I have disabled children that I care for as well as my elderly mom and I was in desperate need of a vehicle at that time . I thought that I was getting a fairly decent vehicle . I know it's used and things can go wrong so I wasn't nitpicking . The car wreaked of marijuana he said no problem I'll clean it while I was doing the paperwork they were cleaning the vehicle and told me that they would replace the tires that were bald I mean wires exposed bald . That never happened the first excuse was the tire shop next door didn't have any in and would have some the next day well that was early February the rims were damaged Beyond and I had to change the rims as well as the tires . They have three of the rims at their shop because I thought that they were going to fix the tire rods on my vehicle like they agreed the first couple of times they're never there when they say they're going to be there so the times was always an inconvenience for me . It is now May and I still don't have a tag . This will be my third temp tag . Then they say they text me around a week ago and said that they need a copy of my driver's license . Shouldn't they already have that? And when I went in for the second temp tag March 20th he said oh the paperwork should be ready within a week after giving me some drawn-out story . Paperwork still is not turned in and while I was there on March 20th why didn't you mention anything about a driver's license ? What I thought was a lifesaver is turning out to be a pure nightmare . I will never recommend them no matter how desperate you are I go with a company that has high ass interest rates before I choose them. They have played with my time, my money, and in my face long enough. Oh let me not forget they did clean the vehicle so that I didn't smell it when I got in . But the car still wreaked of marijuana every time I got out and got back in I have to have someone deep clean it I had to ride around with the windows down so that I didn't get a headache from the smell while in there I found a pack of rolling papers . I sent the picture of that to Fred. So so much for cleaning the vehicle. I have to rate them a one since it gives me no other option . But at this moment I'd rate them a negative Infinity

They don't actually do service on these cars before selling them to people...they just reset the battery so the warning lights on the dashboard don't come on when you first get the car. They don't disclose these issues at all and they will make it seem as if you're purchasing a car in perfect condition. This explains why my battery light turned on as soon as I drove out of the lot....not to mention the fact that within the first few weeks of having it, I had to constantly take it back to Carmax to get it serviced. Thank God they have that warranty that allows you to get free repairs for a certain amount of time (arguably the ONLY good thing they have going on), but even then, every time I took my car to get serviced, another issue arose. Issues that I had to deal with up until I got rid of the car. Engine stalling, battery issues immediately after they "put in a new battery," seat motor wasn't working....all within the FIRST WEEK of having the car (and I KNOW how to take care of cars as I've had cars in the past with no issues, so it definitely wasn't user error). I'm extremely disappointed. I regret ever purchasing a car from them. This car has given me hell since I got it.

Before buying, I paid over $200 for a pre-purchase inspection at Five Star Ford, where I was told the truck was 100% good to go with no issues. After the purchase, I noticed oil on the ground beneath the truck. Initially, I thought it could've been from something minor like a filter change, but when I brought it back to Five Star Ford, a technician outright confirmed in front of me that the truck was leaking oil and that this was observed the day of the inspection. Despite this, the oil leak--and apparently other issues--were omitted from the inspection report I paid for. I requested an updated inspection report from the general manager to reflect the oil leak and any other undisclosed problems, but he refused to provide one. It's clear to me that these dealerships worked together to push the sale while failing to document known issues with the truck. While the price was adjusted slightly after I initially mentioned seeing oil, I feel misled and disappointed by the lack of transparency and professionalism from both dealerships. I'd like an explanation for how this happened and what steps will be taken to make this right. Looks to be a reason this place is rated only 1.8 out of 5.
