This shop (a tad out of the way and located on a shady side street behind the Main Street area of downtown Calhoun) was actually recommended to my husband and myself by another local business owner. She thought I'd love it and probably be able to find something interesting for the house and she was right! This shop is filled wall to wall with scads of super cute home decor, accessories, boutique clothing g and jewelry. It has a little of this and that, in other words. It definitely my cup of tea and truthfully, I could have spent a fortune in here redecorating my place, but I showed restraint and curbed my impulse to shop a bit, so I would up picking up some moderately-priced decor items and let it go at that. I'm sure my husband was pleased by that! In the end, I grabbed some items with a distinct mercury glass motif and a candle. Everything was gorgeous, eclectic and most of it seemed moderately-priced, but the larger decorative accents and custom handbags were obviously pricier. The lady the owns the store was super nice and helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Next time I'm in town (my family lives nearby), I'll be certain to come back for another shopping trip and this time I'm gonna delve into the clothing and accessories section a tad more. It looked super eclectic when I scoped the racks, but my eye was drawn more to the decor side of the boutique. Though I didn't splurge that much on this trip, I did come away with some interesting ideas for redecorating and updating my house, so that's awesome. The store is a decorator's paradise chock full of great design inspiration. It felt like I walked into a layout for Domino or Elle Decor magazine. Great selections and first rate service.

I was immediately drawn in by the holiday décor which was warm and inviting and definitely captured the spirit of Christmas. There was something interesting for every aesthetic, (casual to more formal). If you are into sign art, this is your store! They had great signs with funny messages such as my favorite which said" I'm not bossy, I just know what you should be doing". I made sure that my husband read this one because he sometimes gets it confused. I also loved the one that said " I love you more today than yesterday. Yesterday you got on my nerves". Again, funny and something my husband and I both felt appropriate for our unique dynamic. In addition to the home décor section, you can find pet supplies, jewelry, clothing, greeting cards and great gift ideas. After visiting the homed décor section, you will want to wander over to the adjoining space where they have a women's boutique featuring maxi dresses, pants, tops, sweater wraps and accessories.
