We broke down on our way to Arkansas. We were meeting up with family members also going camping in Arkansas. Our daughter and her family lives in Lizella right outside of Macon. Our truck pulling a 38' camper broke down. Engine lights flashing, gauges overheating. Well you get the picture. Our daughter-in-law recommended a place down the street from their house called Stephens Automotive. We came in limping late Thursday to Arrowhead campground. While we were parking our daughter-in-law went down the road to talk to Stephens. She explained our situation. We were to leave with the group at 5AM Friday. Surprisingly the owner/ manager said to come on over. They would look at our truck. You NEVER get a place to see you if 1- show up on short notice, 2- have deadline, 3- have never met or done business with, 4- around closing time and 5- present them with no chance of repeat business. These wonderful people took our truck, hunted down the parts we needed, and made repairs. In less than 24 hours we were back on the road to Arkansas. If you ever need mechanical assistance go to this local shop. The work is top notch. The staff from the front desk to the mechanics in the back are knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile on your behalf.

I paid cash for a car from this dealership. First thing first , the car I purchased along with…read moreanother vehicle I tried all had this weird sound when you cut them on. I was ensured that it was due to it being cold outside and the car warming basically some excuse but I still would have this issue with the car when I would let it sit for a while then turned it back on. The next issue was the same day of purchase the car was jerking and shaking , I had to cancel my doctors appointment and take the car back. I was told to leave the car with Paul and he would have their mechanic fix the issue. Next issue I was having issues with the coil pack and took the car to tell me exactly the issues and it was in both cylinders so I took the car back to them again and it was the same run around this time bring the car at lunch time and once again the mechanic would fix all the issues. The next issue was the biggest, my car began to shake and jerk as it did when I first purchased it, also it couldn't use the gas like normal to accelerate because it would drag as well. I would struggle to get up hills. The car cut off on me and would I would turn it back on it would keep shutting off with majority of the things highlight such as the battery , check engine light everything was lit. My daughter was in the car and we was almost hit multiple times trying to move it out of the road. I let the car sit over night at a gas station and when I came the next day it drove for about 2 seconds up the road it would struggle to get up the hill and shut off again right in the middle of traffic. The same day I went to them and Laura was very nasty the same one who sold me this vehicle she told me that it has no warranty , it is a cash car , the mileage was already high but still if you knew the mileage was high and it was going to soon have issues hmmm why would you sale it ! So you have knowledge of the car having issues. Paula even told me the day I had my coils supposedly fix I had a great engine. Avoid them do not believe the lies !

They took my car from me, and stole a few jackets that I would like to get back. The slobs can't stand it when someone stands up for themselves in the moment, and get scared when you do it, especially after they decided to run my name in the mud. Do not recommend. AVOID HIGHLY.
