Mintze, my optician, set about looking for frames that had adequate support for the thicker parts of my lenses-to-be. When it came time to pick the coatings, she warned me that the blue light filters would really harm the transmission of the thicker parts of the lens. I appreciated this attention to detail. Really, you're coming to Madison Eyes because you want a neutral person's appraisal for how the frames look on you, and because you want greater selection. It's definitely not cheap to buy glasses here. But it's worth it for making the most of my sight, my most important sense. I'm posting photos of my top two choices from this year. 6-7-21 Had cataract surgery - different doctor and location…read more After 3 weeks of treatment to fix a problem with the surgery, Dr. Reisman identified my problem quickly, notified and arranged for the surgeon that did the original surgery to immediately, correct the problem. I could have lost sight in that eye except for Dr Reisman seeing me right away without an appointment. Dr Reisman is an outstanding, competent, capable and trustworthy physician. Those who wait for a time past their appointment may experience that because Dr. Reisman is helping someone like myself. If I must wait past my appointment time I will remember whenI needed and received emergency help. Also, the office is clean, bright, well organized and all people there are friendly. Exam: Dr Mohit Kapoor and his assistant: first her assistant conducted a couple of tests through various machines and took some photos. she was helpful and knowledgeable; it was 5 min test. After that, we waited around 20 minutes and then Dr. Mohit called us and checked my eyes (those "read the letters" things) In the test conducted before, he showed the photo and gave the information on my eye healthiness (blood circulation, space gap, and all... ). Store: The store has a good collection of frames (Regulars, stylish, luxury), also they have associates who can assist you with your glasses/lens. Though I did not order a glass (yet) but assistants provided the necessary information if I go for a glass (lens), they let me know about the single/bifocal lens/ types of glass, prices, and all. Yup, there could be a waiting period, but it is the same everywhere.

The staff is great - very friendly, attentive and experienced. They have very good, advanced and clean equipment that they use to check for additional/potential diseases you may have (it's optional). The exams are very thorough. Irina helped me out this year in picking out glasses for me, she asked for my style and what she thought would look good on me and went around the women's section to give me a few pairs to try on. She has great taste! :) Just a heads up, be on the look out for additional discounts - I had a discount on my 2nd pair of glasses this year and also got coupons in the mail.
