I was not informed beforehand that discount cards were not accepted. I only found this out after my eye exam, which was frustrating and left me feeling like I had not been given all of the information I needed to make an informed decision about the cost. Especially, upon arrival I inquired of this more than once. I was also not told that the doctor would not be physically present in the office. The exam was conducted remotely, and there was noticeable background noise from children/others while the doctor was apparently conducting the appointment from home. For an eye exam that cost $120, I expected a more professional and controlled environment. Not to mention they didn't have trial pair of contacts like most other establishments I have utilized in the past. Had I known ahead of time that the doctor would be conducting the exam remotely, that discount cards would not be accepted, no trial pair of contacts were not available and what the experience would overall entailed, I would have definitely opted to cancel and go elsewhere before proceeding. My main concern is the lack of transparency. Customers should be given this information before the appointment and before being charged $120. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and does a better job communicating these details to patients upfront.

The office was clean, and the receptionist was warm, welcoming, and engaging. While I waited, she walked me through different lens and eyewear options, including Meta glasses. The doctor's assistant was just as personable and attentive to my concerns. Meeting Dr. McDuffy, made it clear that this caring approach runs throughout the team. I felt heard, and she explained my imaging in everyday language that helped me understand both the findings and the plan moving forward. Even checkout became a highlight! What could have been a quick ten-minute conversation turned into over an hour of wonderful conversation with Nicole, not because of a delay, but because the connection was that welcoming. Somehow paperwork or something was misplaced. I never received the courtesy of a phonecall, text or email to let me know. so now one of the associates had to retrace my lenses and wound up putting them in reversed without realizing it. After getting that taken care of I was PROMISED that my new lenses would be ready by Tuesday or Wednesday. Promised! Again I waited until Saturday. Again no phonecall, no text message and NO LENSES!!
