Today was my third interaction with Kohl's customer service each time I have interacted with them, I left the store happier than when I walked through the doors. The staff was extremely pleasurable. The management team was efficient and speedy. I can't believe even during Christmas time how great they handled customers and the busyness of the store. I shop Shilrley, NY Kohls store they have reduced the cashiers every time I go there are only two cashiers to handle purchases and returns waiting your turn gets VERY long- have tried self service and both times had problems and had to call one of the cashiers over anyway!!! problem I.e.- no register tape in self serve kohls is losing me as a customer I may as well shop online Not happy... read more

Wow Kohls used to have some nice product. I could always find something. Now it's crappy cheap clothing. You can't use rewards on any real name brand. The customer service at the Shirley , NY store is beyond terrible. Snotty young kids that don't know their jobs and don't care . Real attitudes . Lazy .... I don't usually leave reviews for chains like this unless it's exceptional one way or the other. This store gets that treatment. Shopping at this store is like any other Kohl's. It is not too exciting and they are all pretty much the same. It's the staff that makes a location great or otherwise. I came here late in the evening with my girlfriend who doesn't live very close to me. It was a last minute thing and to make it happen she needed clothes for her job the next day. So we took a trip to this store to grab a few things. When we got back to my house we discovered the cashier left the security devices on her purchases. Well at this time the store was closed and she had to leave early the next day so unfortunately she got the choice of wearing dirty clothes or look like a shop lifter. She opted for option 1. So the next day I take the drive (mind you it's not terribly close 20+ minutes away) to return a few of the items and get the devices taken off the ones she decided to keep. At least they didn't give me a hard time about that. I told the lady working the customer service counter that this is unacceptable. She just shrugged at me. I asked for the store manager to explain what happened and she had the same unapologetic vapid stare. I'm not a cheapskate but I was hoping for something like "hey we messed up we are sorry here is a 10% voucher good for today only thank you for choosing our store" but instead all I got was to waste upwards of an hour of my time. I don't need my time wasted because of other people's incompetence. I guess it's stupid of me to expect better but I do. Also while I'm not a mask cop but the knuckleheads in this store are the types who don't realize they breath through their nose and instead wear their masks like a chin diaper. To me that's like wearing a sign that says "Hello I'm an idiot". Avoid this store if you can. read more

I never learn, I must love punishment. I said I would never goto "Kohl's" and here I go again. I had a Kohl's card and figured why not and bought a pair of briefs for $25.00. I loved the briefs and life went on. I paid my credit card bills but neglected to remember to pay my "Kohl's" card. I'm not shifting blame, one hundred percent my fault. But it was like a day or two late. When I received my statement I noticed a late penalty for more then the briefs cost! Are you kidding me! I paid over $50 for three briefs. On top of all that when I went to pay the late fee, I gave the cashier my credit card, "Sorry we don't accept credit for payment." No way. Now I had to find a ATM and get cash, plus it wasn't my banks ATM so I was charged to use it. Three pair of briefs cost me time, effort and more importantly money. Kohls is going right down the toilet. Store inventory has reduced drastically. You try to order on line and the size you request is never available I placed an order over a month ago to be shipped. Tracking # has been saying for weeks that my order is on the way. Just called customer service and was told I should not expect my order as the items I ordered are out of stock! How is it I have a tracking number and confirmation my order is on its way and now I'm told its out of stock? Kohls is not what it used to be and I can see them being the next store to go under. Prices coupons ok . People nice BUT not enough help not enough workers in the store. When you need a question answered you have to wait for sales associate there's never enough help. Long cash register lines also. As far as inventory goes in the shoe department it's not. And it's very on organized. On the plus side they do get new wagons. That don't fit in the isles. read more

Only two registers are open when there is a lot more and every other employee dont want to take responsibillity to be a cashier and the line is extreamly long i almost had to wait 20 minutes to buy a item. read more

When visiting any kohls stores there are a few things you have to know, the first is that there are very long lines at all times, you will see about 15 checkstands but only about 2 or 4 at most will be open at any given time, the second thing is that you must buy items on sale or clearance because this store is very expensive for quality you can get at target and finally they have ALOT of their own brand which is ok quality, stores like this won't last another 5 years unless they fix pricing and convenience read more

Not the worst Kohl's. Not the best. Employees always seem rushed and irritated. The store is laid out a little oddly. Parking is a hassle.

Angela at the return desk accused my girlfriend of stealing a pair of boots that she was trying to return, but upon further inspection from someone who actually knew how to do their job correctly (after minutes of this employee arguing with my girlfriend needlessly) the boots were shown in the system as purchased and returnable. This employee deserves to be fired and i will be contacting cooperate. This is not a good representation of how any company should operate. read more

To start off two of the employees are doing their best so I do feel sympathy. My problem though is that there are up to 12-14 registers and only two are open when the line is beginning to wrap around the store with 15 plus people. I waited almost 20 minutes on the line to check out for one shirt because one of the registers were down. Now while the register people are doing their best I did notice that there were employees walking around the store yet there were none willing to assist with the registers meanwhile customers are complaining that the line is too long. Why should a department store with thousands of feet be supplied with the same manpower as a local 7-11 on the registers? I think this was bad management and I left the store angry. Props to the two on the register doing their best. To everyone else yell at your management otherwise this store will not last. I could of went to Macys for a fraction of the time and I would of been willing to pay the higher price for a shirt. read more
