Honestly, my rating would have been a solid "3;" however, Debbie (toys) deserves ten stars for her assistance today. Plus, she even was sporting a festive holiday hat. She has been employed at Walmart for 27 years and her help was truly exemplary. I have been searching for reflective tape for my dog's service vest and my jacket. I would never have found it without Debbie (fyi it's back in a locked case near automotive). Only $5 a roll. I did find a great price on rocks (to paint kindness rocks). They were less than $4 per small bag. The shapes and sizes are perfect. I purchased three bags. I have a service dog and I am currently using a walker while I recover from a fall. There are employees who seem to do their jobs well. Although, one employee kind of rolled a cart into my walker. I didn't hear any kind of "please move" or "excuse me." The store was incredibly busy and checkout did not take too long. Always a plus! read more

ZERO stars!!! I only put one because they force you to. As my family and I shopped for Christmas presents, we witnessed some very poor and disturbing sights and behavior from the Whitehall, PA store's shoppers. We are a conservative Christian family and were forced to listen to one shopper cranking up some kind of ghetto foul language music, I assume, from his cell phone. Actually, let's not call it music. Mostly cuss words and the "F" bomb being dropped loudly around our children and many other kids. But not even an adult should be forced to hear that. No Walmart employee approached this punk to have him turn it off. I didn't want to shop at this particular Walmart to start with, but we were in the area and figured it would save us time. The frustration was NOT worth it. I WILL be contacting corporate as well!!! read more

We have shopped different Walmart's for ages,& this one is the pits. The produce manager should be fired; the whole section is a disgrace( rotted food everywhere). The deli never has more than 1 employee, isn't well stocked & it seems no one speaks or understands English, but a few do try. Employees are constantly on the phone with private conversations. The entire store is Spanish-oriented, but they should consider stocking for Anglo-Americans as well; after all, we shop here too. Drug area OTCs are under lock & key, and "you" have to get a clerk to unlock it, assuming you can get her off the register & they have attitudes to boot. The only bright spot is prescriptions and their clerks. There isn't another Walmart for many miles so we are stuck with this. read more

Bought a better homes and garden faucet on February 19th, the box was sealed with the plastic straps still around it. Nothing thinking about how all of the other box's were completely opened we bought one. The next day the plumber came out to install it and after installing it realized that there was no airater in the box. We have been in contact with Walmarts corporate and was told that it would be mailed out, it's been 3 weeks since and we still don't have the part. We were told to return it even though the plumber was paid to install it and it clearly do not return on the box. Called again today to be told that someone would be in contact in 3-5 days, which will put us at a month with no airater. Needless to say pay attention to what you buy from here or you may be in the same position. read more

Walmart has everything you need under one roof for the best price on the market. It blows my mind to see all the negative reviews. People just love to complain. I've been coming to this location regularly since they opened and never had a problem with anything. The one tip I would have is try not to go at peak hours when it's super busy. You might have a hard time getting a cart and/or finding certain items you're looking for. Before the pandemic I would always go late at night. read more

Came in for formula, his the button for an associate at formula cage. 3 times. 5 associates walk by couldn't call anybody to help me. Call the store to get someone from customer service no answer at all. 25 mins go by, finally get someone. Can only ring out at one register. Stupid. Wait in line another 20 mins because the family in front of me their coffee pot wouldn't ring up. And the new kid at register didn't want to bother the managers who are gossiping at customer service. 3 more employees walk by the flashing number 10 register..finally I start yelling and causin a commotion to get somebody's attention. So they can do their damn job. A quick visit turned into an hour long stressful visit. Because no employees can be found, and then when there is an issue. Everyone ignores it and walks by like it's not their issue so who cares. 4pm update: only used my debit card at Walmart today, got an alert at 4pm that my number was stolen and used to purchase products I didn't authorize. This Wal-Mart delivery service is inefficient. You pay a monthly fee to get your groceries to deliver and 3 out of my last 4 deliveries orders have been canceled. If I could give a 0 start I would because you call the store to get answers and no one picks the phone in that department, you call the 1-800 number and they have no answers. This is a very frustrating experience as they have no problems charging you the monthly service fee but will not deliver your grocery request as promised. They have a scheduling system where you pick available spots for delivery and 3 out my last 4 have been canceled with no notification. read more

One sent an email and gave an explanation but this last time there was no email or text. My first visit to this store was on a Saturday evening. That said I was expecting: 1. things missing from shelves 2. tired grouchy employees. 3. wall to wall people. I got 1 and 3. All the employees I came in contact with were most pleasant and helpful. Saturday is a tough day at a popular store like Wal-Mart so I understand that things will be slow and crowded. Most due to customers who walk like they drive. All in all, I had an incredible experience at this Wal-Mart. I will return whenever I'm in the area. read more

