last year my daughter-in law and my son were looking for another vehicle. She found one at this car lot (i use the words car lot very loosely). She wanted it so we went to look at it. This salesman I can't remember his name he sounds Jamaican he said he was leaving to go see his family that day overseas. The car a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse appeared nice clean and well taking care of. He said nothing was major issues So she took his word (they are deaf by the way) We paid $8000 cash for it and left. She went back the day after for something and he was there. Within a week we found out why he was leaving that day. It started missing. So she tried contacting him many times with no reply. She even went there to se him and there he was .That sure was a fast trip overseas. Make a long story short. till this day 7-11-2026 . we have had to put new brake shoes and rotors, new ac pump $3000 worth of top engine work, new radiator, transmission work, new oil pressure sensor and pigtail because it had a 2 prong instead of a 3 prong. funny it should have showed up on the diagnostic when he said they inspect their vehicle before putting them on the lot. a lot of bull if you ask me.to this day we have around$12000 to $13000 in that 4 wheel crap. But it is in very good condition NOW no thanks to 5 star .I am a 32 year old retired state police officer and have never seen as dishonest people in my life. Five Star Chevrolet GMC and Five Star Ford of Warner Robins in Warner Robins, Georgia, I want to share my frustrating experience with purchasing a used Ford truck. Before buying, I paid over $200 for a pre-purchase inspection at Five Star Ford, where I was told the truck was 100% good to go with no issues. After the purchase, I noticed oil on the ground beneath the truck. Initially, I thought it could've been from something minor like a filter change, but when I brought it back to Five Star Ford, a technician outright confirmed in front of me that the truck was leaking oil and that this was observed the day of the inspection. Despite this, the oil leak--and apparently other issues--were omitted from the inspection report I paid for. I requested an updated inspection report from the general manager to reflect the oil leak and any other undisclosed problems, but he refused to provide one. It's clear to me that these dealerships worked together to push the sale while failing to document known issues with the truck. While the price was adjusted slightly after I initially mentioned seeing oil, I feel misled and disappointed by the lack of transparency and professionalism from both dealerships. I brought my 24 GMC Denali Ultimate to fix an error with the video camera system...Truck only has 4200 miles...I called my service attendant Brandon after 2 days and he told me that they were still running diagnostics and they could not pinpoint the problem. I called again on day 6 as I had not gotten any updates, and received the same reply. On day 8 I came by the service area to check on my vehicle and he gave me the same answer. On day 10 I called to check status of my vehicle again and he told me they were still running diagnostics. I told him I was coming to retrieve my vehicle as I did not believe they were working on it at all.. I talked to Jennifer Readett (customer relations) when I arrived and she went to see if she could rectify the situation. I told her I would leave my vehicle in her hands since I never could get a true answer from Brandon. I went back home and maybe an hour later, Jennifer called and notified my that my vehicle was repaired. She (Jennifer Readett) gets an OUTSTANDING review from me but the dishonesty from my agent left me appalled. I figured I would get better service since I bought my last couple of trucks from 5 Star. The repair of my vehicle was a reset of the video system and took less than 30 mins...My vehicle should not have been in the shop for 10 days. read more

I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation yesterday. When I got there I stated I had an appointment I had to be at in a few hours. I was told I'd be out in plenty of time. After 2 hours, I text them that I had to leave in 15-20 min and if my car would be ready. They asked if I needed my car and I said, yes. A guy brought my car around, dropped my keys in my hand then walked away without saying a word. Mind you, at this time I didn't know what was or wasn't done. I stood there feeling really awkward. The gal that checked me in said I could leave. I had to ASK if anything had been done to my car. I was told No. That's when I left. I had to drive 30 min to this appointment. I went home and for the first time in many years, I made an appointment for an oil change at a local car repair/tire place. Not going back to this dealership unless I have to. