    Do NOT get your car serviced/diagnostic here. You have been warned! I have 2013 Acadia that had clunking/popping noise when making turns at low speed. I originally took my car to Mavis who attempted to fix the problem. After multiple parts and ~2k at Mavis, the problem persisted. I thought to myself, well, it's time to take it to the "experts". I explained the history to the service advisor and after a few days in the shop, they called me with their diagnosis. Now, this is where problems started. First, the quote included a $209 diagnostic fee which I was told when I dropped off the car would be "included in the price" if I proceeded with work. This wasn't true. I didn't make a fuss about this fee because they did spend their time figuring out what was wrong with my car. They said I needed a front motor mount and a "dog bone" motor mount. That cost $1400 with the $209 diagnostic (itemized). I agreed to the work. Two days later, I receive a concerning call saying that I needed to come to the dealer right away. I asked if everything was ok and was told "no". When I got to the dealership, the service advisor brought me back to the bays and showed me the parts they replaced. Both motor mounts looked to broken and wanted to show me they truly needed to be replaced. But, unfortunately, this did NOT fix the noise. I asked what was the cause. The service advisor then provided me a service bulletin from 2019 which explained it was the rack and pinnion bushings and the entire rack needed to be replaced for $1800. This a huge problem. I took it to the dealership with the expectation they would review all bulletins BEFORE replacing any parts. When I asked the advisor why this service bulletin was originally ignored, I wasn't provided an explanation. I asked if they would discount the the subsequent repair because I replaced parts, upon their diagnostic, that didn't fix my problem. My service advisor got her manager involved at this time. I spoke "Ryan" who said he would look over the bill. My service advisor called me back (the same day) and said the bill is $3200-effectively taking off the diagnostic. I said I would be willing to pay $2100 (which is around the price other shops in the area charge the job + their $1200 for the work already performed). I was flat out told the price was $3200. -I told the service manager I would be writing this review. She called me back saying she would speak to a manager higher than Ryan. That manager came back with a quote of 2729 before taxes. The only reason for the two stars is because the service advisor tried to help me out and went above her direct supervisors head to try and help me out and I wasn't charge for the diagnostic. Overall, this entire experience left me $1200 poorer. Also, generally speaking. the service advisors in the bays act like you don't exists when you drive/walk in. It's as if this dealership doesn't care about customer service or standing behind their work.

I came really early on a Saturday and none of the detailers were around yet, and Virginia and Scott both volunteered to wash my car! As far as I know they figured something else out to get it clean but they seemed flat out determined at the time. It was a nice gesture. I love my new car and have 0 complaints! Very poor customer service I understand a sale is a sale in their eyes but to make it worse I received a email that morning at random saying all cars had been marked down to make room for new inventory (reduced around $300) why would you do that when I never had tried to discuss price I was willing to pay asking price just very poor customer service will not recommend business for anyone

Brad Boone recently had his 2013 Toyota Tundra towed to Lowe Toyota's service department after experiencing starting issues. He had already replaced the neutral safety switch himself (with input from actual mechanics), but it clearly needed to be adjusted or reinstalled correctly. We told the service advisor, Gina (#1548), exactly what was done and exactly what we wanted/needed: check the switch, adjust it, and if needed, replace the computer stent. Gina said they'd perform a diagnostic for $140. Fine. Less than an hour later, she called back and said it "had nothing to do with the neutral safety switch"... but also said it did need a slight adjustment (so... which is it?). Then she dropped a $1,400 starter replacement quote on us. She claimed the truck was immobile and had to be "pushed into a spot"--so we arranged another tow to get it out of their shady hands. Here's where things get insulting: when we arrived to meet the tow truck, the Tundra started perfectly. No delay. No struggle. Just started right up. Gina never bothered to mention that the truck was now driveable. She just let us think it was dead. Why? Because they were hoping we'd blindly authorize a $1,400 starter replacement we didn't need. We drove straight to Advance Auto Parts. Had a real diagnostic run on the spot. Guess what code popped up? The neutral safety switch. That's it. No starter issues. No mysterious "mechanic-only" codes. Just exactly what we suspected in the first place. The fact that Lowe Toyota tried to upsell a totally unnecessary repair, misrepresented the status of the vehicle, and failed to communicate basic facts is unethical at best and fraudulent at worst. This kind of dishonesty is why people don't trust dealership service departments. Save yourself the stress, money, and insult--take your car somewhere honest. Lowe Toyota is definitely not it.
