. I was trading in a 2003 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson pick-up truck. This was not your everyday pick-up. This truck was like brand new in every respect.Only had 54,350 miles on it. Walsh Honda tried to LOW BALL ME AND OFFERED ME $10,000.00 as a trade. I told the salesperson before hand I would not take that for the truck. While at the dealership they would not make me and offer. Walsh called later after I left the dealership and made the offer. Would not make such a low offer to my face. So I left and went to Lowe Toyota where they had a similar car. Talked with the sales person there and within an hour we had worked out a deal that was suitable for both sides. Lowe Toyota got my business because they earned it. If you want to buy a really nice Harley Davidson Pick-up with low miles go on to Lowe Toyota. I feel they will give you a good deal. read more
