My wife and I have been coming to Precision for many years and have always had great experience with Dr. Tuttle and the staff. They have always been quite thorough in the exams [I have Type II diabetes] and they have always been nothing short of super courteous when describing the different options for frames and lenses. The glasses when needed have always come back ready to go in about a week, beating their estimate pretty much every time. With a few tweaks I'm ready and set for another year!! Contrary to the other review this place has been great. I didn't like how a pair of glasses fit and they took them back and allowed me to order another. Another time I went back to be fitted for contacts plus glasses and this is the best I've ever seen in the past 30 years of wearing glasses. read more

The worse place I have ever been too! Came here for an eye exam and they gave me a completely wrong prescription in my eye glasses and my contacts prescription also was not correct! When I first got my eye glasses back I told Jennifer the manger at the time I couldn't see in them at all they we're so blurry I couldn't see to walk in them let alone drive wearing them and she told me it would take awhile to get use to wearing them just give it time...so I did a month went bytelling me the same thing then finally 5 months went by until I finally did lasik and that's when 3 doctors told me the glasses we're way off in prescription and came no where matching even my contacts! The lasik place told me either it happened in the manufactures process or the doctor had it wrong. So I called precision eye waconia and shared my findings and to my surprise they did refund the glasses but the surprise was they ask our whole family not to ever come back to them that it wasn't a good fit for our family, what???wait????? Wasn't sure why their mistake became asking us to leave, not that we would come back after that but it certainly surprised me we we're all asked to not to come back after clearly the mistake was made by them! Also we never said who's fault it was they just needed to be aware of the situation so it didn't happen to another patient, whether it was the Dr. tuttles fault or the manufacturers fault the glasses were never checked coming in at all even through their office which if so they would of caught the problem! Can you say clearly unperfessional! Most places would just fix the problem and make sure your happy to continue care with them and bring more ppl back with you as to word of mouth goes a long ways. When I asked why we're we asked to leave when the fault was there's they said because there won't be patient/doctor trust anymore and I was like well ok but it would be us not trusting you not the other way around! Wow made no sense but I think they wanted the problem and embarrassment to just go away on their part, compensation but very weird and unprofessional to say the least. I would tell anyone thinking of going to them to think again and go somewhere with more experienced staff and doctors! Don't waste your time or money. read more

I had been going to Precision for a few years. Everytime I just felt like my experience wasn't very good. Dr Tuttle was really nice & I did like her. A few of my problem incidents included them not fixing a pair of my glasses. I had ordered a pair of Kate Spade glasses through them (They were not cheap!). After a year or so the finish began to wear off. I brought them in and asked if this normal, a defect or what could be done to fix it? They claimed it was from my hair products I used. Hmm...interesting as I don't wear any hair products, nor do I do any hair treatment. Another time they wouldn't order in a pair of glasses for me but no explanation why (This incident I do understand could have been based off my presc, but seems as though they would be able to give me a reason). Another time they wouldn't print my prescription off for me, I had to go into the online portal and find it myself. Yes this wasn't too hard to do, but the whole fact that they wouldn't or "couldn't" print if off bothered me. The last incident I had (which made me realize I need to find somewhere else to go) was when I wanted to order a pair of presc sunglasses. They quoted me two diff quotes, same glasses but just different options. They seemed extremely expensive to me, so I told them I would think about it and call them if I decided to order. They then called me a few hours later and said one price option went down by a bit, but the other price option went up a bit...??? This confused me greatly. Would have made more sense if both options had went up or down, but clearly they were misquoting me or not reading into my insurance correctly. At my new eye exam place I have now switched to they said I have some of the best vision insurance there is. So that made me wonder even more why my glasses and sunglasses purchased at Precision were so expensive. read more

Dr. Tuttle at Precision Eye Care does a fabulous job of treating each patient and appointment as if it is her only one of the day. Dr. Tuttle truly cares, takes her time and makes the eye exam all about the client. She is warm, caring and easy to talk with.
