What an awful experience. This was one of the worst experiences of shopping at Walmart I've had. The staff didn't even speak English. I was in 3 departments and not one could understand me nor I them. What a disgrace to America. BOYCOTT WALMART AMERICA. This location opened up right across the street from my neighborhood a few years back and we we're so excited. A NEW Super Sized Walmart in our small town?!? So accessible and convenient. I've kept going due to that last adjective but after today I'll be joining my friends in boycotting the corporation. EVERY time I come into this location I'm followed/stared at like I'm stealing something. They obviously ignore the fact my family provides financial stability MULTIPLE times a week with how much we visit the store. Not a month, but a week. You'd think associates here would recognize you because of that, but the rollover rate is ridiculous here. Especially in the cashier department as it is with most Walmart's. Their stock is never full, and besides corporate always visiting, I can't see what they're really doing to improve the store. When I called a manager to deal with a situation at the register, two came over, neither resolved anything and on my way out an associate actually told me to call the corporate number as the manager at this store may "brush it off". Wow, great confidence in your own team and even though I'm grateful for the advice, if further proves their lack in desire to truly fix their customer service issues. read more

I did have issues with a cashier not knowing their job and not SPEAKING ENGLISH. That really pisses me off, hiring people that barley can understand what you are saying and what is going on. Problem with bakery order. I went to the bakery to order a 2-foot sandwich yesterday. Done the same before and was happy. Orders before were handled by the manager and were good. Yesterday, around 6 pm, an older man who spoke very poor English and was very impolite and inpatient demanded that I hand-write everything in their menu (despite it was a standard order and well handled by the manager before). Arrogant and poor communication. Promised to make the sandwich today. But today when picking up, I found they only put in half meat in, and no sauces/mayo. The lady at counter today could barely speak English and could not understand my compliant. Basically I paid $18 to get a $9 worth of food. I understand this store opened during pandemic and might have hard time fill in the positions with qualified employees. But still, if you cannot function to reasonably satisfy the customers, why don't you close the service until you find qualified folks to work there? A huge disappointment. read more

The contact lense/eyeglass department certainly lacks INTELLIGENCE in customer service. I simply call in to see if they have contact lenses in stock matching my prescription. The lady told me that they didn't and she stated that my prescription expired. She said I would need to have a current prescription faxed over to them. Keep in mind she already told me that they didn't have my specific prescription in stock. Something wasn't right, and I knew I was given misguided, incorrect information over the phone. I decide to drive up there, with my current and valid prescription in hand. Sure enough I was told that they had my current prescription on file and that they did in fact have the contact lenses in stock. Unbelievable. POOR communication and misguided information. Normally, I wouldn't even take the time to rate Walmart,CVS, or Walgreens, but in this situation I had to. It bothers me because this lady may well in fact be providing customers who call in with incorrect information. That's bad for business because you are telling that person that they will need to have a prescription faxed over and/or they don't have your contact lenses in stock. Convenient and never had an issue so far. Of course like most Walmart's, there is only a few registers open and just now there was no self check out lanes open and only one register open. It wasn't a long line though, so yay. I always fill up my gas tank for our vehicles at the Murphy gas station right across Walmart, it's 1.56/gallon at the moment. I give them 3 stars because I never by produce there, it's not fresh and flavorful! Also, too many registers built at all locations and never enough open at check out. read more

I bought a battery for my off road vehicle and when I took it home and hooked it up it was completely dead. I returned it, the next day, with the receipt and they would not take back the faulty battery. Or replace it!! $84 $12 for core + $3 for some fee. The manager, Robbie, was completely rude and practically accused me of stealing it. How can they not take back a piece of equipment that is not any good the day after it is bought? I am never shopping there again and I recommend that everyone else watch what they buy from Walmart. And that girl should be fired!!! read more

When Ken the "manager" finally came, he checked my ID for 10 minutes (not exaggerating) to make sure it was real (which it is) then said he couldn't do it. I went to Walmart last night to buy stuff for a cake I was making for my friends birthday and I accidentally left one of the items. Unfortunately it was already fairly late in the evening, (like 10:30) and I didn't have time to go back last night so called to have it taken to customer service so I could pick it up the next day. So I called the correct number, and waited while it rang for 4-5 min. A guy answered and I told him I had left something and started to tell him what it was and he cut me off saying "Ma'am" over and over, then proceeded to tell me he was in the back of the store and I would just have to come look before hanging up on me. I never got his name but the whole thing was just very rude. And then I called back this afternoon when I got off work and let them know and the lady told me they'd fix it as long as I had the receipt. But when I told her what happened to me on the phone last night she very monotonously told she was sorry and then proceeded to hang up on me herself... Like what? Went to this location at 12:45pm on June 26 and witnessed a spectacle be made out of a older women who was not charged for cases of water by cashier. This was not the customer fault yet she was accused of trying to steal the water. This is an example of the lack of customer service training as the cashier improperly checked out the basket of the consumer. As a cashier especially when assisting the elderly you are responsible for ensuring all the items in the basket are accounted for. This is not the customers sole responsibility especially when they are older and may have memory loss. Granted if this is the case the customer should have a companion with them to assist in their daily excursions. However in this case the lady did not display any mental disabilities as she and passerbyers offered to go back and pay for the unrung items. read more

