Dr. Molly Tipton was my technician; she said they were short-staffed that day and she didn't normally do that job, but she was wonderful nonetheless. Dr. Rich McCurdy performed my exam and was very thorough, friendly yet professional. Afterwards, a lovely young woman named Maria helped me pick out some super cute new frames, and even made sure that the frames I picked were fully covered under my insurance! Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this clinic!

As an update to my 2023 appointment for new glasses: I recently had an eye exam at another facility…read moreand was given a new prescription that was supposed to be a minor tweak on my current glasses. I compared the new prescription to my latest prescription and it seemed more like a major change instead of a minor adjustment. Not being an expert, I went ahead and ordered the updated lenses from Rome Eye Care. When they came in and I put them on, the vision in my left eye was good but I could see better out of the right lens without the glasses. I figured I just had to wear them for a while to get used to them. After two weeks of constant wear, my vision was not any better out of the right eye. I returned to Rome Eye care and they read the lenses on their machine and confirmed they matched the prescription I had been given, which I figured they did. They agreed with me that the new prescription was a major change from the lenses I have been wearing since 2023. They said I should go back to the original clinic and have them recheck my eyes. The original office I went to could not give me a repeat exam until June. I let Rome Eye Care know that I wouldn't be back anytime soon so they weren't expecting a quick return. The very next day they called and said that Dr. Reeves said for me to come in and he would re-examine my eyes. A new exam was performed and it was found that the prescription I was given by the other optometrist was over corrected for the left eye and was even a bit stronger than I needed for the right eye. During his evaluation he was able to correct my prescription to give me 20/20 vision. I know this is kind of long, but the people at Rome Eye Care center are really great. Based on how quickly they accommodated the exam and the expert treatment I received, I will probably use them as my primary for eye care.

The guy who owned the shop had on green funky glasses. He was able to help out. However later as it turns out my glasses still needs some more adjusting after I left. $30 dollars to bend the temples is kinda expensive in my honest opinion. Other than that he was a nice guy. He had walls of different unique glasses. Not too often you will find a place like this as opposed to common optical chains. I have the tendency to go to local owned glasses that carries different or off the wall type of glasses. If you looking for one of a Kind glasses at a local owned then that Guy's glasses is the place to go to!

With this they can see in your eye without causing those bad side effects! It's truly amazing. The eye exam itself was wonderful, any questions I had were answered kindly and thoroughly. I told her that I was looking for the Silhouette brand rimless frames and she said that they carried them so I asked if they could make the lenses wider to accommodate my wider face and she said she would check. She put me on hold then came back on the line and said that they could do it. So I said let's go ahead with scheduling me an appointment. The only date available was Christmas Eve at 10:15 so I agreed that would work. Fast forward to my appointment, my fiancé and I get there early so I can try on frames. We walk in and was greeted by the Hispanic girl that I spoke to on the phone. We told her that I was there for my appointment, she asked for my insurance card so I gave it to her. We started looking at frames for a few minutes and the Hispanic girl calls us back over to the front desk to ask us to sign the paperwork for the exam expenses. I politely declined to sign until I could double check and make sure they could accommodate my need for the extra wide lenses as I have ran into this problem at other doctors where they "lock me in" so I cannot go anywhere else to get my frames covered by my insurance. The older lady sitting next to her that took my email information (Holly) then rudely said that I had to sign and that I was responsible for the cost no matter what and that the frames were a completely separate thing. We calmly tried to explain our situation 2 more times, each time she got louder and more hateful, demanding that I go ahead and sign. All in front of the hispanic girl and another customer sitting right behind me. Finally, she told us to talk to the optician who was across the room. The optician was polite but told us they did not have a technician who could make custom lenses even though we were told they could over the phone. I told her how rude Holly was and she was very quick to apologize and said she would have a talk with her. On my way out the door I turned to Holly and said "ma'am, next time don't be so rude." Then she yells sarcastically across the building "Merry Christmas, Sir." I left and I will never do business here because I do not like liars, having my time wasted, and having to deal with rudeness on top of it all. Hopefully management will make some changes in staff.

No feed back for me and he actually appeared angry that I had a concern. He walked from the room without out a Thank you, or good bye'. He 'usually' would lead us to check out area. It took my husband and I just a second to gather my purse and walk to from by and he had left us. The receptionist area had two cubicles. The first one was unoccupied because she was assisting with front counter but returning to her area when she could. We were waiting on her. We did see the second cube until my husband walked to see about help. Lee never said first or second etc. he literally walked out of our exam room without saying goodbye , thank you for your business Nothing. My husband walked around to second cubicle area and found an attendant. We then Checked out. Very poor customer service. He was very rude and obviously irritated.