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I bought a car last year from them and had a horrible experience from their service department. We then decided to look for a truck as well. Appointment was made for us to come test drive and look at the vehicle. Car was sold the date of our appointment. No apologies given. Also spoke to their customer relations manager, Stephanie Brown, who told me I couldn't use a "military spouse card" and that it's "old" to do that when I mentioned sharing my experience with other military families who are here and warn them of my experiences with the dealership. Gonna do an updated review, although note that this only covers the service department. Had to get a valve fixed on the internal-combustion part of my Volt. It was going to be an expensive repair, so I asked them if they could help me out on the bill. In the end, when I asked them, they reduced the price of the repair by half. I guess I can throw my review in with the rest and hope others consider and go to an honest business. My 2014 truck is having engine issues and has high miles. They knew about the high mileage when I brought it in for a diagnostic. We had already checked what codes it pulled and knew it was misfiring. We already had done a tune up. We were there for someone who could actually fix the truck, you would think. They tell us they can do a diagnostic for a total of $220.00 and if we get a repair with them, it gets subtracted from total cost. Anyhow, they do their "diagnostic", call us back later, stating $16,000.00 for an engine replacement because of the high miles or to replace the engine lifters $7,000.00 But they also couldn't do a solid check because of the high mileage, and the liability if they were to look further. Both of these quotes are absolutely ridiculous. And neither did they do a quality check. So they charged $220.00 to use a code reader and not be able to do the repair..... Avoid! read more

Do NOT get your car serviced/diagnostic here. You have been warned! I have 2013 Acadia that had clunking/popping noise when making turns at low speed. I originally took my car to Mavis who attempted to fix the problem. After multiple parts and ~2k at Mavis, the problem persisted. I thought to myself, well, it's time to take it to the "experts". I explained the history to the service advisor and after a few days in the shop, they called me with their diagnosis. Now, this is where problems started. First, the quote included a $209 diagnostic fee which I was told when I dropped off the car would be "included in the price" if I proceeded with work. This wasn't true. I didn't make a fuss about this fee because they did spend their time figuring out what was wrong with my car. They said I needed a front motor mount and a "dog bone" motor mount. That cost $1400 with the $209 diagnostic (itemized). I agreed to the work. Two days later, I receive a concerning call saying that I needed to come to the dealer right away. I asked if everything was ok and was told "no". When I got to the dealership, the service advisor brought me back to the bays and showed me the parts they replaced. Both motor mounts looked to broken and wanted to show me they truly needed to be replaced. But, unfortunately, this did NOT fix the noise. I asked what was the cause. The service advisor then provided me a service bulletin from 2019 which explained it was the rack and pinnion bushings and the entire rack needed to be replaced for $1800. This a huge problem. I took it to the dealership with the expectation they would review all bulletins BEFORE replacing any parts. When I asked the advisor why this service bulletin was originally ignored, I wasn't provided an explanation. I asked if they would discount the the subsequent repair because I replaced parts, upon their diagnostic, that didn't fix my problem. My service advisor got her manager involved at this time. I spoke "Ryan" who said he would look over the bill. My service advisor called me back (the same day) and said the bill is $3200-effectively taking off the diagnostic. I said I would be willing to pay $2100 (which is around the price other shops in the area charge the job + their $1200 for the work already performed). I was flat out told the price was $3200. -I told the service manager I would be writing this review. She called me back saying she would speak to a manager higher than Ryan. That manager came back with a quote of 2729 before taxes. The only reason for the two stars is because the service advisor tried to help me out and went above her direct supervisors head to try and help me out and I wasn't charge for the diagnostic. Overall, this entire experience left me $1200 poorer. Also, generally speaking. the service advisors in the bays act like you don't exists when you drive/walk in. It's as if this dealership doesn't care about customer service or standing behind their work. read more