Terrible! The lines here are very long! All I wanted was beer and some snacks for the big football game. I waited forever to pay for my stuff and the whole time I felt like I was being herded like cattle. Additionally, some of the employees were not friendly and I could hardly understand their English. Racist workers! Lady at the front door around 12:00-12:20PM on May 8th was telling another coworker that everyone needs to speak English, this upset me so I called, the lady who answered the phone acted like I was putting her out of her way to ask for a manager and she didn't have the answer but gave me attitude (sounded like an old lady with a cou try accent.) they kept me on hold and never came back to the phone. I was browsing in the Clearance section, and there were four associates not wearing their facemasks. They had them under their chin and were engaged in conversation. In other aisles in the health and beauty section, there were at least four more associates whom wear not wearing their masks either. I went to Customer Service, requested to speak to a manager, and a young Caucasian female, who I believe was a "trainee" manager was pointed out to me. I asked if associates were required to wear masks, she stated "yes". When I told her about the associates not wearing masks, she appeared to get nervous, as if not knowing what to do, and whether she should approach those associates. She walked with me near the Clearance Section, when a customer asked her about some pricing for items on a shelf. After this "manager" was done with that customer, she did an about face. This behavior and her lack of leadership made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt that she dismissed my concerns, and did not even try to make an attempt to address the situation. From what I saw today, this "manager" and the associates whom were not wearing their masks, displayed a total lack of regard for the safety of the customers and other associates. I believe that the store staff should be setting the example during this health crisis. read more

I have been going to this Walmart for 3 and a-half years and I have never been discriminated against. While standing in line at the customer service center, I witnessed along with another minority woman a middle aged Caucasian couple get in line behind us. The male Caucasian man decides to jump the line and a Caucasian female customer service worker decides to help him instead of assisting me and the minority lady who had been in line over 5 minutes. So when it was my turn I asked the customer service manager is this in policy for you all to assist Caucasians before African Americans. He shook his head, and then the other minority lady chimed in and said yes that really happened. The CSM who was also African American male said no ma'am it's not our policy. He truly apologized and advised that he would speak with her. I said thank you but I definitely want this handled. As I was walking out I ran into Leianne who is the Assistant Manager and also Caucasian. Instead of being sympathetic this lady started giving excuses such as when she cashier people tend to jump lines. I said ma'am this is not the same. Literally this Caucasian dude jump the line and the Caucasian cashier started assisting him like he was first in line. Plus, his wife andYes the Assistant Manager Leianne started making excuses for him. That was so unprofessional. So if you see this dude and his wife clearly they don't respect minorities. It's the Caucasian lady in the maroon Texas A&M long sleeve shirt husband and he has a tattoo on his left calf muscle with #1. Besides you do realize Texas A&M wanted to host a KKK rally in support of Caucasians. Really when they need African Americans to play sports for them. How crazy is that. I ordered pictures for a Christmas gift at the Wal-mart on Woodbridge December 23rd. I was told by the associate working there that they were open till 6 pm on the 24th. He said as long as you are here by 5:45 p.m. you can get your pictures. I asked him what the latest time was because my husband and I planned on going to a family event and planned on picking them up on the way. My husband and I arrived at this store by 5:30 on the 24th. We began to walk in and two managers standing at the enterance would not let us in. They said "sorry we are closed." We then explained that the day prior we were told we could pick up the photos at this time. They said no sorry we have to get our associates out. We agreed the importance of getting workers home to their loved ones and asked if they being a manager could help with this situation, especially since they said they close at 6 and it was only 5:30. They then refused and said no there is nothing we can do. We then proceeded to explain that this was a Christmas gift and they said sorry but no. This was very upsetting due the fact that this was a gift for my mother and it was the only thing she asked for. We lost my father a few years back and that makes this time of year hard. I just wanted the managers help with blessing my mom this time of year. Needless to say we will no longer be going here at all. Not a good customer experience at all. read more

Coming from Michigan and a Walmart that was always busy, I am pleased to find that when I shop at this location, I never run into long lines at checkout. Only experienced one mistake at the deli, where my order was given to wrong person...but that issue was being resolved prior to my arrival and short wait time (right before Thanksgiving). read more

This is really an awesome store. And very clean because it's new. My gripe (and this is all Wal-mart's in the Dallas area) is that they've quite carrying Cake Mate RAINBOW SPRINKLES Decors for cake decorating, (the things you use to decorate the top of your cupcakes). Now they're carrying a brand called Dallies, which are crap. They don't taste good, they melt in warm weather and in cold weather the chocolate ones turn gray. Walmart still carries the Cake Mate products for cake decorating, but NOT the Cake Mate sprinkles, which are far superior to the Dallies. If you like to decorate cakes and cupcakes, stay away from Dallies. They are a very inferior product and you will be disappointed as I was. read more
