We were a hit in NYC, people in Times Square were taking our photo, sometimes with us, and we got seated at Lillies, a Victorian themed restaurant without a reservation because they liked our look so much. I imagine they carry an item in every color, so wear your walking shoes because you could be there for hours. We approached a few staff zipping around and stopped one for help. We were told to go to customer service and request a Fashion Coordinator. The woman at the counter announced over the loud speaker for one to come to the service counter. After 15 minutes no one showed up. Off we went to fend for ourselves through dozens and dozens of dress racks. We picked out about 7 dresses and headed to the dressing room. Packed in like cattle my daughter tried on dress after dress. Some sizes weren't readily available and no one was at the computer that's ACTUALLY in the dressing room so I had to go out to the customer service counter to get assistance. There I did receive prompt service and a "runner" would fetch the correct size and hand it to me there. Not sure how long they've been in business but I feel like they've become complacent and don't really care about offering even basic customer service. Maybe they were overwhelmed because it's peak prom season but I noticed many moms and daughters trying dresses on and leaving them, without buying. Overall 3.5, with my two cents: care for your customers and they'll take care of you.

It was really nice of Dominique and Amanda to go out of their way and pull various pieces from their back stock for me to try on. Sadly, most of the pieces I really wanted were either much too big or much too small, but thats how vintage goes sometimes. I managed to leave with a 50s cotton dress and a 50s cotton circle skirt, both of which Im very thrilled about. Prices are slightly higher, but overall pretty fair. Theres pieces for every budget in this shop, without a doubt. I'll definitely visit again next time Im in town, and will certainly check out their social media regularly to see if theres anything I might want to have shipped to me.
