This Walmart processed my $350 order and the driver parked in front of a random house not even on my street and took their "delivery proof" photo that didn't even show the package. I went to the house on the other side of my neighborhood and the neighbor confirmed the car pulled up and then drove away without getting out. Their customer service originally told me don't worry we'll refund your money then 7 hours later at 2am emailed me saying never mind it was delivered so we're not refunding you. Now I need to fight them for a refund and probably file a police report. Don't order in the southern NJ area because this Walmart might cause a simple delivery to become a huge headache. read more

Walmart runs a very disingenuous operation, and that is a very generous statement. When one searches for an item of interest online, one is typically presented with the item at a price that is frequently attractive and competitive with other online retailers, and one in particular that needs not any mention. A number of options are available for delivery and local pickup. Typically, the price is displayed prominently, in bold, with a higher price crossed out, as if to indicate a discount. Somewhere below this discounted price is the disclaimer "Price when purchased online." While, on the face of it, this may appear to be a perfectly reasonable proposition from a legalistic, pragmatic perspective, it is a rather deceptive practice that attempts to allow Walmart to compete with certain other online retailers that operate under a completely different business model. The issue is a type of bate and switch in that one is enticed by the attractive price advertised, and thereby encouraged to buy the item from Walmart. As Walmart's primary value proposition is the ability to shop locally and purchase and enjoy the item that same day, the problem arises when such a desire is pursued by the customer. When attempting to purchase the item locally at the advertised price, the customer is then informed that the discounted price is only available when purchased online - which, to be fair is stated on the item's web page - however, one cannot simply then purchase the item online and pick it up right there at the store. No. It must be shipped to the customer's residence. It cannot even be shipped to the store for pickup at a later date. This is what me and my wife have been told on more than one occasion. Is this the true policy? I don't really know. So, in this scenario, we recently desired an item and went to the local store to purchase it. Of course, we were told that we could not purchase the item at the advertised price at the store, and would need to purchase the item online to enjoy the offered $30 savings. So, of course, we left the store and purchased the item from everyone's major competitor and received it two days later. This practice of Walmart is unfair and very deceptive. While it is understandable that they would want to compete directly with this other online retailer, it is not at all acceptable that they should do so under the same brick-and-morter name and business model. If they want to establish an online presence as a retailer operating as a remote seller and shipper, then they should do so under a distinctly and easily identifiable business domain separate from their physical, geographic business persona. Under their current policies and procedures, they are unfairly presenting an alleged advantage to the Walmart shopping experience that really doesn't exist. The crux of the issue lies in the customer's inability to purchase said item at the discounted price without doing so in a remote, ship-to fashion - even after driving to the store and expending time, gasoline and stomach acid. This is not only incredibly stupid, but detrimental to Walmart's profitability and investor commitment as a conventional retailer ostensibly servicing the real, UNvirtual purchasing public. I believe this to be an unlawful practice and I fully intend to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission citing Walmart as a false advertiser and practicer of deceptive and unfair business practices. read more

Went here on Wednesday August 7th 2024 with my parents as part of our Cape May/Wildwood trip. We got a jergens cherry almound cream, since i was sunburnt and needed something to help it. We also got Aveeno, 2 toothbrush holders, and Rob's backstage Rings, as well as spring water for our coffee pot. We also got advil, which was also for my sunburn. Store was very organized, and we found what we needed. Went to self checkout, and paid with our credit card. Hope to be back next year! read more

Same day Delivery is great. The price seems to be in line with the other stores in the vicinity.

