My sister and I kept meaning to get by here and try it out. We love supporting locally owned businesses.
Grocery outlet in Rio Grande is a franchise super market owned by a local couple. Their picture is on the front door. I love this.
Also love the store. They have organic and vegetarian options, fresh veggies, everything you expect from a supermarket- and great deals- it's just not owned by a large corporation. It's a franchise so the connection to larger price discounts is there
I bought organic mayonnaise for 49 cents, Paul Newman pizza for 3.49, my sister picked up some snacks for the 911 workers her son works with-variety boxes of popcorn with chocolates and m& ms ( variety pack boxes for 99 cents. I mean really some great and crazy deals.
Many items are also priced normally as other grocery stores are-
We're pretty lucky here I think, most of the people in all the stores around this area ( cape may, villas,Rio Grande) are pretty nice.
Grocery outlet is no different. Our checker Maria, and Bailey, our grocery bagger were supér friendly- well, not overly in a fake way.. Just relaxed, friendly, smiling
Maria told us about a5 dollar Coupon on line, and Showed us how to get it with our current orders, so we both got 5 dollars off-which was also great. I love saving money!
I went back today--- cauliflower crust pizzas( I know you're probably going gross; but I love them) for 2.99. I usually pay 5, 6, sometimes they're even 7 ISH dollars. anyway I won't go on about all the discounts--i'll just say, this is a nice little addition to our local markets, and check it out.
o.k one more thing- they have an app for rewards( like Wawa. Which I'm in love with) love getting rewards.
So that's it- hope you stop by to at least check it out, support a local owned business. read more
