Richard and the staff at Spectrum is unmatched; pretty much unheard of elsewhere in the healthcare field.

The intake people are nice and patient. Listen to patient when they had questions…read more They also have the optical section, I believe you need to have an appointment. The one lady that assisted me on 1/15/24 with my optical problems with my glasses and sunglasses , did an excellent job on fixing the problems with my Maui Jim's and my other 3 eye glasses. I was very happy with my service. The place is very clean. I highly recommended this eye place

I have been to this office for eye exams and most recently new eyeglass ordering. I was more than…read moredisappointed when the optician failed to pull up my eye insurance coverage for 2 plans and only did one, the cheaper plan. She went thru the options and prices. totaling almost $700.00. I left the office and went home and reviewed my vision plans. I noticed she failed to pull up benefits for both plans, missed the VSP coverage which is by far the better coverage. I returned and pointed out the error and she initially pushed back on any oversight or mistake on her part. But I held firm and she finally acquiesced. The coverage under vsp resulted in my out of pocket for the same glasses and options was reduced to $190.00. I recently returned to the office to pick up the new glasses. Had a different optician. He was quite laid back and did not take any direction is assisting me thru the new glasses, how well they fit, whether they were a good size for my face etc. I instead had to step up and ask... so what do u need me to do? Oh read this card and see how well you can see... OK. anything else?? No not really, so I took it upon myself to stand up and look around the room and check far vision, reading signs and print around the office etc. He was quite unhelpful and really disengaged in the process. I have worn glasses since age 12. I have had many new optician experiences, this by far rates among the lowest in my expectations, quality and thoroughness and simple guidance and help.

I've been under the care of three different doctors here and I must say I like it very much…read more I feel super cared for and I feel that the doctors and staff are so caring & knowledgeable. I came for dry eyes and they used all sorts of technology to look at my eyes, determine my diagnosis & and gave me a plan to healing. I trust my eyes in their care.

Recently I picked up my new glasses. From the moment I put them on I suspected there was a problem…read more They gave me severe double vision. The girl told me to wait and put them on the next day since I had been wearing my other glasses. I ignored that advice and put them on when I got home. After 4 hours of torture, I took them off. The next morning I tried again. I wore them for several hours, but had to change to my old prescription when I drove as the double vision made it unsafe. I called and was told to wear them for at least a week. I tried to explain how bad it was and that it was dangerous, but the sweet girl just kept saying, "I understand," and not inviting me to come in. After a couple more hours of hell, I looked closely at the lenses of my old vs new glasses and there was a definite difference. I called back, got another girl who this time gave me an appointment. When I arrived I got the same girl who helped me the previous day. She is the reason I am writing this review. Unfortunately, she never said her name. When I explained that I was having a serious problem seeing out of the glasses, her attitude became rude and dismissive. She said, "Weren't you just here yesterday?" in and angry tone. I explained how bad it was and tried to show her the difference in the lenses. I said, " There should be a prism in the lenses." She snapped at me, There IS a prism in them!" I held my ground while she searched her computer for what I do not know. She seemed intent on proving me wrong. I asked if there was a machine she could use to check the prescription and see if the prism was correct. She finally went back to look. Fortunately Glenn appeared at that point (if you go there, insist on having him help you with your glasses) after a while, she came back and told me Glenn said they were sending the glasses back to the lab. I asked if they had the prism in them and she replied (I kid you not!), "I don't know. I don't know how to check." The story has a happy ending. The glasses came back with obviously different lenses and I could instantly see out of them. I wore them driving home. But the way I was dismissed and disrespected has shaken my faith in this practice. I have had more glasses than years that girl has been alive. Eye glasses serve one purpose - to help you SEE. Brushing off a patient and telling them to wear glasses for "at least a week," is dangerous!