Price is not the lowest, Audi and a few others are less. Produce they pick for home delivery is what they can't get rid of at the store (and then further bruised in shipment)... (trying out home delivery as my car was scratched the full length and after asking 8 or more times they would not review the tapes to find out who did it). Called the police when it happened and they said work with the store... (I tried, they can't be bothered to do their job) good luck once we get slammed by summer traffic. They have more handicapped Scooters, but often down too often... or they don't even run more than a few hundred feet and then they are dead... read more

Bought tires from walmart in 2023 think it was. Really good tires excellent price. Went to have them installed because I ordered them online. While I was there the fella at the counter recommended or actually, just asked if I wanted to buy the warranty with it-at the time were I think $10 for the roadside. 5 for lifetime balance $5 for lifetime rotation. ( I think its $28 now for the complete warranty per tire) He recommended, it's always a good thing. I went ahead and did it. Since buying these tires a few years ago i've had, I think three flats. With all the construction going on in this area, there are construction nails, screws and things, my tires have been repaired completely free. I bought this stupid Fancy valve covers on temu (which totally sucks. Temu, that's a whole other review. Temu products. fall completely apart) anyway these t moo valve stem covers molded themselves to my tire stem and I couldn't get them off to put air in. They got them off for me for free. ( Of course , I did not put them back on) balance and rotate my tires anytime I go in and need it. The car runs like a champ on these tires, and anytime I get it serviced where they balance and rotate , i'm reminded of what a great deal these tires are. If the tires can't be repaired.And I need to buy a new one after the first year.The warranty is not a grading system a percentage of how much wear and tears on the tire. I think that's an awesome warranty. So far , they've been able to repair the effects of construction in this area on my tires. I can't tell you how relieved I was not to have to pay for another tire repair from a 3 inch screw in my tire. This minimal Extra per tire has paid for itself at least three times over now. I can't remember what the shop is on bayshore road; but the first screw I got in my tire right around the corner from me, i took to a local guy who charged me $ 35 to repair my tire plus tax. I felt totally taken advantage of. I usually like to shop local owners to support mom and pop businesses- but I'll be going to walmart for this sort of stuff from now on. I wish they had a full on repair shop. Be sure to Keep and bring your paperwork with the original warranty on it. Sometimes they can't find in their records or computers that I have a warranty. If I weren't able to prove it, I would have had to pay for the repair which is only $18 anyway, but still.-- this warranty is the gift that keeps on giving. read more

This Super Wal-mart is even more Super than the ones in my shopping circle. Seriously I guess the further south you go, Wal-mart's get bigger? What you'd expect from a Wal-mart. All kinds of folks shopping for all kinds of things and in a pinch we came out to this Supercenter. It was a bit picked over but we found everything we were looking for and even a couple of deals. There were only a couple standard check out lines open on a fairly busy weeknight. Luckily Self check is there to save the day. It's a bit rough around the edges, but the staff encountered were nice and like Wal-mart is known for it's a one stop for the pinch that were in. Wal-mart to the rescue. This Walmart is not very good there was trash everywhere! There was also animals running but mainly rats! It's very unsanitary in there and the workers and mean and disrespectful the ambiance is also not very good. read more

Best Walmart experience I've ever had! First, upon arrival, I was greeted by some lovely parking lot art (see photo). My toddler was ready to explode from the long drive to the beach from PA, but he settled right down when I discovered the crazy bargains on V-day stuffed animals (got one that looked just like our dog for $6!!!), and my son got even happier when I put some of Walmart's awesome $1 plastic animals in his hand. They had an abundance of roses for Valentine's Day and these buds were consistently better looking than the stuff at Whole Foods, where I normally get them. And I don't mean to say they were superior grocery store roses, they were legit beautiful! The staff was actually available on the floor. They actually wanted to help me when I asked. And they followed through by sticking with me until the items I needed were found. This is also the BIGGEST Walmart I have ever seen! It goes on FOREVER. I honestly don't think I've been in any store that huge. Crazy! The store is clean, well stocked, and everyone there cared about doing a good job. I have NEVER seen this at a Walmart in my life. And it was not just professional pleasantry, they were being kind and friendly. I asked the greeter if he had some scissors so I could cut a tag off my kid's toy when I left, and he whipped some right out. So nice! Love this place! I've been in the Rio Grande NJ Walmart several times this past month. Each time there are No Sanitary gels at the door where we get our carts. No sanitary wipes to clean carts . No one there to clean carts. No one in foods cleaning down showcases or doors like in ShopRite. Walmart is very poor with healthcare & spread of Covid in this store. But I'm sure they'll now have someone at the door to count how many customers allowed in because of new restrictions. If Covid cases are up in New Jersey health officials should go to Walmart in Rio Grande & give them citations or fines for Not following health guidelines. read more

