I had a pretty decent experience here…read more First let me mention that it is against Georgia law for them to charge you any dealer fees on top of an advertised price. They can't legally charge you a doc fee or a $1900 paint protection fee if it's not in the advertised price. Only government fees can be charged on top of an advertised price. Now back to the review. The salesmen that I dealt with were very pleasant and energetic young men. The finance guy was super nice and also very pleasant. I even met the owner, young guy and nice. Unfortunately the manager tried to push some type of $1900 paint protection on us and also a doc fee. We didn't pay any of those fees. We did get a quality car below market value, we saved at least $5k over similar cars at other dealerships. It was early on a Saturday and their cleaning crew wasn't there but they told me to bring the car back anytime for a deep cleaning for free, it was already clean so I didn't feel like it needed it but I might take them up on it anyway. I was in an out with a used car at a good price in a very short amount of time. They have a decent selection of cars on the lot new and used. I'd give them a chance at selling me a car again because I really had a mostly pleasant, positive experience.

I find that I'm having to downgrade the rating…read more While the purchase experience was fine, and still is, 5 Stars, I've discovered a fee things that make me change it. One, while my Salesman has responded to my Emails about the car, he not only doesn't answer all questions asked (luckily, I resolved those on a Bolt Forum), he doesn't give a salutation in the Email. And, to me, that makes the whole experience less personal. In addition, the downgrade comes due to poor communication between the Sales, and Service Departments. When I bought the car on May 26, he told me that I'd have to bring the car in for service by Sept 15th. So, being someone who maintains his vehicles in good operating condition, I was a good boy, and made an appointment yesterday, for this morning. Turns out, I didn't need any service, as the car hasn't reached the point (not even tire rotation). You can read more about this in my review for the Service Department of Sutton Chevrolet.

The staff is all completely unprofessional all of the women can barely answer phones have nasty attitudes and get paid to do nothing I don't even know why they're there. Scott well yes you to death offer you vehicles that never show or even sell them from underneath you. Told me 2 grand down for a newer body style tahoe or suburban and then stopped answer my calls and gave me the run-around yet he continued to show me Vehicles over 200,000 miles barely running not safe can't pass a basic inspection I offered to trade in my 2011 Ford Expedition EL XLT King Ranch with 160,000 miles on it he marked my trade in at $7,000 and still continue to show me vehicles way over 200,000 miles beaten up barely running. And began to pressure and rush me into making a decision just to obtain my vehicle that he planned on selling for over $30,000 when I finally take the vehicle that was originally supposed to be the $7,000 trade in as my down payment he rushed me into signing paperwork and contracts and then had the audacity to ask me for another $1,000 on an older vehicle with what was about to be 200,000 miles on the dash. Never gave me the actual reason on why he lied about being able to put me in a newer body style Chevy Suburban Tahoe or Yukon my theory is that these trucks do credit checks and then they determine what they feel they want to put you in if you have a low score you get a high mileage vehicle . Told me the vehicle that I was getting was a 2012 as I'm signing the paperwork come to find out it's a 2007. Me being a certified ASE technician gave him an entire work up of things the vehicle needed in order to be a decent vehicle he told me that he would get me squared away and take care of all of my concerns which I already knew was not going to happen that way. Didn't even make it an inch out of the parking lot before the vehicle began stalling. Banging crunching thumping you name it. Wall symptoms that weren't there a week prior when I test drove the vehicle not only that the vehicle racked up way more mileage than when I test drove it because for some reason these Crooks think it's professional to drive their merchandise home and pick and choose whatever vehicle they feel like driving even if a deal is pending. When I realized that the shop was not going to abide by my list of mandatory fixes that they agreed to and even put in writing I told him that they need to give me my vehicle back because at this point they stole my vehicle from me. He was in such a rush to scam a customer that he mistakenly had my fiance who is the co-owner signed the vehicle over has the owner making the trade-in and sale illegal when I asked for my vehicle back staff told me that the car had already been flatbedded to their other location and another town knowing that couldn't possibly be true I was able to locate my vehicle in their back lot hidden and tucked away behind several other vehicles they told me that it was too late to give me my vehicle back up until the point where I had to call the police for my vehicle being STOLEN there are other dealerships like Car-Mart American Car Center and so on that offered me more as a trade-in and was able to put me in the vehicle I wanted even with my credit being challenged so that verifies the fact that THIS BUISNESS IS A JOKE. I will be coming for them legally as they ran my credit without my permission I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau because they're practices are unethical they put me in three loaner Vehicles off their lot within this time frame all over 250,000 miles and everyday I had to bring it back first vehicle leaked gasoline every time you put gas in it at the gas station which was a fire hazard the second vehicle stalled at red lights which was very dangerous and had a bad front end control arm ball joints the third loner had two seasons did not roll and drive and sounded like a jet plane or bad hubs all around ALSO NOT SAFE. I will be consolidating with my attorney over discrimination because I feel as if I was singled out and mistreated because of my parents credit score and sexual orientation THIS DOES NOT END WITH JUST A GOOGLE REVIEW . Don't even go to this place if you're desperate and it's highly unlikely that this place will remain in business in the near future -0 STARS ALSO STAFF AT BYRON ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AS WELL. Didnt want to put the work into the vehicle as the list was extensive they were hostile and overwhelmed. Also had terrible attitudes because prior going to the location on Mercer my first thought was Byron where the manager also said he can get me in the newer body style Chevy until he seen my credit prior to running my credit told me that approval and down payment does not go by credit so they weren't willing to do the work