Worst store I've been to. Very chaotic, very often they are out of what you're looking for. Usually only 1-2 cashiers and the rest self checkout. If you do get a cashier most don't say hello, smile, or act like they even want to live. Returns are not pleasant, they have one person and often times there is a line of 8-10 people waiting. Convenient area in Whitehall among other shopping and restaurant destinations. Although large, not as well stocked in grocery areas, so looking for Ibotta offers typically a fail. Shopping carts can be out at the parking lots instead of in the entrance. Recommend self checkout to avoid long lines, and parking a bit farther away than the large crosswalk entryway. read more

I live on the third floor all I ask is for the driver to contact me when they're here and my husband will meet them downstairs to get the groceries. However this WalMart delivery location has been the worst. Four times so far they put my groceries as delivered when they delivered it to the wrong location. I've had to call customer service for them to track where they left the groceries and give me a refund. Today the driver did not contact me I happen to look at the time and then look at my email and I saw that my groceries had been delivered to my door which it was not so I went downstairs to check and this is where he had just left my groceries in the hallway for anyone to come and take one and take it wasn't even in my hallway it was on the first floor so I took the elevator down if I might go to sleep like this and all the drinks were not in bed this is the worst I've ever encountered. read more

I'm giving this walmart two stars to the manager of the store for retrieving our paid online purchase (a TV) off the shelf and allowing us to bring it home. As for the young man at the pick up window well, I've never seen anyone in customer service act so rude ever. He thought he was the best and was do clever. I paid for this item online at 10 am, the money posted to my account. We waiting until 1 pm to head for the store but the moment we arrived all we heard from him was him leachering us about how we should sit home and wait up till at least 4 pm. That's unheard of. It wasnt an easy trip there and since we made it there doesn't the customer have a right to take their merchandise? Yes we do! The manager knew how to handle the situation but the clerk was beyond pitiful! I'm never buying anything from this store again because of him. and I hope that consumers in that area read this. Absolute worst Walmart. Worse than Lehigh Acres, Florida, even by Walmart standards. Only about 1/3 of the items are stocked at any time of the day. The employees will fein deaf & the parking lot is a trash dump full of stray cats. I wish I was joking. They've recently (10/27/19) gone from 24hrs to open 6am to 1am because the only thing this Walmart is good for is shoplifting the minimal stock. I know I am breaking the un-written rule of reviewing a mega-franchise like Wal-mart, but I can't help but write this review. I know many of you are big into finding local businesses in hopes of discovering a true gem of a place of business, but for me, realistically, with a family of 2 daughters I have to budget my expenses. And for me that includes making the most of my money at Walmart. With this being said this Walmart is a DUMP! For months now I have gone only to find this place understocked with empty shelves, and sorely understaffed. At night, you have dozens of people stocking items and blocking the isle-ways for you the customer....yet somehow...I find many shelves to be empty. And just when I really really need something, its not in stock , of course. The real pisser. Going there at peak traffic hours and having only 2 to 4 cashiers at the most! The lines formed are so backed-up it reminds me of NYC traffic when I lived thier. Customer service??? These are some of the most rude people I have ever met in a franchise store! No way should getting my kids Juice and Bread become a 40 minute hassle. They wonder why people take the drive to Trexlertown, PA to head over to Super Wal-Mart. I have no clue how this store is a profitable venture for the Wal-Mart franchise. Avoid at all costs. read more

