Terrible customer service in the pharmacy. literally just walked out right now because I was never helped. Apparently you're not a customer if you're not in the car. I arrived and they said they would help me shortly. They then proceeded to take multiple cars as they would pull up without putting me in the line to be helped. So I just sat there while they ignored me. Just a thought, if there are cars and people waiting you should rotate between them and have them in the same "line "to be fair to people. It's just simple decent respect. Ended up just walking out without even a word of apology or care. read more

If zero stars was an option that would be most fitting. I am forced to use CVS because of my insurance. The last two times I've gone through the drive thru, the pharmacists and techs are very unfriendly. I was the only one in line and was asked to drive back around again because they "are timed. " soooo... inconvenience the customer so that your "timing reports" can be false. Heaven forbid you have a question about your prescription, they made me feel like it was a complete inconvenience to ask questions. AND... the pharmacist didn't answer the questions, she literally made the tech run back and forth. Rediculous! ! read more

This review isn't for the business in general, just one employee in particular. I was coming from Austin to the area & wanted to know if the store carried my particular brand/shade of hair dye before I drove the 40 miles & after I finally got through the automated message & to an actual associate, I started asking if there was an associate available that could check if the product was in stock for me before I drove all the way there. I got hung up on mid-sentence. I called back, asked again very politely. The associate's response was: "We have what's on the shelf". I said "I understand that, but I'd like to know if someone could check for this particular shade for me so I know if you carry it." I was put on hold while she "looked for someone" (not sure why she couldn't check for me herself as I have never a day in my life seen this CVS busy), but she came back saying "no one can check for you, you can look on our app". Yes thank you, because downloading an app & searching for a product that may or may not be current & up to date is exactly what I want to do while I'm driving on the highway. Seriously annoyed at being polite to a sales associate that couldn't be bothered to walk 10 feet to the hair aisle to answer a simple question. Definitely won't be coming here again. read more

Completely no help and rude. I was waiting to pay for gum to get cash back. Whoever was in charge needed to explain to her associate while they kept waiting. After that when the guy finally came to ring me up and I asked for cash back he said he can only do it once per customer. I didn't even as for cash back a 2nd time but he felt to make it clear in a jerk way. I'll never be coming back here that's for sure. read more

When you have a swollen foot thanks to an introduction to Texas red ants, it's nice to get in and out of a pharmacy with your meds so that you rush back to your apartment and hide what appears to be elephantiasis to the more ignorant or hypochondriacs of the world. CVS pharmacy did that for me. Thank you kind white coated folks. I was literally in and out in less than 10 minutes. And now my foot is back to normal. read more

Requested prescription early Friday thru app . Got confirmation . One ready one out of , had to order. Sunday drove over asked why I wasn't notified until I came into store. No answer. Asked did you call other Cvs locations. No do you want me to. She called one. She then lied and told me she had tried to call my husband and myself but got no answer. I told her it was a lie neither of us had a missed called and hadn't been without our phones. She looked at me like a deer in headlights. Switching to walgreens. No customer service, no follow thru and most of all straight out lying . read more

The pharmacist was extremely helpful. She was very busy but still took time to call the doctor's office since the doctor said they had not received the multiple faxes she sent. You can tell that this pharmacist cares about people and their well being. Thank you for doing your job and going the extra mile to take care of people in the community. read more

I don't know what it is about this place, but the pharmacists here seem to operate slightly outside of the normal space-time continuum that the rest of us exist in. No matter how small and innocuous your prescription, it will take these guys for frickin' ever to fill your prescription unless you call ahead by at least two hours. I recently had to fill a prescription for Tamiflu, and I thought they were just waiting for me to die in the waiting area so they didn't have to fill my prescription at all. It took them practically an hour to fill my prescription, and I was the only one there waiting. Perhaps they had just gotten a slew of phone-ins, but if so there wasn't much of a flurry of activity going on behind the counter. The pharmacist and his staff were plodding along at their usual out-of-time crawl. They're also incredibly inconsistent with calling you to let you know if your prescription is ready. I've signed up for auto-refill, but it only works about 75% of the time. If there was a better option in San Marcos, I'd switch there, but I'm pretty sure all the pharmacies in town have the same issues. read more
