I am extremely disappointed with this store. I know there had been a problem with kids and the Tide Pod challenge and people stilling the pods to sell them on Craigslist. But to lock them up and customers have to wait up to 20 minutes to get the pods to then be told "I have to take them up to the register. Basically you do not trust me with the pods but I have a basket full of stuff and you trust me to pay for those things. This does not make since and is very inconvenient and the pods don't seem to make it up to the register so the employee has to go back to get another container. Stopped here for a last minute birthday present at 10PM. I'm guessing that this was the "crackhead rush hour" for this particular store because it was packed and there were exactly 3 cashiers. Given the time of night, I don't expect many checkers but this group of cashiers must have been the "D" team. Normally when you check out with an "A" team cashier it sounds like beep, beep, beep, beep...your total is blah blah blah... Have a good day... THIS is the "nice" "new" Walmart in the area? My sis in law actually recommended this location to us, remind me to go slap her in the back of the head next time I see her. Remind me to never, ever go shopping at this Walmart again. Seriously. If I mention it, just shoot me. This place is over-crowded with morons, disorganized, poorly stocked, sloppy, and dirty. And it was everybody, brown, white, or black: Idiots stopping in the middle of the parking lane when there's plenty of room to pull forward while waiting so I can move forward and neither of us has to block our lanes; people changing their kid's diaper in the shopping cart rather than taking the long, arduous expedition to the restrooms; women who take up plenty of room already stopping in the middle if the isle with their carts at a 45 degree angle, thereby assuring full blockage of an isle that should easily accommodate three or four people -- I could go on. Let me finish with the elderly janitor that had to sweep up under the display cases, shaking his head in disbelief and disgust when every pass brought up wadded up Kleenex, discarded tags, and merchandise people obviously dropped but were too fucking lazy to pick up. It was absolutely the most grand collection of lazy half-wits I've ever seen in my life, Then when I came around to the check out area and saw the herds of morons stretched out straight back from the counters, thereby blocking an entire main isle, I almost left. But no. I got in line, waited, waited, waited, and when it was my turn, the friggin' software in the registers doesn't say you've had a card-read error until you get to the very end of the transaction! This Walmart location is actually not that bad. Compared to the Super Walmart at Beach Drive, this location is immaculately clean! What I like most are the people. Staff are friendlier and helpful. Customers are mostly decent. They tend to get very busy here esp. after work or weekends. I always get good deals here on children's toys. A lot inexpensive than Toys R Us or Target. I usually come here if I have to have my car oil changed and I shop while waiting. The Car Care Dept. are fast, friendly and reliable. read more

Walmart has made billions during the pandemic yet they cannot get their grocery pick up or any of their pick up services up to par! If you've noticed they've removed the "Express" from the service because it is truly anything but. Waiting an average of over an hour and a half after it was promised at this location. Employees don't seem to care and why should they - they're not paid much to care. There are 18 spots for the "Pick-Up" at this location and there's usually 20+ cars waiting and people are always upset. I felt sorry for the lady next to me with her daughter in the car doing a DoorDash pick up for a customer and she waited nearly 2 and a half hours. Sadly this Walmart has taken business away from good places like Stater Bros and deliver consistently crap service. read more

I've been shopping at the old Walmart off of Eucalyptus for a couple of decades and I was actually looking forward to the opening of the Superstore but now that I've visited it I have to say that I'm far less inclined to shop there. At the vacated smaller store next door everything was easy to find.The well informed staff was always a pleasure to deal with. The new store is quite a contrast. Not only is it disorganized but the support staff is seriously lacking -- uninformed and disinterested. I asked one employee stocking the shelves in the grocery section where I might find a specific item and when she didn't know the answer yelled out hoping to get the attention of another employee in a distant aisle. After she yelled out a second time getting no response, I resumed my search. I eventually found the item I was looking for and in the process listened to two employees enjoying a no so private, off color joke talking loudly across the head high shelving that separated them. I know they're working the kinks out and I will undoubtedly return for a few things from time to time, but I won't be as excited about shopping there as I used to be. A guy shopper [one who is accustomed to buying what he's looking for and nothing else] the idea of having to walk a country block to get a gallon of milk only to retrace that lengthy route to buy it, isn't exactly the shopping experience I'm accustomed to. read more

