He threw away a proprietary screw that matched the rose gold finish of the frames even though it wasn't the problem. After doing the bare minimum, he told me I would need to order a brand new pair...which was definitely not true. After a visit to the good optometrist, they were confused why the child would suggest the need for new frames. Probably because he was a child and didn't know better. The worst and weirdest part: while I was in the store being told nonsense by a checked-out teen, someone walked in with a conceal carry weapon on his hip, looked at us, and walked out. The kid said, "that's the second time today someone with a gun has walked in and out like that." ?????????????????????????????????????????????? No matter how desperate I am, I will never come back to this or any other Visionworks location. Go to a local optometrist instead.

I am returning to Dr Bierman, because I am confident in his ability to provide me with appropriate eyewear...his skills to far beyond any vision care I have ever received in the past.

The people who we interface with when ordering glasses are no trained properly and are not Optometrists. When I picked up my glasses the vision was blurred. I told the person and she told me, "No it is not". The person did zero adjustments on the frame fitting, proper alignment of lenses, etc. She just walked away. They can just blame the problem on someone outside the office. The premium Essilor lenses provide much less vision detail as standard lenses. This is not an ophthalmologist office.

I came in for a contact check up with the doctor's office located on site. I brought with me a pair of Oakley sunglasses that I purchased through the shop 5 or 6 years years before. The arm sleeves that go over the ears were peeling apart. I had been told before that the sleeves were no longer available in that style of glasses. I asked them the name of the style of glasses so that I could try to find them online. She asked if she could see them and asked me to stop back before I left. She came over to the waiting area five minutes later with my glasses all fixed up, arms and nose pieces replaced and polished to a shine like new. No charge! Highly recommend to do your eye wear shopping here. They take good care of their customers!

My insurance will not cover a new pair until February 2026, so we have to pay for them out of pocket. We went into Lenscrafters in North Wales to get a price on a single vision pair of lenses with a set of frames I already had, because we thought they still had a quick processing. They quoted us over $600, with a 10-12 day turnaround time, just for lenses. We walked back out. Their attitudes gave us the impression that they did not want our business. America's Best quoted us around $200, with new frames, high impact lenses, and anti glare coat, but unfortunately could not guarantee they would be completed before my surgery, otherwise we would have purchased from them. Pearl Vision was gracious enough to recommend Plymouth Opticians, which is one of the only places in the area that still has an onsite optical lab. He sat down with us, went over the most affordable options, and said he could have the glasses done before my surgery. I will have a new pair of glasses by Tuesday, they have a three month window if the prescription needs to be tweaked, at no charge (unless the lens requires a prism, then it was $25 at most), and they were around $300. It pays to shop around for the best prices and service, especially if you have to pay out of pocket. I would suggest NOT going to Lenscrafters unless you are absolutely desperate, and have a ton of money to burn.

The prescription expired 11/19 and "according to state law" LensCrafters cannot instal new lenses. I had my 3 prescription old glasses with me to make sure I get different frame this time but I left the office without getting any glasses even if my numbers were changed. No proper explanation of my eyes evaluation. Not a single question like "do you have any other problem/issue with your eyes or vision?" Less then 10 minutes and handed me over the new proscription paper and done. Even if there was only one person there at that time which was me. No other patient was there. I want to buy glasses from there but I thing now I will use the proscription and buy it from somewhere else where people are interested to show me some frames AT LEAST.
