This shop (a tad out of the way and located on a shady side street behind the Main Street area of downtown Calhoun) was actually recommended to my husband and myself by another local business owner. She thought I'd love it and probably be able to find something interesting for the house and she was right! This shop is filled wall to wall with scads of super cute home decor, accessories, boutique clothing g and jewelry. It has a little of this and that, in other words. It definitely my cup of tea and truthfully, I could have spent a fortune in here redecorating my place, but I showed restraint and curbed my impulse to shop a bit, so I would up picking up some moderately-priced decor items and let it go at that. I'm sure my husband was pleased by that! In the end, I grabbed some items with a distinct mercury glass motif and a candle. Everything was gorgeous, eclectic and most of it seemed moderately-priced, but the larger decorative accents and custom handbags were obviously pricier. The lady the owns the store was super nice and helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Next time I'm in town (my family lives nearby), I'll be certain to come back for another shopping trip and this time I'm gonna delve into the clothing and accessories section a tad more. It looked super eclectic when I scoped the racks, but my eye was drawn more to the decor side of the boutique. Though I didn't splurge that much on this trip, I did come away with some interesting ideas for redecorating and updating my house, so that's awesome. The store is a decorator's paradise chock full of great design inspiration. It felt like I walked into a layout for Domino or Elle Decor magazine. Great selections and first rate service.

I could not decide on what I wanted to use on the hill as the ground cover! I was trying to decide on rock, pine straw, mulch, or rubber mulch. I invested in several rolls that probably cost me several hundreds of dollars. If you decide to invest in this product please keep in mind that it will dissolve In the sun so please cover it up with your choice of ground covering very soon because you will look up and see it flapping and with holes. She wanted to convert back to installation instructions but I wanted a WARNING or BE SURE TO COVER BECAUSE THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT HOLD UP IN THE SUN! She placed me on hold to question someone else who told her that her advice was right in her delivery! I beg to differ and she told me to take pictures and email customer service to probably only waste my time! Take my warning as a heads up or just in case you are not covering immediately!

You can negotiate the price but so far when they've thrown a price at me I was happy to pay what they asked. They sell comic books, games, puzzles, DVDs and more. The shop is off Allatoona Gateway (used to be Glade Road) - behind Taco Bell, Pizza Hut & KFC. Plenty of parking - the shopping center is not usually busy. The owners are friendly, fun and helpful.

I scored this 1980's Minolta book in almost perfect condition for less than $5.

They do have a lot of incoming items every week so I encourage everyone to go back frequently. The folks there are helpful and will hand you a basket and help you bring your books to the front when you are ready to check out. The only thing I didn't like was the baked goods. I purchased a sourdough. It had caraway which is similar to rye and I do not like rye. I did however like the croissants I purchased but on the flip side the five cookies were meh. So more was bad than good. The other vendors I purchased from were wonderful. Eggs, bone-in pork chops, ground beef , dog treats (chicken claws) three types of greens, arugula, Bibb and romaine, and a frozen chicken were some of the things I purchased. I did notice only one vendor had fruit, strawberries, which sold out quickly. The next time I go I hope there is more to choose from. I will definitely return.