Oh, my god. This place is absolutely disgusting. It looks like the day after a Black Friday sale - a mess! There is crap all over the floors in the wrong isles. People have no respect! Why would you just throw things wherever you want? Better yet, why do you let your dumb kids run around everywhere wrecking everything?! This is not your dirty house. It's mind boggling to me that people can come in to a store and destroy it. It's basic understanding, people. It gets better. The people that shop there are quite terrifying. Seeing thongs and midriffs on a 300 lb body is more than I bargained for. People yelling at their kids. I don't want to hear that. Keep your voice down! Nearly every person that I saw in there looked like trailer trash. Sorry I'm not sorry. The checkout lines were out of this world. We waited forever and a day because there were not enough cashiers. What a shame, this is a nice new big store unfortunate the employees need people training. I saw four employes on the floor and they act as if you are invisible at least at Target the employees say hello and ask if you need any help, if they are stocking shelves they move so you can get by down the idle, but NOT at Walmart. I found one employee in the electronic department who was helpful and nice. Then you have the people shopping, one guy asked me to pay for his groceries, boy this is a new one. In the grocery section the meat and produce needed stocking. When leaving the store there were two young men sitting in their car in the disability parking spot one got out and he had his pants down past his butt, since he had no shirt on the front was also expose, underwear-- color; grey more than what I wanted to see while shopping, where was the security person? This is your basic Walmart. They have a lot of great stuff at good prices. I've gotten a cube organizer and desk from Wal-Mart and it was surprisingly good quality. The fresh fruits and vegetables are fine. They have all of the basic food you need. The only issue i have with this Walmart is the make up section. I avoid the make-up aisles ever since they locked everything up and made it almost impossible to find what you need. That section is really cramped and messy. Other than the makeup aisles, the store is pretty clean and easy to navigate. This location has dramatically improved check-out times since they added the self-checkout option. The last couple of times I've visited, I was able to run in and purchase my stuff and leave without having to suffer through a long check out line. They do check receipts at the door now, so just have it ready when you walk out for an even faster exit time. read more

i was in this morning on the cellphone area and i was standing there waiting for my turn, there were two customer attendants helping customers ahead of me, then one of the attendant ask me if i needed help with the tablets, so i said no, i just wanted to buy a screen protector for my phone and i told him that i have an iphone 7+ and adk him if they have it, he said ok, but i dont have the keys to open the phone cases and screen protectors cabinet, i told him ok, so im still on the line waiting to see if the other clerk would have the keys and a woman came( "customer"), im pretty sure she knows im next in line, so as soon as the customer left i was about to ask the 2nd clerk and answer me arrogantly, i have to take care of the lady first, and i told him i was in line even begore the lady came, he said she was first before me, i just nodded, then waited for another 15 mins all in all i waited for 30- 45 mins but what i cant beleive is the first guy i ask about the screen protector, "he lied to his teeth telling me he doesn't have the keys, ive been going to walmart for the 10 years and just get to encounter a nery unprofessional employees read more

I have completely stopped shopping at Walmart, I tried to justify coming here but, the savings are not worth it. The employees are ok, but some are just plain rude and extremely lazy. this Wal-Mart has damn near everything locked up in cages. once you flag down an Ex-Con employee to open it up, they still won't give you the item until you finish shopping. to be honest......why are all of the African American products locked up in cages??? For instance, Tresemme and Pantene products are out in the opening. If I wanted Dark and Lovely or any other African American Products, I have to flag down an employee to open up a cage. This review is for their grocery pick up. As a busy mom of a toddler and an infant, goin to the grocery by myself takes a lot of planning and preparation. Getting them in and out of their car seats takes us forever. That's why when I found out that Walmart offers grocery pick up it was like god sent! I downloaded the app. Placed everything I needed in my cart and chose the preferred time of pick up. As soon as I parked my car on the designated lot, I checked in on my app and one of their staff came out with all my groceries and even helped me placed everything inside my trunk. Please be careful going into walmart. The store is so crowded, no room to social distance and people not waring mask. Its looks like a regular day at Disney. Being the circumstances right now this is unacceptable!! Not only are they placing every shopper at risk but their employees as well. Corporate is allowing 900 shoppers to be in the store that doesn't include employees, so now think what would have if even a fourth of those people shaping contacted the virus?