RIO GRANDE, NJ 08210 I am a Walmart + member. Why? That is what I'm asking myself! I've ordered store delivery that was canceled with no notice to me, I found out when I went looking other app after the delivery time came and went. Only to find out all delivery and pick-up orders were canceled, went directly to the store and the place was trashed, literally! And it looked like every employee from all shifts were there trying to stock the empty shelves. Most heard complaining about the new manager needed to go, one of those comments was said directly to me. I placed an order for shipping. 3 items 2 of the exact same item, all 3 shipped separately, all 3 arrived different days, ALL 3 were damaged, 2 severely. These are just two examples. Out of all the times I've used my walmart +, getting it all/getting it right happened extremely rarely. read more

Horrible customer service. Cashier rolled her eyes when she saw my cart because she actually had to work. No grocery bags available for purchase. So none of my groceries were able to be bagged. Cashier was rude and lazy. 3 separate towels didn't have a scan tags on them and she said she couldn't do anything without the price tag. I said well is there an employee that can run back and check. She said "do you see any employees?". So rude. All the workers stocking shelves were in the way of shoppers and wouldn't move so I could get items off shelves unless asked. Hate Walmart. I stopped in to grab some emergency supplies (make-up to last for my trip since I forgot mine in my rush to pack) and regret the short time I was in there. I think many of the people need to update the reviews here. They have changed so much in the past 2 years upgrading the store from Electronics to Groceries. The fruit selection grew but I am not a fan of buying from Mexico when we are 2 miles from local farmers so support them. The cloths section always have something you can use which might not be a large selection but something for every age group is a plus with me. The sports section is the best around!!!! Fishing camping fitness bikes you name it they have it!!! The auto section is also great. read more

Finally, over 1.5 years of completed construction does this much hated store open. Unfortunately, it has clogged up Route 9 so bad that a former 5 minute commute now takes three times as long. Lines here are way too long and I guess you can call people who shop here scandalous. There was a huge controversy about when Walmart would open after they finished constructed the building. Guess finally a big ole corporation won. Anyway, I still know folks who rather shop at K-Mart than here. read more

Me and my boyfriend went into here had a cart full of stuff (we shop here ALL the time) We went to self checkout and had a worker watching us the whole time as we checked out a couple minutes go by, she comes up to us and says "I have to check this" and opens up a diaper bag we were buying also proceeds to check our screen to make sure we got everything as this is all happening we are still scanning stuff than after she's done checking the diaper bag she asks us "did you get all the stuff at the bottom" we have a cart full to remind you so we haven't gotten to it yet, after she checks everything she walks away and proceeds to watch us check out. We gave her NO indication we were stealing, she took it upon herself to assume so. Never will I shop here again. read more

I been 2 Walmart's today and no ice. They keep the reusable freezer bags in back. When I whet to the Walmart in Florida they had a freezer that's makes and bags it owns ice. I would like to see this ice machine at all Walmart's. read more

I am so disapointed . It is a new store and the employees need more training in the lunchmeat and the fresh chicken. The large whole chickens were not in stock I enjoy the garlic but I was told one day they were not done to come back at noon. I did go back and they were sold out. So the next day I went back it was 2:00 they said they were not putting anymore in the spit. I went to get lunchmeat and they had no cooper sharp and beef bologna..They did not have any.... I asked for ham sliced thin well when I got home it had 6 slices of thick cut ham... I will be going back to the "produce place" or shoprite. So disapointed. read more

