I had my eye exam today along with my mom, it being her first time getting her eyes checked staff here are so welcoming and nice as well as the check in technician he was so friendly made me and my mom feel comfortable as well as the lady that helped us get our measurements for our new pair of glasses. The doctor who checked our eyes delivered a customer experience that I have not had at another Pearl Vision I have been to. He was so nice, funny, and informative and patient! Such a wonderful man. For years I have been going to 'botique' vision places and overall been happy. Decided to just stop in here and see what they had to offer with time ticking out on the year and my HSA. First off, we were greeted but not bothered by the employees, helpful and there when needed, not following me around... Selection was fantastic!! This eye clinic is the BEST in the cities hands down! Doctor Wands goes above and beyond for his Patients and their health needs! Desiree is simply amazing she's so helpful and every time I call I always feel satisfied that they are doing their absolute best at helping our family. We were told my son needed eye surgery and Dr Wands used his personal time (after hours and on the weekends) to personally try to find the best doctor for my son using our insurance. My son is very, very shy around doctors (as I've had to undergo several surgeries/chemo so any doctor makes him very nervous now) but Dr. Wands was so gentle and kind to him that he's now my sons favorite doctor (something I never thought I'd say about any doctor!) completely recommend this eye clinic as every single staff member shows such care and concern for your family you leave feeling wonderful and cared for! Well, things finally got to the point where no amount of squinting would get me through the day anymore, and doing it as much as I did was causing a lot of eye strain and fatigue. I had to get glasses for reading and working on the computer. I'll say that as a busy working professional with no time to waste, dealing with Pearle Vision was great from beginning to end. Scheduling my appointment online was painless and simple. Dr. Randgaard was thorough and professional in doing the eye exam, explaining what was wrong, and the options I had from the optics side to set things right. Amy did a great job of navigating me through frame selection, optical coatings, and so forth. The insurance billing was handled, and they even helped me with the information I needed to get a nice rebate from the company that built the lens systems. The whole process took a week from beginning to end. Prompt, courteous, professional service all the way through. The glasses work great, and I wish I hadn't waited so long to get them. read more

Great customer service. We had our 2 little kids with and they were understanding as well as set up for families (toys for the kids to play with) and were not bothered with our squirrely kids. The customer service has been excellent everytime I've gone in from the first time to even now for adjustments. I normally stick to food reviews but the customer service really stood out to me. Eye exam and two pairs of new glasses brought me in touch with three employees. Everyone was professional, courteous, friendly, and seemed genuinely interested in getting me the right glasses that fit well. This experience was a stark contrast to last years visit to a Target optician. Bad fitting glasses and a progressive bifocal that made me dizzy to wear. From the minute i walked in the store I was made to feel uncomfortable. I was wearing nice slacks, nice pull over shirt, and black dress shoes. So I can't figure out why she was so unwelcoming, as if I didn't belong in the store...umm wonder what it could be? Secondly, I inquired about getting my glasses repaired and she said the simple fix would be $120 vs $105 from all the other pearle visions. Third, when I was looking at the more up scale frames she immediately stated the price with a condescending tone as if I certainly couldn't afford these kind of frames with out even describing the frames. I have never had such a concerning experience and hope no one else has to go through what I am. I paid for lenses for my glasses (the lady that helped me said she didn't know how to run insurance and said I would need to submit a claim) I have my bank statement showing the charge went through my check card and my receipt from the store. Pearle vision sent my account to advantage collections and when confronted pulled it back. Advantage collections sent this to all the credit reporting bureaus and it has negatively impacted my credit. Please do not spend any money here even if you pay for it your account will end up in collections. They make fraudulent charges and then say it is your fault. read more

Literally the worst eye doctor I've ever been to. Staff is rude, accept for Becky. But Kristin is absolutely the rudest customer service person I've ever encountered. They charged me $300 for contacts. I assumed they ran my insurance first, but when I inquired they said "oh you have insurance?" My insurance covered it at 100% and I'm still waiting for a refund a week later. This place sucks. read more

Save the trip! Their staff are racist towards people of color. I was greeted with rude stares & nasty attitudes. They said I had an "insurance issue" which I'm sure wasn't the problem. I used my insurance at multiple locations before this, and never had an issue. When I tried to get my insurance on the phone, they were already trying to push me out the door. They refused to provide me service and the reason why was pretty clear. You're better off looking for a different location. read more