She was never told it can take 24-48 hours for a diagnostic until she called after 4 pm. She then called again and they told her the car hadn't even been touched. She decides to go pick it up since she didn't know she would be without a car for a possible 48 hours. I drop her off and Eric decides to be condescending and rude. For everyone that knows me can attest that I'm pretty easy going and it takes a lot to get me angry. My recent purchase from Five Star Chevrolet in Warner Robins Georgia was pretty painless. My salesperson Byron and the Five Star courtesy driver were phenomenal!!! My issue is with the service department. When I first took my car back for warranty work I had a stabilitrak light to illuminate. Once they finished the warranty work my car had just sat for over a week without anybody touching it and with no communication from the service writer. I, as a customer, had to spend a lot of time walking back and forth between used car sales and the service department to get anything done. Then yesterday I took my car back up to the service department for a rear wheel hop at highway speeds. I was informed that I had to take my car down to the used car repair shop. They took the rear wheels off my car, balanced the tires and gave the car back to me. The wheel hop still persist. I went back to the used car induction building and they said I had to go up the hill to the regular service department for them to put it on their machine and try to balance the rear wheels. Received the car back, still had wheel hop. I was informed that I had to go talk to the used car guy because the service writer couldn't help me so here I go again communicate between the managers of this dealership. I was informed when the tires came off the balance machine they were perfectly balanced so I had an issue with my car. I was informed that the 2,000 mile 90 day warranty doesn't cover anything except for what's under the hood that oil touches. They told me I could pay for a diagnostic or I could take it elsewhere. I took my car to discount tire and discovered that the certified technicians at five Star Chevrolet counterbalanced the wheels and it was out of balance. So a word to the wise, if you buy a car from these guys do not expect phenomenal support from the repair shop. read more

not happy at all. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership thinking they would be reputable. Service after the sale did nothing to change my opinion of the car buying experience. In other words you will get hosed and screwed. The day after I bought the vehicle it needed a jump to get started. I simply thought that I had left a light or something on and it had caused a drain on the battery. Over the resulting next couple of weeks several more jumps were required. I became increasingly more suspicious and had the battery tested. The test showed that the battery was indeed bad. I didn't think it would be an issue as at this point I had barely had the vehicle just over two weeks. I finally bring it by the dealership and their solution was to pay for half of a replacement battery. That is unacceptable. I purchased this vehicle in good faith that everything was in good working order, a 2019 Toyota 4runner. There is no way any customer should be expected to pay for half of the replacement cost of a vehicle that gnu from a dealership this large that prides itself as being a reputable dealership in any community. I was told by Chris Matthews that the bend in my wheel would not affect my driving or the BRAND NEW tire I had purchased from them. I had a slow leak in that tire that turned into a fast leak. unfortunately, I was not on a road where I could pull over immediately. I had to drive about half a mile with a flat, which ruined my brand new tire. I had to purchase a new one, and when I took it to a shop (not "Five Star" Chevrolet) to get the new tire put on the old wheel, they were hesitant to even put it back on my truck, because the wheel was so bent. They told me that was where my problem was, I mentioned that the dealership that sold me the brand new tires ASSURED me that it wouldn't be a problem, but I have it in writing that it most definitely caused it. I didn't realize that when I bought my vehicle from 5-Star Hyundai, I'd be dealing partly with this dealership. Apparently, this dealership handles all of the registration services for the 5-star network in the area. I bought my vehicle months ago, and I still don't have my license plates!!! We're a military family, and I was assured before I ever discussed purchasing a vehicle that they could handle the registration of my vehicle. Five star Hyundai sloughed off this responsibility to 5-star Buick/GMC, who decided to slough it off to me! So if you're a military member, steer clear of this place (unless you enjoy spending hours filling out paperwork, and dealing with out-of-state DMVs). I tried to contact the customer relations person (Kay) but BIG SURPRISE she blew me off too, and never returned my call. Bottom line: If you're military, avoid this place like the plague! Took my truck to this 5 star Chevy dealership (more like 1 star) for a poorly running engine. Was told I had a bad fuel injector. Replaced ALL fuel injectors but upon getting in the truck and starting it to leave the dealership, the engine was still running rough and no different than when it was dropped off. The check engine light was still on. Did they even test it once it was "fixed" to see if it was running better? Who knows. Disputed the credit card charge and returned several months later to purchase a fuel cap and engine shield. Was then told by the manager that they were not willing to do business with me because I disputed the credit card charge after they charged me for a repair that did nothing to fix my vehicle... as any logical person would do. After this headache of a visit with "Five" Star Chevy, the vehicle was taken to another mechanic who diagnosed a separate component and subsequently fixed my truck. Very rude