There is plenty of seating inside of the fleet service building, drinks and eat machine are available just incase you get hungry. Plenty of parking upfront by the entrance to the fleet service building. How long is the normal wait to get your vehicle looked at? All depends on the current day and time you arrive with your vehicle it is best for you to drop off the vehicle just incase you do not want to wait for the vehicle to be looked at and to see what is wrong with it. If I had to recommend the fleet service center side of Jeff Smith Ford I definately will!

We were out of state on business until Friday... and arrived Friday for final purchase of our new truck!.... Manager went on a 10 minute story about how hard he worked- I interrupted and told my husband- "he doesn't have your truck".... Why waste our time... why not just call us and say there was a problem before we drive to your distant location... Promised and "located" another ideal truck, but it had to be delivered... "we could get it on Saturday!".... NOPE... closed Sunday, so 3pm on Monday we went! Truck was wrong COLOR, wrong PACKAGE...WAY LESS AMENITIES! Oh and had crushed Doritos in the back seats, a dent in the side and the truck bed was not coated...the list goes on..back seats not heated/cooled, the locked back compartment was not there, the generator not available.... Etc, etc. DEMANDED MY TRADE IN BACK! And guess what... after pulling out of the Jeff Smith Ford lot in Byron...my kid found 3 EXACT TRUCKS with requested amenities IN THE STATE WE ARE HEADING TO FOR THE NEXT MONTH! The manager talked a good game... tried to wow us with his "flight school", his "contacts" etc. ...but we don't care about that.... My family has had its own airplane, been to Marsh Harbor (Bahamas) which he bragged about, and my extended family had a house there! I don't give a crap about any of that! We own ALL OF OUR vehicles...and I was willing to buy a $100,000 truck outright!... we can trade in, and finance... but even if we don't, I can write the check and be done! My husband has worked his butt off for over 30 years providing for our family... he's had the "used" car, the "economical" choice, etc... It is time for him to get HIS IDEAL TRUCK! Pathetic that Jeff Smith Ford OVER PROMISED and tried to pawn off a SUB-par vehicle! Lack of communication, salesman "pitch" to try and redirect, all of it was BS! People with money rarely look like it... those that drip it are most likely in debt...can someone just shoot straight?

Well, first impressions mean a lot but I wasn't impressed. I walked in, it was rainy, it was in…read morethe afternoon but I was prepared to buy a vehicle THAT DAY for cash money. Maybe that's the problem. I shouldn't have told the guy/gal how I was going to pay. We'll see how it goes the next time I go there as this is going to be interesting. I have read the reviews here and will ask what they do to prep cars. I'll also check how many miles it take to trip that check engine light again. I walk in and it's rainy outside. I told him I was here to look at a specific model. He said it wasn't there. I told him the make, approximate mileage and the price range it was in. He ran cars in that price range and asked if I saw anything I liked. I told him right then and there, you're going too fast for me to look. He'd made the statement he didn't want to send me out on the lot if it were raining. Really? HE didn't want to go out on the lot if it were rainy. When he found I came in to look at a specific car, it wasn't there, he was ready for me to leave. Really? Does he not know how sales work? Sometimes it's you talk, find out what the customer wants the first visit a second time and then you make the sale? If I go back, I'll look for anyone but this idiot. The cars are behind a fence. They have an exit gate but ask you to go through the sales room. I get that, herd the fish into a narrow strip to pick them off. But, when I'm standing there for three minutes or more and no one comes up to me asking to help me, I'm going going out the door even though it's rainy to look at the cars. But, before I walked out, some employee came up to help me as described above. Again, I can't say enough that when he saw the vehicle I was wanting to look at wasn't there and found out I was paying cash money, he was ready to move on. They have a set price that is what you see is what you get. Other dealerships have a price that you can slightly bend but add on the doc fees. This place doesn't add doc fees. They add ATTITUDE FEEs. While we can track exactly how much the docs are, the ATTITUDE FEEs from this place are unlimited. Do they sell good cars? He mentioned I could try it out three times. Why would I need to try out the same car more than once? Was he saying that I can try out three different cars on their lot and that's it? Really? If you get three bad apples, I don't think I'd be coming back to bite a forth time. Hey, those stupid doc fees are looking pretty good.
