She was very thorough with the exams and explaining the process and results. My children had a slight change in vision, but not enough of a difference to warrant new glasses. She was honest in her assessment and wasn't pushy with purchasing glasses that weren't needed. I really appreciate that. She is a friendly and competent professional who delivers excellent customer service. I highly recommend Dr. Jamison. Update on June 24, 2018: Dr. Jamison and her staff are still providing excellent customer service. I took my two children for another eye exam a few days ago. They were seen almost immediately and Dr. Jamison did suggest glasses for them this time. My teenage son managed to find a pair of glasses right away, but my teenage daughter needed a lot more time. The staff was very patient and helped her find a pair that she absolutely loves. We were even able to pick up her glasses only three days later.

I received them today, fortunately for me Carol H was there to help fit the frames right and I left! I can't say enough for the total ease and comfort my whole experience was! I have enjoyed buying glasses here. When I've needed adjustments or repairs, which I have more than most, Cassandra has helped me with patience and skill. This year I would have been happy to give them my business, but when they didn't have the type of frames I was looking for, Cassandra suggested other opticians that might and even called some to check. That was above and beyond the call of any businessperson's duty; it reminds me of "Miracle on 34th Street." Though I took her advice and found the perfect frames elsewhere, the experience makes me all the more anxious to patronize Advanced Vision in the future.

Glasses got chewed up when he was a puppy, came here, had new glasses in 1-2 hours. I explained this was somewhat of an emergency situation, and was told that I couldn't get new glasses without doing an eye exam. I came in with my prescription, it has been the same for a long time. I've also had an exam within the past 2 years or so, so I'm confident in its validity. The young woman I spoke to was so unhelpful and so unwilling to work with me. Frames and lenses are expensive enough, add in an exam I don't need, and we're treading in price prohibitive waters. I understand glasses are a medical device and the importance of valid prescriptions, but a little flexibility and humanity would have been nice. I'm not asking for nuclear launch codes, I just want to be able to see! I ended up leaving and going to the Rosedale location. Told them the same story, showed them the same prescription, and they got me new glasses in a little over an hour. No exam needed. Everyone there was so pleasant and helpful. They made a very stressful situation so much better. I've been going to the Maplewood location for years but I won't be going back. Rosedale is farther away, but well worth the drive for the superior customer service I recieved.