July, I was having a lot of light sensitivity, a result of having PRK eye surgery in May. After going to other eye doctors' offices in the area and being treated in a dismissive way. When I went into the Ford Parkway Pearle Vision, I was moved to tears when Optician Desiree, showed me compassion and understanding when it came to the light sensitivity issues. She spent a lot of time helping me look for good sunglasses. She had a lot of knowledge about the product and was Very pleasant. The world needs More Desiree's!! I was also helped by others there in the past, (Tracy) they were great as well! For several years now I've been getting my glasses at the cheap places. Now I know there really is a difference. I got sick of squinting, taking my glasses off to read, and headaches. This time I went to Pearle Vision on Ford Parkway in St. Paul. The service was exceptional! They were genuine, friendly, kind, and really knew their stuff. They made me feel like I really mattered to them. I've had bifocals for several years, but this is the first time they've actually worked! They really make a difference. I did end up paying more for my frames than I have been lately, but there was a much better selection and I love my new glasses! I've also learned that I can't really save money on lenses anywhere. The cheap places I went to didn't accept my eye insurance anyway! This was worth every penny. I won't make that mistake again. read more

I visited pearl vision on Aug 17. I had a script from MD to select new frames. I was there for 30 min. In that 30 min, the tech was on the phone for 15 in. Really did not want answer my questions. Did measure me for my new frames. I am a Ucare MA patient. I was treated like I did not mater. I will not be going back to pick up the new glasses. Worst customer service experience ever. We stopped by the shop at noon to see if there was any chance of getting in early, stating we have a 4 o'clock appointment. Rather than listen and say, "Sorry, the doctor is booked solid." she says, "Wow! You're really early. You can sit around for four hours and wait." Rude rude rude. We knew it was a long shot and even said that, but no, you gave us attitude. Then, at the appointment, you comment about how new you are and that you don't know what you're doing, "If I screw up, I'll be in trouble." Then when you call to say the glasses are in, you say, "And don't show up at 5 to close. We're not staying open late for you." All of these experiences led to our decision to take our business elsewhere. You lost two new customers. read more

Dr. Olson answered all of my questions, ahd she and her staff were friendly and very understanding and accommodating of my fear of all things medical. I had my last eye exam here about two years ago. At that time, I was in the market for new eyeglass frames. Although I tried on many styles and had narrowed the number down to 'several', and although a friend and a store rep were assisting me, it was last frame the store rep offered me that was the deciding frame. Since my purchase, I've returned at least a few times to have her (Tracey) adjust my frames to make them more comfortable, because they just get out of whack when you wear them all the time...or sometimes you happen to mistakenly sit on them... read more

FALSE ADVERSTISING!!! I stopped by Pearl Vision when I saw the sign in the door advertising the second pair of glass free with the full price purchase of a pair prescription glasses. The window promotion says: Buy one get one free/eyeglasses and Rx sunglasses/Buy a complete pair, get a complete pair free. On closer examination however, the second pair has a maximum value of $300 and even single vision tinted lens run a minimum of $250 according to the salesperson. Most of the frames were over $200, meaning the least expensive "free" second pair would be at least $150...not to mention paying full price for the frames and lenses of the first pair...Not how I define "free" or honest advertising! read more

Worst experience ever! I tried Pearle because my insurance included them as provider. I've been wearing glasses for many years and never had an issue. Pearle's Dr. said I needed correction for astigmatism - no other dr. had ever found this need. Choosing frames was chaotic to say the least. I kept getting shuttled from one person to the next, basically starting over with each new person. When my glasses came in, I was again bounced from person to person. I thought something might be wrong with my glasses because one person looked at them, took them to two other people - all three tried them on. When I put the glasses on I couldn't see a thing. It was like looking through a fish bowl. One of the women helping me said I could see the dr. for a re-check. She said he was just finishing up with another patient and I could wait for him. 15 minutes later, the dr. came out and took another patient in. I went up to the desk to see what was going on and the woman who had told me to wait kept her back to me like I would disappear if she pretended to forget that she told me to wait. I spoke with another person at the desk who said she didn't know what happened, but she could schedule another appointment for me. I could keep going on and on ... tomorrow it will two weeks and I still don't have any resolution or any one person who will accept responsibility and try to get this resolved. Horrible! read more

Love my Highland Pearle Vision Center! Always prompt attention and excellent service. My most recent visit, Mike, the manager, quickly repaired my broken glasses so I could continue to use them while my new ones were being made. Melissa picked out the perfect frames for me on her first try; good assessment of my face, coloring, and budget! The lenses were perfectly made, and Nathan fitted the earpieces so well when I picked them up that I have not had to go back and have them adjusted! I got glasses here for the first time this spring. From the first time I was trying to pick out frames, Michelle was amazing. She helped me figure out which styles looked best and was totally honest and helpful. The first pair I picked out ended up not fitting quite right on my nose and they gave me a headache, so they covered the cost of the second pair. I tried Warby Parker last time, and they were good, but after this experience, I'll only come back here in the future. read more
