Due to COVID-19, call ahead to make an appointment to look at frames! The people here were great and did not show even an ounce of annoyance as I essentially tried on every single pair of frames even in the store -- even though that meant they would then have to sanitize each and every pair. Once I selected a pair and worked with an optician to place the order, we ran into a roadblock with my insurance, as another provider had already submitted a request for benefits authorization. Rather than telling me to leave and figure it out with my insurance, one of the opticians called my insurance directly and got the issue resolved while I waited. I was quoted 1-2 weeks for my new glasses to be ready, and to my surprise, I got a text the next morning that my glasses were ready! My glasses were fine when I picked them up, but later that night I noticed there was a very small crack in one of the lenses. I brought them in the next day and Flanders Family Eyecare replaced the lens free of charge. Again, I was quoted 1-2 weeks for the replacement, yet they were ready the next day. Such a quick turnaround time and a very wide selection of styles!

Have not had this problem in the past with previous providers. You are sent an automatic email with an appointment for a yearly check-up, which I couldn't make. When I tried to rebook for a Saturday the first available appointment was over 6 weeks away. Went with a different provider in the area that had more flexibility with appointments....and better prices.

First, I have to praise the two women working at the front desk. For a 7PM appointment (which is completely flexible for an office!), these two employees were as pleasant, well-spoken, and professional as could be. They were great in helping me arrange the appt and in answering a few questions earlier in the day, and they were even better in assisting with with sign in & new patient paperwork when I arrived. Other existing patients were there who were also enjoying conversation with them. Truly outstanding service for a medical office. Now onto the doctor - I am pretty sure it was Dr. Fabery I met with; I hope I have the right physician. Totally professional, relaxed, and informative. I felt like I was with an intelligent friend more than with a doctor. In just a few minutes I was examined, and a piece of debris was removed without any pain. They each in turn introduced themselves and informed me as to what their role is and what today's exam would entail. I made my way from reception, to the eye exams, to the doctor, then to the optician for the choice of lenses and frames. There was a lot of information to absorb. I had a tonne of questions. Every question was answered professionally, and without feeling judged or rushed. They were very patient and very kindly explained everything in detail. Who knew there were so many options! Dr. Ripps was able to diagnose my extreme astigmatism and has gone out of his way to accommodate me. One night I got my contact stuck and he drove in the middle of the night to his office to see me and remove it. Excellent service and expert care. And his staff are some of the most pleasant I've come across, remembering my name, getting info, making appointments. Like others I can't recommend him and them highly enough.
