I am highly satisfied with Dr. Benjamin Lane when it comes to me and my family eye exams. yes, he…read moreis very detailed oriented. He does take his time. Dr. Lane is highly qualified Optometrist with many degrees from prestigious Universities. We are so used to of In and Out practices from other facilities. So when it comes to Nutritional Optometry, we expect the same 10-15 minutes tops, just like other providers without realizing we do need a thorough eye exam. When I first visited Dr. Lane office many years ago as a result of my regular optometrist has no availability in the last month of the year, i was thankful that she was unable to take me, because I found Nutritional Optometry. I was so happy to meet Dr. Lane and was highly impressed the way my eye exam was done, never had that opportunity before Dr. Lane. I really do not care how the office or the waiting area looks like, because I am not there for it. I am there for my eye exam. and if I have full attention, I am the happiest person.

He is one of few eye doctors who look into your eyes via excellent equipment and can catch not only issues with your eyes but other diseases before you or your GP knows you are sick. Many eye diseases are neurodegenerative so catching eye issues early and coaching someone to stop progression through proven nutrition and supplements will also help people fend diseases like dementia, MS, etc. as well as blindness. Dr. Lane is also kind and patient in coaching patients to do all of the right things to have healthy eyes, mind and body. The key is that patients need to heed his advice. Finally, please disregard the comments about the office. People need to focus on the important aspects of medical providers!

I tried to wait as long as I could until I ran out of contact lenses, and while wearing my last…read morepair of contacts, decided to look for an eye doctor. I searched through my insurance and found this optometrist. I called and expected the receptionist to tell me that their first available appointment would be in a couple of months, just like couple of other offices I'd called, but I was pleasantly surprised when they said there was an opening today.... a little bit weary... why was there an opening on the same day that I called? Not that I don't like that, but it seems unusual... shouldn't the office be busy? Isn't that what makes a good doctor? hmm.... I booked my appointment with some trepidation. As with any dentist or doctor visits, I was a little bit nervous going to see a new eye doctor. When I walked into the door, the receptionist greeted me very welcomingly. And soon after, the doctor came to see me and we had a nice consultation. Dr. Ilaxi Rana answered all of my questions very warmly. She made me feel at ease right away. The eye exam was quick and easy. Within 30 minutes, everything was done and I left the office wearing a new pair of contacts that fit and felt more comfortable than ever before, as per my new eye doctor's recommendation. I will definitely go back to this eye doctor again!...(well, I have to in a week for a follow up check up and then to order more contacts) =)

Some of the worst customer service I have ever expeirenced…read more All the other complaints on here are right, listen to them, and go somewhere else so you don't get the physical and metaphorical headaches. I asked them to order the extras that were on my last pair of glasses. They told me that I had anti glare and blue light protection so thats what I thought I was getting. There are messages to my girlfriend where I expressed that I was excited they were getting me the anti glare again, especially with my astigmatism. Little did I know, they did not order the anti glare. I get the glasses and drive home (6 min away(trust me this will be important later)). Head stareted hurting immediately so within 15 min of receiving the glasses I call back to tell them my concerns. They told me that I didn't order anti glare. So I told them that they are the ones who recommended this, and that I was excited about what they told me to get. Either way, a mistake was made, I just wanted to return the glasses to get the coating applied. Not only would they not admit to their mistake in taking the order, they also couldn't wait the 6 min for me to drive over and drop the glasses off. They are supposed to be open until 6 pm but apparently this day they were leaving after the last paitent who was currently being seen at around 4:35 pm. I told them, "you told me you were open until 6 pm earlier for pickup, but now you cant wait 6 min for me to drop these off". They completely ignored me and told me there would be no one in the office by then. They already have some of the shittiest, inconsistent hours in existence which means I had to wait until a week later to drop them off, wednesdays being the only day they are open past 4 pm.
