4/27 I came to Wally World unexpectedly. I saw it on the way to my seminar so I stopped in. The greeter was really great and gave me the directions to the auto department. I saw the auto department from the outside but disregarded my reasoning to drive over, that's why I went inside and I had a long walk. Looking at the antifreeze I asked the associate if I needed assistance with finding the right antifreeze or do I just search. She replied that I can just search but if I needed help, she would summons someone. I eventually found the right product, paid for it and I was on my way to my destination. No problems, no hassle, just in, and out. Easy peasy! Now if all Walmart centers were clean, roomie, and offered great customer service like this one, I'd shop at Walmart. Too bad I don't live in this area, I'd become a loyal customer! Inspire more, Yelp more! read more

This is related to the Tire Service Center. There were several errors that occurred one after another. My 83-year-old mom clipped a curb in your parking lot, and the Belgium block had ripped her front right tire. She called me and I came to the store. Rather than calling AAA to have her tire changed, since there was a Tire Center right there, I drove the car over there and spoke to the sales rep, Diana, who was very nice and helpful to my Mom. She helped Mom and me choose an appropriate tire for her car. They took Mom's car right away. Mom's car is a 2106 Ford Escape, AWD. Now, anyone who has an AWD car knows (Which I forgot) you can't just change one tire, you have to change all of them. Mom's tires are original to the car; she has very low mileage. We took the car back the next day and explained and asked why didnt anyone mention that to us? I was told we should have been told. They took us in immediately and replaced the 3 other tires. That being said, the entire time, the message center on the dashboard said CHANGE OIL. Not one person asked if we wanted the oil changed. I wouldn't have had the oil changed there anyway, I had an appointment at Ford the next day. But they were in and out of the car at least 4 times, and no one mentioned it. The next day as I mentioned, I had an appointment for an oil change at Ford. Now, part of the oil change is a tire rotation. I get a call from the service manage at Ford telling me that all of the lug nuts are bad. Yes after some research lug nuts can go bad. I had Ford replace them. read more

The staff is awful, everyone is on their phones walking around like zombies. My aunt couldn't come in to shop because all the handicap scooters were gone, upon entering the store 3 scooters were being driven around like go carts by children and staff doesn't correct them. A messy experience, will have to go back to middle country read more

For the most part, this is a good store. The grocery section has reasonable priced but just the "Top Ten" items. (Try finding whole wheat pasta there or peach salsa). My greatest cavi,l though, is the sole restaurant in the store. It sells Philly Cheese Steak and spicy chicken wings and virtually nothing else. At my age spicy food doesn't agree with me and there is no alternative in the store. read more

It's Walmart, so you know what to expect. This location is in the same complex as my hotel on my Birthday trip to the East End. My hotel room has a full kitchen so I stopped in for a few supplies. It's not very crowded, so that's a plus. The signs on the aisles telling you what's in that aisle are large and easily read. Checkout was fast. However, on a brutally hot & muggy July day, more A/C would have been a nice touch. It wasn't terrible inside the store, but I think Walmart can afford to lower the temperature in the store a degree or 2. read more

Step right up! Step right up! The second Walmart Supercenter on the Island had its grand opening over a week ago in early December. The location is off the L.I.E., in a safe and secure neighborhood. Warning! Google Maps gave me directions to the north side of the parking lot. I had to drive about a mile through a residential complex before I reached the front entrance of the store. A friend of mine got better directions from Waze. I am here today, Sunday morning, December 12th, when there are plenty of associates to help me navigate the store. It is clean, the aisles are wide, and the shelves are nearly fully stocked and organized. The auto center is not yet open, and there are few holiday decorations. It looks like they rushed to open the store before the holidays. Things are still coming in though. There is a rotisserie section that puts out freshly roasted chickens by 11 am. It looks like Costco is getting some competition! Update: I bought one on Dec 16, and it tasted good. There is also a bakery, where custom-made cakes are made to order. A full-service deli with a "grab and go" has enough meats, cheeses, salads and condiments for a full picnic. The pharmacy is huge and has a drive thru. While this Supercenter is not as extravagant as some of the ones that I have visited in other States and in Albany, it is worth giving a try. read more

I've been going to this walmart since they opened as we live in the same development as the store. I placed an order for delivery, waited several hours, and when the driver arrived he asked me for a security code required to release the order. The problem is there IS NO PASSCODE. I don't have one on my account, and the order details where they tell you to get the passcode didn't list one. I called Walmart support, their stupid AI phone system only gives you 5 different choices to choose from, none of them relate to my situation, and no matter what I said, their system would just repeat "I'm sorry, can you say that again?". They make it IMPOSSIBLE to reach a live person, and after wasting 30 minutes trying to get a live person and failing each time, the driver took my delivery back with him so now I have no groceries and tons of frustration. I called the store, no one answered, and it's the second time I needed assistance since they've been opened, and the second time their phone just rang and rang. I want to like this location since it's conveniently close, but their processes are terrible and useless and they make reaching a live person to get assistance impossible. Don't waste your time with a Walmart+ subscription, and pray you never need to get customer support because all you'll wind up with is frustration instead. read more