There really isn't much to say. If i lived 5 minutes away from this Walmart I'd drive an hour to the next closest one. This one is just ghetto. Simply put. I've needed to go to customer service once and the lady was rapping about getting off of work in 10 minutes and dropping the f-bombs to her friends while making plans for the weekend. Also I've been there late at night hoping i'd avoid the riff raff - who was I kidding. The People of Walmart are insane. I've stood int he only line open and waited 5 minutes for her and count her draw and for two other cashiers to watch her do it. While the line was 10 people deep. Not once did she say "I'll be w/ you in a moment" or how bout this... say open another line while you count your draw? I swear they hate their jobs and they make sure we know it. This Walmart is as bad as it gets. Like Jennifer P. said, it's ghetto. Shelves are mostly empty and despite the constant restocking during open hours there still isn't much. And sometimes prices are HIGHER than other locations!!! I had just left the Millcreek location when I realized I didn't have paper towel. Must have forgotten to put it into my cart even though I was perusing it for awhile. Since I was heading to Burlington, I figured I'll just pick it up here. Imagine my shock when it was a good $0.57 higher for a single roll!!! (I specifically needed a single roll for something.) And the customer service area is a small room to the left immediately after the entrance. Not sure why it's so small since there are always a line that wrapped around the corner into the store. I always felt bad because I feel like I'm blocking the way for people. Unfortunately it's also where the DVD/BR kiosk (Redbox I believe) is located so there are always people trying to squeeze by to get to their movies. The workers are more concern about what time they or their friends get off than helping people. It's the one thing I keep hearing no matter where I am in the store: "what time are you done?" There are some hardworking people there but sadly they're few and far in-between. And usually they're struggling by themselves moving pallets around while other workers stand by talking or flirting. It's ridiculous. I've tried asking for help at jewelry before and a couple people pretty much just tell me, "sorry I don't have a radio," and walked away. It's usually the kid sweating bullets maneuvering heavy pallets through crowded aisles that end up helping me because even if they don't have a radio they go searching for someone who does. Kudos to those who still know what customer service is. To the rest, Walmart needs to retrain them. read more

Not sure where the negative reviews came from. If you want to see bad, come to the Walmart in Valley Stream! This one is like heaven on Earth compared to the ones I've seen lately. It was very clean, the staff (whenever I could find someone actually working on the floor) didn't send you on a wild goose chase and the check out was quick. Bathrooms were nice and tidy and the aisles were free of clutter (unless you count this cute little girl who had random temper tantrums and literally rolled up and down the aisles). Of course we came for the sales and were not disappointed. Needless to say, we left happy! Overall: I'll be back very soon. read more

This place is a zoo. On my first visit here (2nd time in a Walmart ever) my full cart of home goods and food was stolen as I was picking rice off a bottom shelf. I looked around to see if an employee moved it and then after searching around, I found all my things unloaded on a shelf 3 isles over. Someone really though it to be less effort to do this instead of the 20 seconds it took me to bring a new cart. People are opening food and eating in isles. This should not be considered a reflection of all Walmart stores. I am just writing about the one in Whitehall, PA. I actually really like Walmart, just not this one. For a few reasons. First, from the outside it's a brand new building, but the inside always appears disorganized and unkempt. Like nobody picks up anything. Then it always seems that they don't have what I've gone there to get. Lots of empty shelf space, and in such a big store, its quite noticeable. There is also not enough lighting outside the building and in the parking lots. And finally, they built this 'brand new' store and did not put in a service center. I was VERY surprised when I went there because I needed a new car battery and found out there was nobody there to assist with picking a battery. And beyond that, I had to carry the battery to the front of the store to pay for it, I had to take it home and find someone to help me change it out with the dead one in my car, and then I had to take the old battery, put it in my car, and take it back to customer service of all places to get the 'core' deposit back. And where will I go to get tires mounted and oil changed, etc. etc. Seems wrong to sell all those things and then not have the capability to get them installed/serviced. And when I asked when the service center part of the store will be opened the response I got was, "There is no service center planned for this store." Well, I say, although its brand new, larger and more inventory - major downgrade. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The store is disgusting, the customers who frequent the place are as miserable as the place (and employees) look. I've been threatened with physical violence by other customers multiple times and received not an ounce of care or help from employees. If an item is locked inside a case that you need, just forget about the hope of one of the lazy employees coming to unlock it for you. At one point I waited over a half hour (and asked for help FIVE TIMES) and still nobody showed up to unlock the case. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Seriously. I would give this zero stars my last order a month or LI f ago I had delivery for 3pm-4pm my order was not delivered until after 8:30pm and the driver took some of my items! So o wait hoping this will be better by NOW order last night for delivery 1pm-2pm it is now the NEXT day and there is no word on my order. I asked to speak to the delivery department waited 6 mins they picked up and hung up on me. Asked to speak to a manager held for 10 mins before I just hung up. This Walmart is the biggest shit hole that I've ever seen. Merchandise was thrown all over the place. There were empty boxes in the middle of the isles from the employees stocking shelves. Employees were re-stocking the shelves and wouldn't even step aside to allow me to grab the item I intended on purchasing, despite the fact that I said excuse me. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting (there was literally shit on the seat). Lastly, there was one register open and about 30 people in line. (I'm not exaggerating). I placed all of the items I was going to purchase on a jewelry counter and left. Oh, did I mention the employees were rude as well as the customers. Worst Walmart experience ever!!