staff, unaccommodating, and very unreasonably expensive to say the least. Never acknowledged that they misdiagnosed the issue and never offered to make it right. Just a fair warning to anyone reading this. I was in Warner Robins working when my truck started acting up these people charged me over 3 grand to repair my truck which I was ok with and approved. But when I got my truck back and made it 4 miles down the road and it started the same thing as to why I took it there. Took it back and they said oh it needs this and that. Another 5 grand worth of work they wanted. Needless to say they can't help you when it comes to repairs. I should have read all these reviews before taking it there. I came here to order a Chevy part and get it installed. Well I ordered the part through the walk in and was supposed to be a gm product or I assumed it was. The part took two weeks to come in. I scheduled an appointment to get the piece installed. Well I took the day off work to bring my vehicle in. When I got there they told me they couldn't install the part because it was after market and no one's ever done it and there was nothing they can do. Purchased extended warranty and service/maintenance plans for my 2022 GMC 1500 Sierra Diesel Pick up. When I took to my local GMC service facility, they discovered that the 1st Mile Maintenance Plan (to cover cost of oil changes and tire rotations) had been incorrectly issued for synthetic oil changes and not for a diesel truck which resulted in charges for the oil change. I notified Five Star (via email since my phone calls were unreturned) of the error and requested it be corrected and asked that I be reimbursed for the charges. The plan document was corrected and sent to me by email but I was never reimbursed. Subsequent services have only been covered less than 50% of the charges. Phone calls to ask for explanation and clarification were never returned. read more

It's a 7 Eleven in there. Sodas ... refreshments... plus I just scan and I buy. Trusting people to pay ? Just wouldn't happen in Chicago. So ... we walk the lot and look at the new cars. She wanted to instead talk to me about her Rolex (clear sign she's ripping people off). Walked away and found the same car with the same package 8k lower in Atlanta. Don't be afraid to walk away from this place. Horrible service and I'm a 5x Chevy/GM/Caddy owner. Also refused to honor my employer pricing since I'm in healthcare even though they stated they did prior to me arriving to the lot. I wish zero stars was a thing!! They ran my credit 6 times-- 6 hard inquiries. When I talked to the sales agent, Kevin, he told me it was the finance department. When I sat down with the guy from the finance department he told me "that's what they do to get an approval"-- I had stellar credit. As he was reading off the pre-approval I signed, I asked if I could get a copy and he told me "no, it was sent to you by email with the rest of the paperwork." All he wanted to do was sell me an extended warranty.... I left pissed. I purchased my car in July, it is one week from October and I am still waiting on a part and my initial detail. Granted, I purchased an older car so I get the part being on back order but I get no correspondence or update from the agent unless I reach out. I have dropped my car off since purchase for more than 10 hrs but they never had enough time to get to the detailing. Maybe you would get better service when buying a new car, but they treated me like crap buying a used car. I've also been in the establishment several times in military uniform. When I purchased the car the AC was blowing hot and I was promised they would fix it-- but it eventually started working but is intermittent because sometimes it doesn't blow cold properly. I dropped it off twice and was told that since it was working at that time they would not do anything. I recommend to go to Joe at the other Five Star up Watson and he can get you any car off this lot too. I was in a rush to buy a car, so I didn't bother but I highly regret it. I went in because of a used car add for a 2015 Mazda CX-5 that was listed at $9,000. After test driving the vehicle, the salesperson took my information and said he would call me with a final price. He called me back with a price that was significantly higher than the listed price, $10,117.81. I asked him for a breakdown of the price. He sent me price breakdown that included a "Dealer Service Charge" of $699 and an "Electronic Filing Fee" of $129. I was curious about these fees and started googling the average Dealer Service Charge in Georgia. What I found was very interesting. If a dealership wants to charge a customer for an non-governmental fees, then that cost MUST be included in the advertised price of the vehicle. Governmental Fees such as tax, tags and tittle fees are not required to be included in the advertised price of the vehicle. This is all according to Georgia State Law. I spoke with the Sales Manager, Garry Britt, and informed him of this Georgia State Law and asked him to call me back with a revised price or to please point me to law that contradicts my research. Mr. Britt called and informed me that they would not lower the price of the vehicle nor would they remove the "Dealer Service Charge" or the "Electronic Filing Fee". That is illegal. I am glad that I researched it before buying the vehicle. Please do your research and know your rights BEFORE you walk through their doors. The following Monday, I received a call from the General Manager and he confirmed that I was correct. He asked what he could do to make it right, but at that point I wanted nothing to do with a business that didn't do the right thing from the start. read more

