CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!…read more The market is an absolutely adorable home décor shop in the Calhoun Outlets. It is truly unique and a store that you must visit if visiting the outlets. I was immediately drawn in by the holiday décor which was warm and inviting and definitely captured the spirit of Christmas. There was something interesting for every aesthetic, (casual to more formal). If you are into sign art, this is your store! They had great signs with funny messages such as my favorite which said" I'm not bossy, I just know what you should be doing". I made sure that my husband read this one because he sometimes gets it confused. I also loved the one that said " I love you more today than yesterday. Yesterday you got on my nerves". Again, funny and something my husband and I both felt appropriate for our unique dynamic. In addition to the home décor section, you can find pet supplies, jewelry, clothing, greeting cards and great gift ideas. After visiting the homed décor section, you will want to wander over to the adjoining space where they have a women's boutique featuring maxi dresses, pants, tops, sweater wraps and accessories. This is a great little shop that offers great options if you are looking for a unique gift, home décor or just a special treat for yourself. ***I enjoyed the sounds of Christmas which were a mix of classic Christmas tunes and Christian songs. This is a Christian business, just so you know!

Great store, very creative inventory. Some one of a kind finds. I enjoy shopping at The market…read more The reason I didn't give this great store a 5 is because I feel like there are no sales representatives. Only high school students that run the register. Truly think they need someone knowing the products and promoting sales by sharing products and information on the products or people who created them.

Most of the stuff in here is valued well below market price with a few price tags that will make you choke, but they are few and far between amongst all the deals. It also has a bunch of gift items amongst the place for the people that can't come to grips with pulling the trigger on something with a little dust on it. The owners clean up most of the stuff though before they put it out. I have found old glassware, old transportation collectibles (gas cans, hand cranked oil drum pumps), furniture, scales, school house collectibles, farm implements and more at this joint. You really do get a good deal here.

What a cute boutique to find in small town in rural GA. I liked everything about it the second I…read morewalked in the door. I was surprised to see such an eclectic boutique like this in such a small town, but it was a very pleasant surprise and I found a few other similar, unique shops in the area, too, so I was geeked about that. It was definitely more akin to funky boutiques and gift shops that usually dot Melrose Ave, but I was obviously happy to find such a treasure in downtown Calhoun. I found some of the the cutest tops and dresses here. I noted that this particular shop only carried limited numbers of each design and most clothing items didn't come in several sizes (or multiple items in different sizes, either), probably as a way to ideally keep the styles varied and more unique, not typical cookie cutter styles often sold in mass market quantities in department stores or shopping malls. In other words, this wasn't Banana Republic, if you know what I mean. Not everyone around town will be wearing the same identical outfit when boutiques actually carry only select numbers of each piece. The store layout, its merchandise, price point, and customer service all reminded me of a more niche boutique that you see in larger cities, like LA or Chicago. All of the labels were from clothing companies that I hadn't seen before and most seemed to be Made in the USA, too. I have to say, I liked that a lot. I definitely thought the skirts, dresses, tops and jackets seemed more upmarket in comparison to what I would've thought before stepping into this quiet little boutique. Don't judge a book by its cover because the unassuming facade couldn't have belied what treasures were behind the front door more than it did. Other than clothing, I found a bunch of cute handbags and custom jewelry. The salespeople were super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I wound up picking up some jewelry that I couldn't pass up and it was on sale (most of the downtown stores ran a Pre-Easter sale that weekend), so it didn't cost that much, either. Honestly, I regret not picking up a cute lace dress that I saw, too, but that's my mistake in not picking it up before it sold out. Bummer. Overall, excellent attention to customer service and great selection. I
