so two days ago I go to stand in line at the Tire and lube area. First cust in line they took 15 mins to find his keys, second customer in line they had his car for two days and it still wasn't ready, me I'm the third customer in line and he tells me can't order those online from me and walks off outside. I of course let him know how RUDE he was. This is the second time I have Walmart associate in middle conversation walk away. first time I was trying to get my oil changed. At this point I will not allow a third time of standing in line for twenty minutes to not even be signed up or spoken to for less than a minute. I would give them no stars but I can't. I've been a Walmart Plus customer for many years because I don't own a car and I have to have delivery. The past few orders I've received have been missing items and 2 weeks ago, they didn't even deliver until the next day because the drivers that Walmart uses suck (and in store employee had to deliver that order). Last week I ordered grocery delivery and had an 8-9 delivery window. It got pushed to 9-11. My groceries were never delivered. I cancelled the order and they held on to my money for four days. Yesterday, I almost threw a spaghetti squash across the store after learning it was $11.00 at self-checkout. You read that right, an $11.00 spaghetti squash. This morning, I had a 7am appointment to have tires put on my car. At around 7:30, I was told Automotive would open around 9 as they had to call in a different employee for the one who called in. I had an appointment at the Lockhart TX store at 10am on Saturday, September 28, 2024, and it took them TWO AND A HALF HOURS to install my tires. Not to mention that they couldn't balance my tires because the ONLY person that does it, called in that day. Then, they made me pay the $40 of "road hazard protection warranty" even though I am a Walmart+ member and it was already included with the installation. I called the San Marcos store and they told me they accepted walk-ins but because I already had an appointment, IT WOULD ONLY TAKE LESS THAN AN HOUR, to balance my tires. I left Lockhart, risking my life with half work done, to the second nearest Walmart in San Marcos, so they could balance them. When I arrived at San Marcos, I told them everything that happened. They said it was negligent from the other store to even offer me to install my tires if they were not going to balance them. That it was dangerous to drive with tires unbalanced. And they also told me that Lockhart couldn't do it because they ran out of weights, meaning I was also lied to. They went ahead and refunded the $40 I paid but it appeared that my balancing appointment at Lockhart WAS CANCELLED by the store. So, they accommodated me in. The worst part is, i waited 5 HOURS to finally get my tires balanced. NO ONE NEEDS TO WAIT THAT LONG FOR A 1 HOUR SERVICE. They didn't offer anything to make it better, they just said it was unfair to me and that was it. Very unprofessional, negligent and this is unforgivable. I hope management sees this and make necessary changes to the way they manage their automotive services. A total of 7 HOURS it took to install and balance my tires. UNBELIEVABLE! read more

Needed vehicle covers in hand, not delivered 2nd day. Been years since I darkened their doors but I vaguely remembered where automotive was. Saw a few employees, all were masked. They had what I needed on the shelf (Target did *not* last night), and the price at the register was less than what had been listed in the aisle. Self-checkout only (which I hate) and they check your receipt on exit like it's a club warehouse. I understand inventory maintenance, I just get grumpy about having to be checked at the door when they won't pay cashiers and it's not a store I want to be in in the first place. Came here with my parents to get alcohol for a birthday party tonight. Loaded up the cart and went to self checkout on the household items side. After ringing everything up, the helper ( older white lady ) informs us that she needs to see everyone's IDs. I was with my parents who had their IDs but I did not have mine with me. She said she will not sell us the alcohol and told us to leave saying she will make sure no one sells to us. She then said she doesn't like people buying alcohol because she doesn't like it. Terrible experience at the San Marcos store today. Wanted to buy press-on nails but the cabinet was locked! Then I went to look at the eyebrow pencils and they were locked up too. And not an employee in the dept to unlock the cabinets. Had to call the store for assistance. Didn't buy the nails cause too much trouble to find them again and other customers were waiting. Tried to get 2 keys made but they only had blanks for the house key, none for the car key. Tried to buy a funnel but all they had was a giant one or a tiny one. When I was done shopping, it was self-check-out only! It will be a loooong time before I go back to this WalMart! read more

