The exam was extremely thorough, and I loved the Optomap option instead of dilation; makes for a better drive home! The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful, and makes sure that your visit there is a happy and smooth one. I was recommended to go to Advanced Eyecare, and am very happy with my decision to go here. I also got glasses for the days that I don't wear contacts, and their selection is numerous! Lots to choose from. The optical department will make sure you get a pair that actually looks good on you...and I am a guy, so that is really not my forte! They also take the time to make sure that the glasses feel right, and are adjusted properly. My new contacts brand is also a bonus! Nice Barnes & Noble location…read more This is one of the "modern" versions and is a little smaller than other locations, but still big enough. With those modern versions, inside can seem like a maze and if you're used to the non-modern locations, it can take a little getting used to and knowing where you need to go. Everything was clean and well stocked. If you're going for movies, there's a very small selection for that. They also have CD's and of course vinyl. Of course they have the selection of books they always have and if something is not in the store, they can always order it for you. The employee who rang me out was very friendly and welcoming. This location shares the space with several other businesses and is part of a larger shopping area, which includes a Walmart. There is plenty of parking, though the overall parking lot is not the best designed. Overall a good location and one I'd return to if I'm in the area again.

The store was clean and the customer service was always friendly and prompt as they're selling their product, but when you are waiting on them...they are the worst! Got the eye exam and ordered glasses with contacts...waited several weeks before they called to say the glasses were ready for pickup. So, I went there and told them I was picking up my wife's order. The representative gave me the pair of glasses but didn't mention the contacts were in as well. After waiting a couple more weeks without any notification, I decided to call them to get an update on the estimated arrival of the contacts. It was at this time they informed me the contacts arrived prior to my first visit to pick up the glasses. Hence, I was not pleased to make a second trip to their store due to their negligence of not giving me the contacts with the glasses all at the same time. Also, having to initiate the call on the status of the contacts. It was just sitting within their contacts drawer with a note on it that they left a message. I spoke to the manager and informed him of the situation; he was helpless as he kept making excuses for his staff and did not take responsibility for the broken processes his staff had failed to connect the contacts and glasses to the same order! Overall, very disappointing experience with this ABC&E. I need to call corporate to highlight this location's shortcomings and hopefully fix their customer order notification process.
