i have to say my first visit went well, but when i got my new glasses about a week later i…read morecouldn't see anything at arms reach. i took the glasses back and explained, The staff ordered some new lenses and i paid for them. About two weeks later the lens's came in and i still haven't been able to get them put in my frames ( got them at pearle to) The Office in Cleveland TN closes at 4 i was instructed i had to be there 30 min prior to closing at 4:30 i don't get off work until 4 so that's impossible. So i tried stopping by on Saturday. No lab techs work on Saturday, Now I'm trying to get my and the insurance companies money back but its past 30 days so there are no refunds even tough i have been trying for well over a month. if your script is right i'm sure the experience will be a good one. If not expect trouble, they wont see you the same day after your first visit and if you work then your just out of luck unless you want to use a vacation day or sick leave if your company offers it. The staff is friendly but a nice staff doesn't replace a $400 dollar pair of useless glasses. Update: i finally was able to have the lenses put in my frames at Pearle, and i have to say there near perfect. Pearle says their adding staff so that folks who work the same hours there open can get their glasses in a more timely manor and i hope so. After a took a day off to tie up so loose ends including my glasses i was more than pleased with the result. If they truly have changed their policy, they may have close to a great experience when getting glasses or contacts. My best advise is if you have to have bifocals go for the lenses without lines. After one of their staff explained and i was able to get the new lenses she was right, and it made a world of difference. The staff maybe should explain how things work a little better when buying glasses. Then if people are like me and willing to pay a bit more they would get it right the first time and provide a 5 star service. Good Luck to the staff at Pearle they work hard i'm sure and deserve the credit for doing a great job in the end. Update: After i broke my glasses i went back to Pearle, my frames were not repairable and i have to say i was expecting a mess. But the young women who helped was professional, she went out of her way to help me get new frames and had my lenses installed in just a few minutes. i was very impressed with their service since my first visit. This a group that i can say at least pays attention. I noticed while i was there a nice selection of Oakley frames and lenses having had some of these in the past I'm looking forward to having some in the future. If you enjoy the outdoors Oakley is by far the best pair of glasses i have ever had. Go check them out you won't be sorry.

The best experience I have had at an eye center!…read more The people were all fabulous, they had everything from my online submissions in order, very easy yet thorough exams, fabulous professionals, and a great selection of affordable eyewear. This place is one of the few to actually be thorough and prepared for their clients. They had all the information I had submitted in advance via their online forms. This is something most places fail at. The people, from start to finish, were absolutely wonderful. They are knowledgeable, professional, kind, and fun (yes, fun!) to visit with. They make sure all your questions are answered and you leave happy with every aspect of you visit. In addition to the wonderful people, there is also their wide variety of glasses to choose from. I was able to select three pairs of glasses--two of which were designer--with an array of lenses features (blue light, scratch guard, etc) for under $650 without vision insurance. This is great considering the last pair (just one pair) of designer glasses I had purchased elsewhere were over $550 and had issues. The location is clean, pleasant, and easily accessible. This is definitely a location I felt very comfortable visiting. I have walked into other locations and not gotten the most welcoming feeling but the Hixson location is a rather different story altogether. Definitely my new go-to place and location for all my glasses and contacts.

We were assisted by a very kind man whose name is Duane. He assessed the glasses and was able to take the stems off of another pair of frames and replaced not only the broken one but the other one as well so that they matched. We didn't have to wait at all and he was able to repair them in a very short amount of time. The cost was only $20. I can't tell you how friendly and accommodating Duane was. We were on our way in less than 30 minutes. Thank you very much for your kind and helpful service. PO by w to