Currently awaiting a simple oil change. My appt was at 11:30. It's 1:15 and my lunch will end before I can get back to work. It took 8 minutes by phone for anyone to answer me, and then they didn't even recognize the make and model of the car which they sell in their lot. No one actively tried to help when I pulled up at 11:23 and it took until 11:40 for me to be helped. Here I sit waiting and knowing that I will have no time to get anything to eat before I have to be back at work. Maybe their sales dept is ok but their service is severely lacking. When you book a rental car to drive 400 miles to a town you've never heard of, in a State you don't live in, to purchase a new car, you have plenty of time to worry about all the things that could go wrong. Had we known how great our sales rep Kyle Horton was, we wouldn't have stressed on the drive up. We wanted a hard to find car with certain specs. The dealerships in my state either didn't have the exact model/specs or if they did, they wouldn't budge on the price. We expanded the search area and Five Star Chevrolet in Warner Robins, GA had the exact car we were looking for. I filled out the "contact us" page and Richard Coffey contacted me and assigned Kyle Horton to be my sales rep. Everything was done over text and a few phone calls. Within a few hours, I was able to secure a price that was lower than my "goal" price. Their price beat the hell outta anything I could get in my state. We took a chance, gave a deposit, booked a one-way rental car and left for Georgia the next morning. Any fear we had driving up about price changing, financing, the car itself was wiped out. This was the easiest, seamless buying experience ever. Kyle had all the paperwork ready, the price quoted was still the price when we arrived, the car was on site and as described, and I can't say enough about how easy and fast this was. We were worried about meeting with the Finance Rep. That never goes well. I was expecting the typical older guy with the mean expression, trying to upsell me, change the price or pull the old "you don't qualify for the interest rate we quoted you". Our guy was Matt Mcdaniel and he was not anything like your typical finance guy. He was funny, friendly, quick and had us out of there and on our way within minutes. Our drive home was amazing because we had just experienced something that doesn't happen at car dealerships. We were treated amazingly well, what was promised was delivered without a fight or hassle, and we were in and out in a few hours. This is only on the Service Department, specially Blake! He was phenomenal. I called to make an appointment on Tuesday and they got me in within 24hrs. Blake was busy with someone when I walked in but he greeted me and told me he would be with me momentarily. He took my information and before I even signed the paperwork to start the process to have my Suburban aligned, they worked my vehicle away. I was there for less than an hour. They were swamped. All of the bays were full and they had multiple cars waiting. Blake showed me the waiting room with excellent WiFi and free donuts. (I didn't eat the donuts, I don't care for Krispy Kreme!) he checked on me two times within the hour to make sure I was ok and gave me a status on my vehicle. Overall, I can't comment on anyone else at the dealership. However, I can guarantee if you call and get Blake for a service on your vehicle, you will be throughly impressed. read more

They offer a solution today. Go to the lot and look at another truck because they are to the point now they are frustrated and cant fix it right. What they really meant was hit the lot, pick another truck, run your credit, and have me PURCHASE another truck. I had my Sierra a couple of months!! Not swap it, finance another one!! 4 months old, pay another destination fee, taxes, etc.. Stay away from there, corrupt as they come, no honor on there end, just another sale instead. ** IMPORTANT ** STAY FAR FAR AWAY... This is by far the worst experience I have ever had working with a dealership after a purchase. Words can not explain my displeasure and it's a shame because the original visit and sale was great. However, I have been called back to the dealership literally 8 times to sign the same paperwork over and over because they kept losing it! Seriously? How do you keep losing the same freaking paperwork. You do this everyday and yet you can't manage the packet? Not to mention, they made me go to them, on my own time and gas to fix their mistake. Countless time wasted. Annoying and unnecessary calls about the same crap. How many times are you going to tell me "we're all set here, got what we need" and then call me to say otherwise. That's bad business. Lastly, I recommended an individual to purchase a vehicle