Had tires put on while I was on the golf course. Things seemed fine when I picked up the truck and paid for them. Heading back home the low tire pressure sensor lite up and I pulled over to check things. Two lugs were missing and one of my sensors I later found in a cup holder. I called the store and the manager called me back to tell me they told me about that before I left. I said u must be confusing me with another customer and he admitted this happened allot that day. The lugs got stripped because they used the drill to put them on fast instead of hand twisting it. The sensor they said leaked and they put in a 3 dollar replacement. I also noted 3 other tires had a new valve stems according to the bill. Manager admitted that was a mistake. They seem to take no responsibility for their mistakes. Stay away! read more

I was so excited to find out that Walmart would deliver to my house. I had been using Shoprite for pick-up and found them to be extremely slow. I had ordered pick-up from another Walmart when I was traveling and found the service to be phenomenal. My delivery arrived, but almost half of my order was missing. I called and reported the issue, but never saw a credit. After a few days, I realized that I could get a credit for all of the missing items on the app. I'm not sure that I am going to try delivery again. This was my second grocery from Walmart. read more

I give this store a 3-star rating today, only because of the excellent customer service I received in the electronics department from a young man by the name of Horace. From the moment he approached me and asked if I needed assistance he was kind, courteous, patient, accommodating, and very professional. He helped me find the laptop that was suitable for me and I thanked him for his kind service. Unlike my previous visit to the store, two weeks ago. At that time, I approached the counter and there were several people of color (2 men and a woman) behind the counter. Although they looked at me and saw I was standing there none of them made an effort to help me. Actually, they totally ignored me before the woman and the larger male walked away from the area, leaving a young thin guy with his pants below his hips, and underwear showing, who pulled his shirt down to cover this fact alone in the area. I asked him for assistance and he neglected to help me, telling me I needed to wait for the female to return to aid me. Several minutes later, she AND THE BIG GUY returned. The thin associate then told her I was looking for a computer, at which time she instructed him to help me. She then left the area again and the big guy sat down behind the counter blocking him from the view of customers. This kid reluctantly came over to help me and was not enthusiastic about it at all. He took his time checking to see if the computers I was interested in were in stock when an attractive young woman, scantily clad, came to the counter and asked him for help. He immediately started helping me and left this senior citizen standing there with no further assistance until I finally told him "never mind," at which time he replied, "that's fine!" Today, when I went back to the store, the same two guys (no name tags) were there along with Horace. Just as they did the first time, they ignored me and left me to stand there to be waited on by Horace when he finished with another customer. I definitely felt as though I was being discriminated against for two reasons. One, because I am white, and two because I am a senior citizen. I hope the manager of this store sees this review and realizes that these loafs are losing the store hundreds of dollars by ignoring customers who they determine to be unworthy of assistance. Not that it matters, as Wal-Mart makes lots of money. However, during this dreadful economy, every dollar counts. I'm so glad I got Horace to wait on me this time. read more

Just got my first place at the shore so I ran over to Walmart to pick up a few things. Turns out when we got there we found out we had a bubble in our tire. We ran around back to get new tires while we did our shopping. Decided to throw in a oil change while we were at it. The service department did a great job. Overall we waited a little over an hour. Not bad for a Saturday afternoon. I wanted to pick up some St. Patrick's decorations for the new place, however they said they never got in a shipment. #walmartfail. Who doesn't have St. Patrick's Day decorations. Don't they know North Wildwood is a Irish kinda town. read more

Wal-mart in our area is your regular Wal-mart based on my experiences on other Wal-mart. You will get the same service and greetings as the same other Wal-mart. You have your good old grocery, merchandises, electronics and medical aisle as any other Wal-mart. But you know what I love it like that, because I'm a guy I usually just get in get out of a store. Tire center is the worst in the area. Incompetent employees , need to go to school to learn how to deal with customers. Thanks to the store management for rectifying things . The tire "manager" needs a lot of help too in dealing with customers or maybe go back to work pumping gas. read more
