The Rio Grande Wawa is Awesome. It has such a bad reputation but it's not at all bad. The inside is clean the employees (inside & outside/fuel attendants) are awesome the food, drinks and Coffee are Outstanding. Keep being awesome Wawa we the people love and need more of you.. A quick bathroom stop on the way from one place to another. I enjoy the Wawa brand of gas stations. They're always clean, bright and well stocked. Today was no different. I did not need gas pumped today. I still don't understand the New Jersey thing of gas jockeys but whatever. We'll deal with that later. Inside the store, the associates were clean and well spoken, efficiently ringing up my sale and thanking me for my business. Nice to see. Went here on Tuesday August 6th 2024 with my parents to fill up fuel for our truck as part of our Cape May/Wildwood Vacation. This was actually our first time filling up at this location. It is located on a busy street and is near walmart and the campground that we stayed at was also nearby. We pulled in, and someone greeted us right away. We asked them to fill up diesel. We paid via credit card. Attendant was polite. Before you know it the tank was filled and we got our credit card back. Price is definitely cheaper in New Jersey! Hope to be back next year! read more

Best place for gas and food. Employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. The store is organized and efficient. I was traveling to New Jersey for the first time and didn't realize that it was illegal to pump your own gas. Before leaving my car, an attendant was at my window greeting me and asking what I wanted. At my confusion, she proceeded to happily explain the law and fill up my tank. Afterwards we parked and went inside to purchase a variety of delicious Wawa items for our trip home. My favorite road trip snack from Wawa are their pretzels! read more

Oh WAWA! I miss your sexy and hot coffees. This mega WaWa is sometimes not big enough to handle the amount of folks going in...but in the end, the objective is deliciously brewed HOT coffee for a buck and change. (Sorry Starbucks down the road...) Great turnover so that means your food products (salads sandwiches wraps bagels!) are FRESH. Funny come summer you see a good deal of folks literally grabbing everything in sight....and in the off season...it's a little dead.... Just keep on makin that delicious coffee please. What a weird grocery/convenience chain. Stopped here on our way out of Cape May (having just graduated from USCG boot camp). It was a bit of a culture shock because this place is pretty much a zoo and with all the self-serve options, I felt overwhelmed. Coffee is pretty good. read more

I go into Wawa to purchase coffee and food every single day of the. They are obviously everywhere in South Jersey and easy to find and extremely convenient. THIS location's quality is rather consistent when it comes to Wawa standards. The coffee is usually always supplied well and kept up with on inventory even though it is a consistently busy store. The food made to order from the deli counter is also well organized and consistent. You can get sandwiches, soups, burritos, & enchiladas. The prepared foods in the case are well chosen but stock is very inconsistent at this one spot. With all of that said, this store's attention to detail for the customer is horrible. The store is plagued with homeless and degeneratives that hang outside the store all the time preying on us as customers asking for change & food. It is very difficult to keep up with and I understand that. But someone's brilliant move there put the trash cans that used to be out front to the very side of the building. So now the degenerates hang out on the side waiting & lurking for their next victim. I have been approached many times & have myself got them away from an elder or child. It feels like a safety issue especially in the evenings and it is an EXTREME inconvenience to us as guests if you park and wanted to throw something out really quick as you walk into the store. You have to walk all the way around the side into harm's way in order to drop your trash. It's ridiculous! Put the customer first and get the trash cans back out front. For safety sake! The other issue at THIS particular location is the quality & cleanliness of the bathrooms....HORRIBLE!! Get it together, Rio Grande!!! read more

Not one of the better staffed wawas in the some of the staff just don't care.Been lied to just so they would not have to the job they are paid to.I like Wawa vary much just not this Wawa have been to a lot of Wawa but this one needs to weed out the bad workers. read more
