A few days back, i just received a simple text saying my appointment was canceled for 2027. No explanations given, just a cold not canceling me. I had previously gotten great…read morehealth care from Dr. Michael Salter for my Glaucoma, but am extremely disappointed in two things - I had my basic 6-month checkup July of 2025 that I paid my normal $30 Copay, however I just found out via a text message that they charged so much for my normal checkup, that they wanted an addition $65 above my Medicare payment. To make matters worse, the message indicated that my account, which they had never billed, would be sent to collections if it wasn't promptly paid. When I called up to enquire, the billing department was not apologetic about the extra amount, just said they were having billing issues and didn't apologize for sending out threatening notices for billings they never made.

They even helped another patient search for his keys for at least 30 minutes! Several of them! (I was sitting on them. sighs.) I only picked them because they were nearby and took vsp insurance, but I'll definitely be back. First, they have plenty of parking, and the location is beautiful. They're inside this gorgeous big house that must have been rehabbed because it looks fantastic inside. Everything is clean and looks new. As a new patient who hasn't seen an eye doctor in a while, I gave them my info and didn't wait long. Then a tech did the initial assessment where you read stuff from a screen. Waited a bit again, then I was taken inside for further assessment, and was given the choice to have my pupils dilated (included by insurance) or get a picture of my eyeballs for $39, so yeah I chose to pay extra since it wasn't a crazy amount and it was worth it to drive afterwards and run errands. Towards the end of my appointment Dr Boyd stopped by and checked all my info as well as pictures, and since everything looked alright she said I was good to go. Considering I have noticed my eyes get tired sometimes I was afraid they'd push glasses on me, but considering my prescription would be so so low they said it wasn't necessary. Afterwards another staff member took me to the checkout window and waited with me until it was my turn. In all everyone was very nice and service was great. Totally recommend it.

I called back and got a different person who was a little easier to understand, but it took way too long to make an appointment and the appointment time I chose could not be confirmed so she had to call the local office which put her on hold I was kept on hold and ended up having to change the appointment time. Too over 20 minutes on the second attempt, to schedule an appointment for an established patient. Absolutely frustrating.

Dr. Molly Tipton was my technician; she said they were short-staffed that day and she didn't normally do that job, but she was wonderful nonetheless. Dr. Rich McCurdy performed my exam and was very thorough, friendly yet professional. Afterwards, a lovely young woman named Maria helped me pick out some super cute new frames, and even made sure that the frames I picked were fully covered under my insurance! Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this clinic!

Went in for an annual eye exam, but really because I had some issues. They go through a very in depth exam, and will sit with you and answer any and all questions you have. I had Dr. David Parker. Professional and caring. Expected a lot less, and got a lot more. Amazing assistants. All were VERY nice and smart. It was such a warming place with great people. I have found my eye doctor and won't switch to anyone else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Did I mention that already?