Eye Center's service is being full of crap! I got new eyewear lenses with tinted. I went outside and didnt show a dark tint. So I went back and told it wasnt effective or didnt go noway close to my previous eyewear glasses. It went very dark. Inside my house for at least 30 min, still show tinted very light. This guy told me because I had a cap or cloudy day. He think he can fool me because I am DEAF (and dumb). I assure he is not sincere and stupid. He put the glasses under the ultra light and went very dark. It isnt the same as I went outside and put my glasses outside table on a bright sunny days. They are not doing anything about it. I brought my car, and after I experienced a flat tire from a pothole on the interstate. I told the person that my car is old and it requires certain techniques to get in and drive the car. However, sales person stated that I couldn't drive the car in, Now I'm having electrical issues with the power windows, and I'm sure I'm going to have problems with my clutch since it's 24 years old. We have the worst Walmart. I am not a regular shopper - usually go a few times a year. But I will NEVER step foot in the SM Walmart (and likely any Walmart) ever again. Masks not enforced, They ran out of bags - but then it turned out they weren't out of bags, but they told me they were. Expected me to carry canned goods without a bag. Made NO EFFORT to find a bag. When I said I would just leave the cart - reply "no problem" "have a nice night". Nobody wants to help. The "Manager" I asked to talk to wore a yellow vest that clearly said "Associate." Customer Service associate knocked on the metal door where the managers sit and they would not come out. The sign said to call Jimmy Swaim with any complaints (see photo below) and the number was posted. Of course the number did not work to actually talk to the manager. Whatever ever happened to the yesteryear Walmart? Sam believed in putting the customer first, it's obvious the Store at San Marcos does not believe in his concept. The overall appearance of the store is below standard, the restrooms smell, and there is zero customer service. You would think since this Store Manager was a previous market manager, the operations and appearance of the store would be spotless. This is a horrible example of a Walmart store. Go to the Kyle or New Braunfels locations, much nicer and 100% better customer service. this is basically for the pharmacy. This is got to be the absolute worst run around experience I've ever had with Walmart. They texted on the 15th. My prescription was ready I got there. They said it wasn't ready. Come back tomorrow. Went back after another text got there it was not ready. Was told I would have to wait until next Tuesday got a text it was ready got there. They said my prescription had been put back and would have to be refilled but they were going on break. This is just like Walmart first. You have to check yourself out now you have to stay on top of pharmacy to get your prescriptions. Now I've been waiting another two hours at the store and the bitch that is waiting on me. My name is Dani Rauschuber and I just left the Walmart in Kyle, Tx. I went in to get some things for my students at school. When I checked out the prices were different than what is posted. I took it to the Customer Service Center to get it adjusted. The clerk was standoffish for the entire exchange. He began to argue with me about how I wanted to proceed saying that that was "not what you said" and he was quite rude in how he kept arguing with me. It only ended up taking him a few minutes extra time, but he was giving off the vibe that I was really bothersome - however, it is supposed to be a customer service desk... I asked for his name and a Manager. He said his name was Adrien, but he never actually turned over his badge, so I'm not really sure that is who he was. A "Customer Service Manager", Zay (whose badge is also turned over), comes right over as he was literally just standing there watching the whole interaction and not doing anything about the rudeness. Zay looks at me with a blank expression as I explain and he says "ok". I asked him if that was all he was going to do, and he said " I listened to you", clearly not willing to do any more. I then asked for a store manager and Zay says "unfortunately, there is not one available" . Then tells me "have a good evening", in a mocking tone. Behind him, a young lady, does the same thing, telling me to have a good evening, but she was even more condescending. As I walked away, the whole group of about 7 or 8 individuals behind the desk observing this whole interaction, began to talk about me and congratulated Adrien and Zay on how I was handled. I was not even 10 feet away from them. I have never been treated like this as an adult. This type of mob mentality is outrageous and I've only ever experienced this type of behavior when I was in Jr. High from a bunch of immature, mean spirited, bullies. I suppose this is how the so called "Walmart Customer Service Department" treats customers over a return and repurchase. Now I know to not step foot in a Walmart, if I expect to be treated with respect, because they only let the rude, immature, approval seeking, followers work the Customer Service Desk. read more

The last 3 times I visited this Wal-Mart, I've seen people entering the store without a mask. The greeters told them to wear a mask, but they entered without anyway. Nothing was inforced, they did their shopping without ever being approached by an employee. The stores lights are turned off in the back area and the isles are more narrow then ever. Bathrooms are consistently disgusting. I'd rather drive to Kyle from now on to shop at that Wal-Mart. read more

Took my car in for a quick oil change and was very happy when the clerk told me it was free. When I left and got back to my apartment saw that my check engine light was now on and also realized that the oil change hadn't actually been free because whoever was in my car had stolen $40 from my center counsel. The manager didn't seem to care so it's just my word versus theirs and obviously, the manager took the side of the employee who stole my money so there was no resolution. read more

Hate to say it, but the Walmart in Kyle is so much cleaner and nicer. The parking lot of this Walmart in San Marcos is dirty and the store is not really that clean either. I hate this Walmart so much. I order all my grocery orders. One time I received the wrong order. The next time items were missing from the order. The next time the person delivering the order was extremely rude. The next time I didn't receive my $50 order and when I kept trying to call customer service that evening they left the phone ringing for over an hr. I ended up calling them the next day and when someone finally answered after about 30 minutes they told me I should've contacted them the night before and there was nothing they could do about it. The next time the order was scheduled to be delivered at 8:30 pm. I did not receive a notice the order was going to be canceled until almost 11 pm. I have to get up at 5 am every morning. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not shop here. Go to the one in Kyle. Their employees and customer service is amazing. read more

I was din the area for business and I bought a lot of "extras" being in a different state and have 2 kids with me. On Thursday, I came in to return the "extras" that we didn't need and I came in at 745. Customer service doesn't open until 8 so I just sat down and was patiently waiting for few seconds when the lady at customer service greeted me with a smile and took care of my returns so I didn't have to wait longer.
