To make long story short, got quick emergency repair of broken window while traveling through the area. Honest, efficient and fair price!

On Dec. 7th my husband dropped his work vehicle off to SCT Pit Stop in Forsyth, GA to have repairs to his front passenger wheel. SCT kept the vehicle over night and called the next day for pick up. My husband drove it home that night and drove to work the next day. During his commute, that has roads with speed limits up to 65 mph, he felt an abnormal swaying of the vehicle. He then tried to stop the vehicle and found the brakes had failed. There were three men in the car at this time going over 55 coming into a round about with a speed limit of 35 and school traffic.... WITH NO BRAKES TO STOP!! Before reaching the intersection the front passenger side tire came off and went under the vehicle, stopping it. My husband inspected the vehicle and found that SCT Pit Stop did not place the spindle axle back on the wheel. The tire was only holding on by a bearing. My husband then called SCT and the mechanic stated he was very sorry. The mechanic also asked my husband was he going to get it to the shop.. My husband and his work crew sat on side of the road for 6 hours going through 3 different tow truck companies.. The receptionist from SCT called and asked my husband when the car was going to come in. He explained he was having a hard time finding a wrecker in the area. She then said they had tow trucks that could have picked it up and he reminded her that no one offered that. He finally made it to SCT around 1pm- 2pm, he was respectful to the workers and did not cause a scene infront of other customers and did not speak about the incident to anyone else. The mechanic apologized and the receptionist offered her sincerity. My husband explained that he had two workers that rode with him and another one that he would have to still pay for their labor. It was not their fault they showed up to work and could not because of the events from the day. My husband also lost out on wages for the day and the next few days of going back and forth. The receptionist assured my husband that all of that would be taken care of. The mechanic mentioned that if they could not get the car back into running condition they would buy the car. It was also mentioned that the ori ginal $400 some odd dollars my husband paid on Dec 7th would be refunded... being that the SPINDLE AXLE WAS NOT PLACED BACK ONTO THE WHEEL! My husband left the car for repairs to give them the chance to fix their mistake. The shop called that day to explain all of the parts they were placing onto the car to repair damages. On Thursday they called my husband to pick the car up. He went to pick it up a little after lunch. He then asked the same receptionist about the reimbursement of the original $400 something, his pay he lost, and the labor he had to pay out of pocket for his crew of three others that missed a day of work because of this and had to all find a way home, nearly 50 miles away. She then told my husband he would have to take that up with the owner Jason St. Peter. She gave my husband his cell phone number. My husband then tried to call Jason St. Peter and left a voicemail. He took the car and left the premises. Upon leaving he noticed there was still noises and abnormalities that was not there before this incident. He turned around and took the vehicle back to SCT. They kept the vehicle until Monday 12/14/20. This has been a complete and absolute head ache through it all. Here we are at Christmas trying to piece everything together without a work vehicle for almost a week. My husband attempted to call the owner several times with no answer or call back. Today 12/16/20, the owner finally answered. The owner told my husband that he feels like he owes him NOTHING!

Not sure if that was really the case since the tires being replaced were the original ones that came with the truck. I was stunned when I got the bill for $220. They charged me about double what the sensors cost at $90 for the pair and $130 for the mount and balance of 4 tires. I have never paid over $70 for mount and balance of any tires. All in all it looks like I paid double for everything. I do not recommend this place

Thanks to Siri on my iphone we were directed to this place. In the past when I have been traveling, I have been taken advantage of , since the merchant knew I HAD to get home, and I had little to no other choice but to be price gouged. That was certainly NOT the case with Tire Mart of Forsyth! Angela not only went to meet another tire merchant half way to get the correct tires for my SUV, but he has a wonderful personality, and great guys working in the shop. They stayed late on a Friday to get my tires on and balanced, and checked the pressure in the other 2 that they weren't even responsible for! Don't let the "mom & pop" exterior steer you away from the most honest and fair people in the area!! Thanks you so much for the OUTSTANDING service!!!

I then spoke with his manager and was actively involved in negotiations on a car via the phone and text. I received a detailed pricing sheet and reached the point of closing the deal. Then both the salesman and the sales manger stopped answering my text and phone calls. There had been no pause on my end. They called or text and I was fully engaged. The deal was on going. They used me, while doing a deal, as leverage to sell to someone else. Completely unethical and lack of respect.

Fought tooth and nail to get out of the detail and into something more expensive. Made it happen. A year later 12/21/22 I take the truck to trade it in for a 2022 explorer. 90 days no payments and $500 military discount or rebate applied with $3000 down. 15 days later I get a text from Dana and he stars ford backed out of the 90 days and wants to resign a deal for 45 days because the finance agreement is not longer valid. Not to include, they did not pay off my truck and sold it to someone else!! I was completely de-horsed and they used a yo-yo affect!! I was laughed at in my face three times by Dana until I snapped on him and the new Gm that took over the same day I was called in, apologized to me for him. I have everything on recording too telling me they sold my truck, they dropped the ball, and if it was them they would drive my vehicle up to the dealership themselves and tell them to shove it if they were in my shoes..well I'm stuck with this vehicle, my truck is sold and not paid off and I was also promised a months check to offset the 90 days which still hasn't happened. 20 day pay off didn't happen and nor have I received a certified emissions sticker or certificate for my brand new vehicle. I was also told life time warranty with the Hutchinson advantage and come to find out after they bullied and pressured me into signing a new deal that it is for 144k miles and or 12 years!! Bait and switch artists!! I get no real reward or happiness in this situation and honestly ready to obtain legal representation!!
