Toys on clearance as of 1/11/2025.

A lot of things are in cases. I normally just bypass it. I hate waiting. It's inconvenient and there's always Amazon. I came for potting soil. I was disappointed they had two kinds. One for about $5 and the other for $10. They were the same size. Nothing bigger. Lines were decent. We bought alcohol so had to go to the cashier checkout line.

Went to Walmart, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The place was buzzing with activity, but it came with its quirks--ran into some interesting characters. The self-checkout shutdown didn't do any favors; lines were stretching forever, making things a tad frustrating. Customer service was alright, nothing extraordinary. Navigating through the crowds and waiting in the long lines was a bit of a hassle. Overall, a typical Walmart run--busy, a bit chaotic, but got what I needed in the end.

I purchased Great Value spam from this location on 10/10/2025. When I got home and opened the can it was moldy. The packaged date April 10 2025 and the exp is 4/10/2030.

Purchased a cart full of stuff, and had my small child with me. They don't allow the buggies to leave the store. The security guard asked me to pull my car up, and he loaded my bags. I was so thankful, as trying to run back and forth to get bags to the car with a 5 year old would have been a nightmare. Also, had a positive interaction with employee working in Layaway. As we were passing, she said hi to my daughter, who loves to talk. This lead to a positive and meaningful conversation. Two acts of human kindness in one day. Go Burlington. I will definitely be returning. I didn't give it 5 stars because of inconvenience of not being able to take carts out of store. Also, lines were pretty long unnecessarily. I saw too many employees in the store for there to only be 2 cashiers. However, overall, I was pretty happy with experience.

The staffs were always dressed up professionally, stylish, neat, and different everyday, and they were all welcoming. The many departments they once had were also awesome: linens, accessories, sportswear, coats to baby depot were all great departments to explore as they stocked new items occasionally. The store was so great and they had the greatest merchandises, that the only thing they lacked was not having enough security to protect their assets. Burlington stood out from all other competitors out there, which made it big and an attraction to many people from cities that didn't have Burlington store. But, today it is pretty sad that Burlington has downgraded to become just like another DD Discount and Ross(just another small retail store in the city). DD Discount and Ross are already great for being small retail stores. With that said, why do you need to go to Burlington nowadays, when their selection is the same or not even as great as DD Discount and Ross. I miss the old BCF, on Florin Rd. BCF, today is known as Burlington only now, and it will never be the same again. The end,

Adj: New Novelty Store with a lot of cute stuff!…read more Ahh, my kids wanted to check this store out. It's definitely a fun place for kids. We had tried to come by in July sometime as it looked like it was newly opened, but when we got there it wasn't ready so we ended up shopping at Five Below next store. This time, we were able to finally shop at this brand new Miniso. Southgate Plaza isn't a shopping center we frequent a lot, but we come by to eat at Yum Buffet every so often, and after a big meal, we like to walk around at one or more store in the plaza to walk off some of our overindulgence, oops (gluttony is one of the 7 deadly sins after all, lol). In any case, we're glad to see that most of the vacant stores, some of which had been vacant for a few years since the pandemic years, have now been filled with new tenants, and Miniso is definitely a welcomed store, I'm sure for Southgate Plaza. So I had assumed that Miniso is a Japanese company b/c of its name, but apparently Miniso is a "global lifestyle and variety store chain founded in Guangzhou, China, in 2013 by Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guofu," according to Google, haha. At first, Miniso started with "a heavily Japanese-inspired brand identity, utilizing minimalist design cues, Japanese script on packaging, and associating with Japanese design concepts to position itself alongside brands like Muji and Daiso." Ha, so I was right that it's trying to be like a Japanese novelty store. BUT, as Miniso grew rapidly outside of China, it "shifted part of its strategy toward licensed intellectual property (IP) products, partnering with major global names like Disney, Marvel, and Sanrio to offer popular blind boxes, plushies, and themed merchandise." So that's why this store if FILLED with licensed novelty items with characters you will definitely recognize from anime, and brands like Sanrio, Disney, and more! My kids particularly like the Hello Kitty, Miffy, and Pooh characters, but there are lots of less cutesy characters too, such as superhero characters from Marvel. From T-shirts and hoodies, to fanny packs and cross body bags, to sling bags and backpacks, there were so many different styles and colors to choose from if you were looking for a purse/bag. Another section of the store had beauty, bath and body, and cosmetics, as well as haircare stuff, and the back of the store had a lot of cute food like drink cups, mugs, water bottles, tumblers, lunch boxes and even bento boxes. Everything's super cute w/characters printed on, but most items were on the pricey side. However, they do periodically put certain categories/sections of items and/or brands/characters on sale, so be sure to check out the store regularly. We had fun checking out this huge store, it's definitely the biggest Miniso stores we've been to around Sac. And as a standalone store, I think it's way bigger than even the one on the 2nd floor at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville. We plan to be back, especially for finding a gift for our kids' friends, this would be an easy place to find the perfect item.

So the wife and kids were talking about this place and I don't know about it. It sounds like a…read moreDaiso but it turns out to be quite different. This is more like a novelty items store. As I walked in, I realized this is definitely a kid's paradise and maybe a parent's wallet or pocketbook (do people still use those?) emptying type of shopping place. Prices were quite sticker shock level for some things here. My kids were so excited as they looked at all the Disney and other cartoon and movies branded character stuffed toys, character figurines, key chains, cups, mugs, toys, logo T-shirts, etc. You name it and they prob have it here with an animated character printed on it. I didn't see many things I'd be really interested in honestly as I'm pretty sure I'm not this store's target customer. But I saw some cool t-shirts that I would venture to wear, and there were some not obviously girly or teeny bopper items that were actually kind of cool like Star Wars figurines and shirts and whatnot. All in all, a fun place for kids, teens, and the big kids at heart to shop and find fun things for themselves or as gifts. I know this would be the place to be for me to get birthday gifts for my kids. Till next time!

They also never let me hold the tester, spraying a blotting paper and handing the paper to me as she looked at her watch to check what time she was likely getting off work. Yikes! Marshalls is located behind at the end of a indoor shopping mall. As it turns out Marshalls is at the end of a sad indoor shopping center and isn't connected with the kiosks. It's so confusing. The rest of the main shopping center has their entrance on the outside, they aren't a shop inside another shop. I bet this totally doesn't make sense. If you see it you understand know what I'm talking about. I found a couple of treasures that I took home with me. I found some banana boat 50 spf lotion for only $5 and a Oakland A's T-shirt form only $6. Both items were on clearance. My husband will love the lotion as it's his favorite. He finds it really moisturizing. I on the other hand love my new t-shirt. I'm excited to have a new T-shirt to wear at the next game. The one I have is over 10 years old and is wearing out. It is really cool as it's a hello kitty shirt. They have lots of Jolie brand Shampoo and Conditioner. I used to use that brand all the time. However, Josie was extremely pushy about getting me to open a Marshalls/TJX credit card. I politely said "no thank you" multiple times during the first transaction -- probably around 10 times -- but she continued bringing it up throughout the second and third transactions as well. I understand employees are probably encouraged to promote the credit card, but once a customer clearly says no, it should be respected. Being asked repeatedly made the checkout experience uncomfortable and frustrating. If you don't shop at Marshalls, TJ Maxx, or HomeGoods often, I would also think carefully before opening another store credit card just for the checkout discount. 3/5 stars. Friendly service, but the repeated credit card pressure really took away from the experience.
