I love the antiques you can find in this store and it's so big! You can find so much stuff here, and the workers wrap your stuff nicely and reuse boxes as much as possible for transporting purchases so as to not use up plastic. My one and ONLY complaint is the lack of air conditioning. Which I know is frustrating for the workers too, so I'm not necessarily upset at anyone specifically, but I'm very heat intolerant so I think I won't be able to come back here at all until well into fall. I love this place so much! The Hodge Podge has the best prices and the most unique pieces of anywhere in Rome. I also love that it's conveniently located on my way in and out of town to and from Atlanta. There are tons of different booths here and the merchandise varies from handmade items to repurposed home goods and antiques. The booths change often and I never leave empty handed! Even the local antique dealer's shop here - I know I do. The prices are fantastic and the vendors range from elegant French country to 70's decor to bonafide antiques. They have furniture, decor, clothing, jewelry and organic goats milk soap. Perfect place to buy that gift for the person who has everything. I love this place. read more