from them which he did and the dealership has also seemed to lost, forgot, or discarded my referral. A month ago, Kim told me my check was gonna be mailed out. Yesterday, Deborah says nothing in the system, no check mailed and Brad (GM) won't approve. Go figure. Even when I show undeniable proof of the referral, they claim a simple policy procedure prevents them from paying out the referral fee now. Get the heck out of here. I'm sorry but this dealership is in need of some serious new management. Have all kinds of issues and ask to speak directly to the GM to get it worked out... yeah right. Guess he is too good to speak with a customer that just spent $80k on vehicles and pretty much sold another $50k vehicle for him. Why would he want to talk to me anyways, he already got my money. The service department is completely full of liars! I took my 2021 Acadia Denali in for 2 very specific electronic problems. They kept the car for 2 full days not counting the day I dropped it off and called me to come get it. I was told the car did not throw a code and 2 people drove it on day 1 and 2 people drove it on day 2 for 15 min. each and could not get the car to do the issue I had been having. When we went to get in the car it was currently doing our parking break issue: the electronic parking break sets itself even when parked on a flat surface. The mechanic that parked it said that he didn't set it. They kept it a third night and said they would have someone check the other issue ( voice activation assist just turns itself on without hitting any buttons) again as well as the parking break since that happened there. My husband saw the mechanic that parked it later that night at the gym. He told him after we left he heard the other guy say he didn't care if it did happen while there as long as no codes popped up they were not going to fix the car. He told him he would personally look at it and have a "master mechanic" check it out. The next day they called me to pick up the car even though my husband number was listed as the primary number. He said 2 more guys drove it and still could not replicate the issue. I asked him what did they decide on the parking break since that happened while there. They said the mechanic my husband spoke to at they gym told them not to even look at it based on the conversation he had with him. When I got home and reviewed my "dash cam" footage from the time they had it. They said it had been driven 6 different times. That 6 was actually only 2. It was never driven only moved in the parking lot on day 1. Day 2 it was driven about 10 min and the person was revving the engine and taking off in it (something we don't even do because my husband wanted a slow break in on his 1st brand new car). The 3rd day driven about 15 minutes and the person almost crashed it the collision avoidance system saved him from wrecking my $50,000 car that only has 4,000 miles on it. I have video of the car having the electronic issues, but Five Star does not have mechanics. They are nothing more that guys that can only do what the computer tells them to do and don't know how to diagnose an issue in their own. If I am already having these types of electric issues this early on what is coming down the line for this car. DO NOT buy a car from them or bring it here for repairs. I'm stuck with a car that is 50k and already giving me issues!!!! read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. This place is total shit. They walk around slowly sipping their coffee. Asking "has anyone seen you yet?" We answer yes with a persons name and boom another person come by "are y'all being helped?" Answer again. A total of an hour goes by and we're STILL waiting and another person walks by "their being helped" and the last person asked us again.. actually are we really whiny helped at all? Good experience this morning! Brought our truck in for its very first service. PROS: Immediately greeted & service initiated by Tina Hester. Comfortable customer lounge. Coffee brewed. NOT SO MUCH PROS: In and out in a hour & a half - not awesome. Even if I was fifth in line for service this morning, I don't consider that efficiency in service. Do not let this dealership attempt to "find you a better deal" through their financing. They send hard inquiries to every bank they can which causes your credit to massively drop. They will also make up stories about what is listed on the car fax, the one I got was that the rear end collision was actually just the store manager's dad running his wheel chair into the side of the car. He stated the car was his mother's car, but she had to sell it after his dad had a bad accident and was paralyzed. The car was not washed, nor was it cleaned, and the tires were bald. The manager said he could get new tires on there if I financed through them. If they are the only dealership with the car you want, get an offer from your bank, and be ready to walk away if they refuse to accept that is who will be financing your car . read more

I was pleasantly surprised that it only took one hour to service our vehicle. Oil and filter change, tires rotated, engine air and cabin air filters changed. The service advisor was very nice. I'll go back for future vehicle service. read more
