Southern Roots offers style for both guys, and the gals: classic looks, casual comfort, and outdoors wear by Patagonia, and other brand names. Classic Birkensock sandals in many colors and designs. Water wear sandals & shoes. I bought a Patagonia "NOH2O" rainproof hooded windbreaker with big waterproof pockets that has done the job when needed, really came in handy. Accessories, hats, sunglasses, accent jewelry, socks, gloves, and more. Staff was pleasant and helpful during my visits. The new Roots at 505 N. Goliad has it's own parking in back, and along the north side. Marked ADA parking space & ramp entry into Roots. So, looks like February 13th, a Saturday, will be a "Block Party" to welcome Southern Roots. read more

I had the best time in the store yesterday!!! My first time actually since I don't live in the Rockwall area. I just wanted to say thank you to the girls who helped me!!! I work 7 days a week as a real estate broker and my entire life is in storage right now. I had ZERO spring clothes.... So I needed everything. It was the most anti pretty woman, pretty woman shopping day! The girls we're extremely kind, extremely helpful, and made this EASY! Y'all have an incredible team Highly recommend. As for people who say the stuff is over priced... I found it to be completely the opposite. It's extremely reasonable, I won't say cheap because they carry nice brands. But the most expensive item I got was like $75! Most in the $30-50 range which I think is fantastic for a high quality boutique that caters to their customers! I will be making this drive again!!!!!! read more

Placed an order online with Southern Roots. Very pleased with my purchase. I ordered six can covers as a gift for a girls weekend getaway. They are ADORABLE and were a huge hit! What an awesome idea to put a pocket on a can cover so ladies can keep their lip gloss and ID all in one place. I'm giving 2 stars because this boutique does have cute stuff. I went into the store this past Saturday after driving in from Dallas. This has been the second time I've been into the store and again was not even given a simple 'Hi, welcome in'. It's nice to just be acknowledged vs continuing on your conversation about your personal life. read more

I guess some of the stuff is cute but it's way overpriced and not worth it quality wise and every single time And they will literally follow you around the store and act like they are folding things or messing with the hangers so watch you like you're gonna try to steal it's weird and uncomfortable I'd go to groovys or hazel and olive they don't do that it's way cheaper better quality and staff. read more

Great boutique on the Rockwall town square! Men's and women's clothing, jewelry, shoes, purses, gifts...everything you need for yourself or a gift for someone else! Terrible return policy. A while back my wife bought some items there. After the clerk charged her credit card my wife realized one of the items was very expensive. She asked the clerk to return it and credit her card. The clerk stated no returns and that she could get in store credit only. This was within 1 minute of purchase. This week my wife bought my daughter a clothing item that did not fit. My wife had been given a gift receipt and told she could exchange it if necessary. When my daughter went in to exchange it they said because it was marked 15% off and was a sale item that there were no returns or exchanges or store credit given - your stuck with it. The owner and the manager were in the back of the store but when my daughter asked to speak to them she was told they weren't there. I went to the store within 10 minutes and was able to speak to both of them and after much bickering was able to get a store credit. So if your thinking of buying a gift for someone beware the "return policy" - there really isn't one. Also on there website they quote bible scripture as "do unto others". I'm afraid not. Great little find on the Square in Rockwall. What a delightful little boutique and the perfect place to find gifts for my nieces - and maybe a little something for me too. Very helpful staff that made me appear a bit more hip than I really am these days. They also carry my favorite line of candles. Perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon and much easier parking than Northpark! I'll definitely be back and can't wait to see what they have for Spring. read more

The clothes and accessories here are very, very cute. A little on the pricier side for Rockwall, but higher quality than other stores in the area. The brands you find here you will not find anywhere else. read more
