During my appointment, after at least a 30 minute wait, I left the exam room to speak to someone at the front desk about the excessive wait time (who stated that the doc was with another patient), and then returned to the exam room. Magically, the doc re-appeared to the exam room almost instantly. No apology. This was my experience when I went for a routine exam last month. During this experience, I was reminded how much waiting time I encountered during my previous routine eye exam here a few years prior. It causes me to wonder why, when the office does not appear to be in the least bit "busy", a patient who has health care coverage via medical assistance, is subjected to excessive wait time. Certainly other patients would have expressed complaints about excessive wait times if they had encountered them.

I've never felt rushed -- which is very difficult to find in a healthcare setting these days. I'm extremely nearsighted and from the beginning he educated me about risks associated with this condition; especially retinal tear which is an eyesight emergency. Sure enough, I had one and got in with a retinal specialist the same day. (I can also highly recommend Retina Center [Dr. Vaughn Emerson] -- the referral Dr. Snyder gave me). Dr. Snyder also carries high quality, brand name, designer frames that his friendly staff do a great job helping me choose. (I have 'made in USA', State brand). They measure and help me find ones that are both stylish and fit my face. Figuring I use my glasses every day, it's worth getting really well-fitting and comfortable glasses! If you're looking for a great eye care provider, I highly recommend Dr. Snyder.

They have a very wide range of options for frames. I came in with a printed prescription and no appointment, and my glasses were ready 16 days later. Parking is challenging. I think the parking spaces behind the building are just for employees, and all the other nearby spots are reserved for others. If you find a street spot you're fine, but it's not likely to be close.

Dr. Wallerich is awesome, friendly, knows his stuff, etc. Always willing to adjust glasses, the space is clean, variety of glasses to pick from, allow glasses and contacts to ship to store or home, etc. Cons: Inconsistent team members / staff and weird hidden hours. For example, I obtained a fresh eye exam and new prescription with the trial contacts. When I went to order the new prescription via phone, I could tell something was off. The staff member had ordered my old prescription which was annoying as I had to go back in, explain the situation, get a re-order, etc. It was also disappointing to learn that the internal system doesn't sync with eye exams showing me that an extra check and balance must happen for every order. Furthermore, I rushed here today to pick up my correct contact prescription and arrived to a gated environment reading, "We'll Be Back at 2:30 pm". It is 1:30 pm and I have to wait 1-hour or leave and come back. Overall, to get in here is convenient. Contrary, this place will cost you time which 100% plays a factor into my future of visiting here. Please tighten these flaws up. There is such potential and I'm losing faith.

That said, he was professional and thorough, whether in checking my eyesight, fitting me for contact lenses, or rechecking the fitting after I'd put on a trial pair. Eyes All Over typically gives over a week's worth of daily contact lenses for a trial run, and Matthew makes a point of guiding clients towards economical lens choices that offer enough support for their eyes without wallet overkill. Optometrists often have a refitting policy in event a prescription doesn't feel quite right, and Matthew's refitting policy extends 60 days from the examination. Overall, a good experience. I'll be back in a week to pick up the trial contact lens sets on order for me. Meanwhile, I have the remaining pairs the office had on hand to try out.

It was so dirty. Save your money go elsewhere. This quaint shop is delightful. I choose to come to this place because it is close to a friend that I visit often. There is a wonderful man that works here that is absolutely charming. He gives top notch service and literally rolls out the red carpet for his guests. He has a wonderful personality, he is attentive and very honest feedback about how the eyewear looks on me. I highly recommend you see him. I worked with a gal a couple years ago that was extremely lackluster and had zero skills in terms of assisting me in picking out I eyewear that would look flattering on me. I was grateful when I walked through the door and the gentleman was there. I knew he would be helpful as he was so put together and had exquisite eyewear. I do believe his name was James. If not, James possibly Joseph. The female that was offputting was named from what I remember, Maureen or Modonna. Useless.

I never leave bad reviews because I always find something good to say about every place but it changes today. From the moment I walked into this location, they were extremely rude for no reason. Staff didn't welcome me at all. As an African American Muslim, I always get my glasses at Pearle Vision (since I was 5). I never had a problem at any other location but this one. Diana said my insurance popped up with HER NAME and that it was my fault (Yes you read that correct she said MY INSURANCE, popped up with HER name). They both said to call my insurance and that it was my issue. I did and my insurance said there is nothing was wrong and that I recently used my card at a dermatology and orthodontist office. The insurance man even offered to give them my PMI number and they both refused it. Diana also made comments about how I couldn't afford it without insurance. Overall the staff made up multiple reasons not to see me. I came in there 30 minutes before my appointment, excited to get new glasses and I left in tears. Never returning to this location, staff is very unprofessional and they discriminate. Beware! read more

Around the first week of August i was left a voicemail on vacation indicating they expected my frames in the next week. I never heard back and called again on 9/11 and was informed someone was calling me back at 2pm same day with an update. Not only did i not get that call back, i also left a voice mail three days ago (now 9/25) that was also never returned. in terms of customer service, how can you expect a customer to wait for over 3 months for eye frames when they were in stock at one of your locations? on multiple occasions why would you not call your customer back? why does one location take my insurance but another does not? eye exam was NOT covered by my insurance because i learned after the fact that it was the other location that accepted my insurance. eye exam itself was excellent. i have gone to LensCrafters and VisionWorks and really wanted to like Dakota Eye Care but you have missed the mark with nearly every aspect of what it takes to provide excellent customer service.