The Queen Mother of Walmart's! Besides that it's new, the stock is amazing. Super center is an understatement. Full Walmart store plus full supermarket including produce, meat, bakery and frozen foods. Literally one stop shopping for anything and everything you need! Impulse buy at bakery, they have individual portions of pastries and cheesecake. WOW to both! Also have birthday cakes and sheet cakes if you need one on the fly. Pies, breads, cookies, donuts..full fledged bakery! I can't wait to go back. Worth the extra miles drive. read more

The doughnuts are amazing here especially the maple ones. Customer service is always not the best at Walmart buts it's expected. The store is nice and it's a super center so there is a lot. read more

I am visiting town and I went to buy less than 10 items last night . I had to go out of my way to go back and return 2 items tonight and take time away from my purpose of being here to visit an Ill family member . I am now getting sick so when I returned the items that were missing things I picked up a few items to help my symptoms . When I got back home to open up the box of hydrocortisone cream that I paid $9 for to use on myself because I needed it , I discovered one of the tubes is missing and it was a 2 pack . So now I can't even use the item that I needed to use tonight and they are now closed . I have to go back yet again to return this item because they ripped me off again ! What are the odds of all of the items in the store that o choose two days in a row that are missing things inside of the box ? It's not like they will let me open up the box inside of the store before buying it to make sure it's all there . I would never think to even ask that because I'm buying something from Walmart and not from a local drug dealer . Now I have to make another trip to this awful location that literally has loss prevention following me around the store a big Samoan looking man with long curly black hair and a Mets hat same guy both nights at the same time following me that's not at all random . Maybe if he was better at his job and followed around the people who are stealing things out of the boxes instead of me who's just a guy trying to get a few things pay and get on with my life . This is so infuriating to me because it adds to the ineptitude that they are paying people in street clothes to do loss prevention have facial recognition and cameras at every angle where you can't even scratch your nuts without someone coming to watch you and treat you like a criminal while the real thief's obviously have gotten away with stealing over and over . Or did I randomly just purchase 12 items in two days and pick the only two items that were tampered with ? I guess I should play the lottery tonight because those odds are one in a million or better . Either that or they have a serious issue with thievery at this location or a security team that is just completely inept at their job. I will return this item tomorrow and I will not be back again . If I need to go to any while I'm visiting Suffolk I'll just go to middle island or Riverhead because I don't have the time to go home open my items to find half the stuff missing and then go back there again to get it corrected . Who would want to have to go through that ? This location is a nightmare . If you are buying anything that's in a box from there make sure that you have them open it in front of you and confirm that it's all there if you don't have time to waste like me going back over and over because if someone else's carelessness and ineptitude . Time is money and it's your most valuable asset . Don't let this place take that away from you . Everyone deserves better than that . read more

Love this place all in one shopping. Although the store is fairly new, it is super clean (for now anyway) l did find the prices are a little higher then the Walmart in Centereach. However, they have a very large selection of groceries, a bakery, and a deli. The small downside there is no fresh fish. I just can't wait to see if they keep the store as clean as it is right now in the future. I went to go food shopping only and walked out with so much more as I went down every aisle, l noticed all the shelves were fully stocked, and found items l couldn't find in other Walmarts. Very satisfied. If you're looking for an east way to get there take William Floyd around then go back on Long Island Expressway north service road to the driveway there. There are less residential buildings and it seems a little closer then going the way Google maps tells you to go. read more

Brand new store just opened a few days ago. Stopped in here just to look around and check out the new store. It even has that 'New Store Smell.' Located on William Floyd Parkway in Yaphank just north of the Long Island Expressway. There is an out parcel building under construction, so there may be a few other stores going in there read more

The auto service is Walmart closes at 5:00pm. I get there at 3:00pm and told to wait by another car. 40 mins later someone who looks like they're the manager seem surprised I'm still there and I told him the guy working there told me to sit there then tell me they're short staffed and can't do it. Why have a department you can't run. If you couldn't do it that would been fine but don't have me sitting around for 40 minutes when I could've just gone to Jiffy Lube. Which is now where I am now. They took my car in right away and he told me I'd be done in a half hour! Should've known better not to try Walmart Auto. read more

I love Walmart but this location is the worst. Been here 3 times and every time it been a mess. 1. The photo lab doesn't work.... When I asked the kid who worked there if it's working or not he said " did it work for you"? I said no. His response was " WELL I GUESS IT DOESNT WORK". I said is that your answer? He responded with " YOUR PICTURES ARE NOT MY PROBLEM.. Great customer service ... a lot of shelves have little to no items. NO BAGS..... went there a few weeks later STILL NO BAGS - And photo lab is out. Gave a third chance last night 2 months after my first two experience's and still PHOTO LAB NOT OPERATIONAL AND NO BAGS... Great management. For a new store it's pathetic. All other Walmarts have bags... in 2-3 months they can't get bags? One employee told Me they had bags on grand opening only.... The rattled off a bunch of things that are not working there and management won't fix. We will be going to Target from now on. read more
