Southern Roots offers style for both guys, and the gals: classic looks, casual comfort, and outdoors wear by Patagonia, and other brand names. Classic Birkensock sandals in many colors and designs. Water wear sandals & shoes. I bought a Patagonia "NOH2O" rainproof hooded windbreaker with big waterproof pockets that has done the job when needed, really came in handy. Accessories, hats, sunglasses, accent jewelry, socks, gloves, and more. Staff was pleasant and helpful during my visits. The new Roots at 505 N. Goliad has it's own parking in back, and along the north side. Marked ADA parking space & ramp entry into Roots. So, looks like February 13th, a Saturday, will be a "Block Party" to welcome Southern Roots.

But the most expensive item I got was like $75! Most in the $30-50 range which I think is fantastic for a high quality boutique that caters to their customers! I wish I knew the name of the saleswoman, but she was tall, thin, with short/gray hair. From the moment we walked in she seemed repulsed we had walked into to her store. She followed us around to ensure her store was safe. She talked down to us and was anxiously awaiting us to leave. It is such a shame that in this day and age, people like this still exist. I hope she is aware that she lost a great sale. More importantly, her blatant rudeness towards us is only a reflection of her own self. Unfortunately, this is an awful look for the Rockwall store and the company as a whole. Please teach your employees to be a little more respectful and less racist.
