Going to Trader Joe's is usually the same experience, no matter which location you visit. The attendees are always hyper nice, the food is unique and reasonably priced, and you walk away feeling like it was a good experience. You can try something from their sample station such as a small drink or a bite of a new product they're featuring. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For the kids, there's a hidden animal to find and then lollipops and stickers as their treats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You really can't go wrong here

I went to Trader Joe's to pick up some blue hydrangeas for a baby shower. Not only were they absolutely beautiful, they were a great price! 3 stems for $5.99!!! I ended up getting 12 because they were SO perfect. As I looked at hydrangeas, I noticed that all of their fresh flowers were beautiful and reasonably priced. When I checked out, they even gave me a bucket with some water to get them home. I will certainly think of Trader Joe's when I need or want beautiful flowers.

I came here primarily in search for nutritional yeast but ended up with a whole lot more! First of all it is nearly impossible to get parked here. Trader Joe's sits on the edge of a very small strip mall and directly across from it is Chick Fil-A. Believe me I parked anywhere I could to get a spot. Inside the produce was fresh and their Joe's Os are quite a bargain compared to Cheerios!! Even a dozen eggs were a bit more reasonably priced than what you would find at a typical grocery store. It was easy for me to spot my nutritional yeast and I was able to secure two bags of it for my cooking needs. When you enter you see fresh plants and flowers along with produce for sale. They had a good selection to choose from. Each section is clearly marked and there are signs indicating gluten free items. They have quite a lot of frozen delicacy's I never heard of before but I decided to try the "Everything but the bagel" mini crackers, salmon burgers, cous cous, white quinoa, and anything that looked like a bargain. They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan items to choose from. I saw the non dairy oat creamer with brown sugar was a hot item so I helped myself to that. I found a bargain with salmon burgers and was glancing at mahi mahi burgers along with shrimp burgers. They do have quite an assortment here. There are plenty of check out lines and you can either bag your items or they will bag them for you. I was very pleased with my visit since you can find good food at reasonable prices. Looking forward to coming back in the near future.

This might be the greatest thing ever created. Sooo good - especially on avocado toast :-)

It was recently renovated just in time for the NFL Draft to allow more accessibility and better space for events. In the public area, there are some tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the area. They also seem to plan to have a lot more semi-permenant attractions in the space. Currently their is a roller rink (which is surprisingly affordably priced) . It has historically been home to the Holiday Market (which was moved into the theater area this year because of the construction). I hope the market does move back because Market Square was definitely the better space for it. There is plenty of parking nearby in garages, surface lots and street parking. The one downside is that it is really tough to drive through, especially with the way the renovated it. Drivers seem to be stopping to take in the new look or don't understand directional signage so there is often traffic backups.

The square has a covered area now too, with lots of seating so it can be enjoyed year round. There's so many great restaurants and cafes around the square, and there's expanded outdoor dining at a lot of the restaurants, as well.

Another stop on our Strip District Food Tour! Labad's…read moremimics of gas station convenience store and an ethnic grocery store combined. Shelves are lined with canned goods, fresh ingredients stored in baskets to buy by the pound, and for some reason branded tourist soap bars. For the Food Tour, we were treated to the fresh hummus and pita. The hummus was very fresh - the owner even discussed how he made it over the last evening, but the pita was extremely dry and flavorless. He was clearly a true chef and creates amazing cuisines. So it is very disappointing that the store has to morph into a touristy shop. The hookah and culture items make sense somewhat, but the Harry Potter and Star Wars themed soap bars just seem like a gimmick that takes away from the true essence of the store. If you like hummus, you should definitely grab a container of the fresh made. But honestly, I doubt many people stop here based on the appearance.

I had purchased some elsewhere recently, but felt compelled to stop in to see Labad's selection. The store ambiance is welcoming, and the man who assisted me was kind and calm when he showed me several types of halva. I chose the Lebanon Valley Halawa Plain. As soon as I got home, I tried a small piece. Oh, my gosh!! I couldn't believe how much better it tastes than any other brand I have tried. What a wonderful flavor and texture! Just perfect. I highly recommend Labad's.
