As a Pokémon collector, shopping for trading cards can sometimes be stressful. Collectors often have to ask employees about inventory, restocks, and availability, and unfortunately we're not always treated kindly when we do. That's why I wanted to recognize Sandy at the Target returns/customer service desk. Sandy is always friendly, patient, and professional. She takes the time to help customers and treats collectors with respect, even when she's busy. Her positive attitude makes the experience much more enjoyable and takes a lot of the stress out of trying to find products. I hadn't been to target since the whole boycott situation. I really needed something so I stopped by into my surprise. The employees in this target were so nice. I had multiple people ask me. How was I doing and if I was finding everything OK this really made the shopping experience wonderful. The only grip I have is how the cleaning supplies stop and then you have to go to a completely different aisle in another area of the store to find what you're looking for that kind of threw me off. read more

The service at this Target is great. This Target is very large, it has a a big selection of everyday items as well as seasonal items. My Dad prefers the Target brand for adult diapers as opposed to the name brand. So yes the value is great. read more

They have a Target employee that was holding a high demand merchandise for their friend/family member. The BTS light stick is on high demand and was selling out very fast. I drove 1 hour to this Target & got there as soon as they opened. This Hispanic lady that works in electronics told me they sold out the light sticks 3 days ago. A few minutes later, I saw her and heard her selling a light stick to someone she obviously know. It was supposed to be a first come first serve item but she lied to me and withheld selling me the item in favor of someone she knows. They didn't know I can understand Spanish and heard the other customer thanking the employee for holding the item for her until she got there. This lady needs to be fired for not following and going against Target policy. I do not think it is fair that she did that. I will definitely post this experience in other platforms. There was a young guy working here today (Sunday the 6th) at the self checkout line who was so helpful I had to write him a review. I believe his name was Kwame? I only got a quick glance at his name tag. He helped me understand the target app that I had need confused about for a long time and he took his time to show me what I was doing and saved me $15 it really blew me away. Isela the front end manager provided a terrible service experience today. She made me as a customer feel very uncomfortable through her demeanor, demands and unwillingness to identify a solution for a minor purchase. She ostracized me in front of multiple employees and customers. She lacks proper etiquette, people skills or management style to support the younger staff in her presence. She misused her authority today and negatively impacted multiple people on site. read more

Clean your restrooms... especially the ladies room. There was a huge dead bug on the floor, trash overflowing on the floor, no toilet paper in restroom... what a nightmare and how embarrassing it was for me to sit down in a stall without toilet paper. Even the trash cans outside were overflowing with trash on the ground. read more

This is seriously the best target. There's always decent parking, everything is always stocked, the bakery has a nice selection and the frozen food area is MASSIVE! I've never been to a more organized and in stock target. There's no annoying music and screaming kids. It's pretty silent, great shopping experience. Also Tony (and I believe Peter) were amazing at helping me find something I was looking for. They stopped what they were doing and genuinely tried looking for it and i appreciate that so much. He later saw me do a pick up to tell me they had 2 in stock but that's what my pick up was haha. I'll definitely shop here above any other target in the area again and again. 10/10 recommend read more

Oh how I love a Super Target! A place where you can buy for almost any occasion. The Super Target in Rowlett has a CVS pharmacy, a great optometry center with an onsite optometrist, a Starbucks, a full bakery, and a great selection of groceries, including a nice selection of beer and wine. Also this Target has all of the other sections that make Target what makes Target great. The store is clean, bright, with wide aisles that make it easy to navigate through the store. The restrooms are located in the front of the store and they are always very clean as far as public restrooms go. The electronics section is in the back of the store and just so happens to be my favorite part of the store. There are plenty of checkout lanes and they have self checkout for those who like that sort of thing. One secret that you should know about Target (just promise not to tell anyone ). The clearance items are located on the end caps on the backside of most aisles. They tend to throw all kinds of things on these small shelves. If you dig through you can find a great deal every so often. My wife and I cruise around looking for these little clearance sections. There is a downside to this Target. The location does not make it easy to access from the eastbound side of Lakeview Parkway (66) during evening traffic. However, there is a secret road that is located on the north side of the store. The road will take you from the Target parking lot to Rowlett Road. It's a great shortcut to know about. My wife and I use it to cut through to the Rowlett Library. read more

Not sure why people post a one time experience of any store and judge it. The Target staff are great, I am sure if the previous person had talked to another employee or found the manager, things would have been rectified. The many of the guys stocking shelves are seasonal staff, at the holidays everyone is trying to make a few extra dollars, and not all are suited for stocking shelves. Many are not suited for retail but you have to try the experience yourself before wondering why people are mumbling bad words. The store is so clean and well stocked its hard not to go there at least on a monthly basis. The employees I have seen are all working hard and will stop what they are doing to help me find what I am looking for and with a smile! Forgiveness is rare give it a try and make your heart lighter! read more

If you're HANDICAPPED stay AWAY from this store. Every time I have been here the electric shopping carts have been dead or we're in danger of falling apart. Target apparently has no standards for caring for their disabled shoppers because I have complained to staff here before and nothing has changed. It's not easy to be struck down by disability in the prime of life. One has to work up the nerve to go back out in public. Then to appear capable and be forced to use their courtesy carts to shop requires an extra scoop of bravery. The looks of pity or even disgust from people who either think I'm a poor poor man or that I'm possibly faking it and lazy occur every time I'm out in public. Add to that the creaking shaking rattling painfully slow electric carts, if you find one at all, just draws that much more attention to you. But, even more disturbing is that these carts are unreliable. I have had to have a new one brought to me after waiting for a store employee to finally show up and pay attention when I asked for help. I can't trust these carts enough to feel comfortable shopping at Target. I'm done. read more

Target always gets me!! Can't seem to walk out with just what is on my list and I always spend more than I need too!!! I came to this location with my sister (she needed gifts for people at work) and I was pretty impressed. There was more than enough parking spots even though they were pretty busy. A very nice worker greeted us as soon as we walked in and asked if we needed any help. We mostly stayed in the cookware and home decor area but from what I saw the shelves were well stocked and the aisles kept clean. They even had a clearance shelf!! I was really surprised in their gift wrapping and cards section. It was nice to be able to find really cute boxes to put the gifts in instead of just bags with tissue paper. We were able to find boxes that we could personalize on the outside for each person. If you are shopping here it is also nice to find a large selection of gift cards to certain locations, other than just the American Express or Visa. Unfortunately we were looking for Barnes & Noble, which they don't carry. Otherwise everything was a success!!! The only negative on this location is trying to leave. Due to the high traffic volume in the area it isn't the best location to exit. Other than that issue I really liked this particular location and will come back when I'm in that area of Dallas. read more

They don't make Targets like this in California! Holy cow, this place is the size of a professional football stadium! It was so big, clean and organized and I almost got lost. The shelves were nicely stocked and there were no ghetto people anywhere or crying babies and kids running down the aisles. I actually got to shop in peace and quiet and I got everything I needed in one stop. There are check out lines as far as you can see and each one has a cashier! Unlike the one in Oakland where there's always only like 5 cashiers and hundreds waiting in line! Oh how I wish they built these amazing Targets in California.....next time I'm in Rowlett I will definitely be back here! What a treat! read more

My only pet peeve here is that there is always 2 or MAYBE 3 registers open which leads to very long lines, and waiting every time I come to this store, which is nuts because why have 20 registers and 3 open?? I am sure there are a lot of High School students looking for jobs being that there is a high school located not even a mile away from this store. So why they are not hiring or at least posting a help wanted sign in their window is a little mind boggling to me. I would give a 5 star rating only if they were more expeditious when checking out. My boyfriend and I shop only here now. We will never go to Walmart again! The pharmacy is friendly, no nonsense, quick an helpful. The store is always neat and prices well labeled. The staff is abundant, out and about, offers their help, the checkout lines are never long! Ever! I've never even had to hunt for a parking space! Sometimes we are a little hungry when we have to go grocery shopping, so we just stop by their cafe and Starbucks for a little lunch before shopping. There are also some yummy restaurants nearby, Jason's deli, wing stop, dickeys BBQ. They just need more Vita Coco coconut waters and dark chocolate almond milk in stock. Stopped in late on a week night to pick up a few groceries before heading home and the place was pretty much deserted, which I liked because I felt like I had the entire place all to myself. I was even able to talk freely on my cell phone while shopping without irritating other shoppers (I hate that!). Camilla the manager in customer service couldn't recognize her own judgement of business and personal. Other than it being a unique circumstance....Her trying to display her "let me handle this" attitude (with her coworkers) was absolutely unnecessary and unprofessional. My family and I are grateful for Target because that's where we shop for our everyday needs. But after this experience....We will shop elsewhere. I will never come to this store again. I was shopping with my 4 year old daughter & some lunatic employee by the name of Daniel was cussing a storm in the other aisle. I happened to go around the aisle to see what the problem was and he was the only one in the aisle. It seemed like he was just talking to himself or something. I managed to approach him to look at his badge name & i made a friendly hello but overall really weird I should say. I moved to Texas four years ago, and Target was the first place that welcome us. They allowed me to my schoolwork there (I was taking on-line classes) and when we fell on hard financial times, essential baby items were "mysteriously" discounted or free. I first tried to bring it up to customer service, and they said not to worry about it. I'm a worrier, but they eventually managed to get me to take the hint! They employees are very knowledgeable in their areas. The store is always clean. A tiny complaint would be that the open register is never in the middle, and I always seem to be on the wrong side, so I have to walk all the way over, and my husband has cerebral palsy. If you are trying to get a phone activation with Target tonight, DONT GO! I waited in line for 12 hours and walked away with nothing because their system kept crashing and the computer got locked out. I LOVE Target. Preferred over most stores for my shopping needs. However, went in on a Saturday morning thinking I was beating the crowd...but to my dismay I was walking around to avoid the Target employees stocking the shelves. Shouldn't that be done before hours or after hours? I'm usually here first thing in the morning. It is always quiet. Every employee greets me with a 'good morning' and offers assistance if needed. The only reason for knocking off a star is their restroom. An update would get rid of the old, worn-down look and smell, it certainly doesn't match the rest of the store. read more

Wish it was open later. Great markdowns and clearance. Clean store with friendly happy employees. Competitive pricing with other big box stores like walmart. They accept coupons and do not hold up the line with advertising price match in checkout lines. If you would like to price match go to the customer service and everyone there is friendly!
